Hillary’s Bitter Clinging

Bitter clingers. The 47 percent who are takers. You’d think after Barack Obama and Mitt Romney got burned for coining these appellations, ambitious pols would learn not to talk about the opposing party’s voters that way. Both those comments were said before private audiences and leaked out. But Hillary did them better by offering her diagnosis of the “basket of deplorables” at a public campaign event. And she refuses to learn even still. At a conference in India yesterday she confidently explained the 2016 election this way: I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. . . .

George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in 2000 in the Electoral College. Gore still, this almost 20 years later, introduces himself occasionally as the man who was REALLY elected President.

Are we going to hear 20 years of Hillary doing the same? At least Gore hasn´t run around spitting on those who didn´t vote for him.

Dougherty tellingly writes that Hillary! combines self pity with contempt. She seems to think she´s heaven´s gift to humanity. The woman that people in the West Wing used to duck away from in any hiding places large enough because she was such an imperious, um, witch who would curse them for eyeballing her appears to hate everyone except those in her immediate circle. This foul mouthed harpy, this loveless bone and career breaker, wants to be loved. Sorry, Hillary. You get what you give, and you ain´t given what you want to get back. So stuff it.

FTA: Effectively, Clinton admitted she disclaims any responsibility to the states she lost, arguing that they deserve their lower economic status on account of their wickedness. Whereas she and her constituents deserve their riches, on account of their notional commitment to egalitarianism.

Re #1: Most assuredly, Her Heinous will not be here in twenty years. If she makes ten more she´ll be lucky; her health is poor, and she´s all used up. Using people as she has for so long, hating with the soul destroying ferocity of her various hatreds, makes one prematurely old and brittle.

Yes, Al Gore, the Prince of Dorkness, lost to W, went starkers, got rich on his political connections, got offendingly (as opposed to pleasingly) plump, manustuprates to climate porn, and likes telling us that he used to be the next president. I wouldn´t cross the street to see him, but it warms my cockles that he´s still bleeding inside after losing to fiddlesticks Bush. I revel in his agony. And in that of Her Thighness. Every now and then life delivers a crushing pile of boulders atop the hopes of some of the most unjustified dreamers.

Hillary is a mentally ill person. You cannot go on and on almost 1 1/2 years about losing an election. Certainly there are other things she is interested in. Had she been a gracious loser, I believe she would be having an enjoyable and fulfilling life. She chose the misery she´s living in today.
Grace and humility can go a long way to a life lived in peace with yourself.

Ah, the hook Satan imbedded in the bait. Every time Ole Scratch inks a deal there is always fine print. The godless socialists idolize themselves and believe their own press; their poo don’t stink. On Sunday, Austin’s interim police chief Brian Manley told reporters at a news conference that investigators thought there was a motive behind what was then a string of three bombing attacks; they just didn’t know exactly what it was. “We believe that the recent explosive incidents that have occurred in the city of Austin were meant to send a message,” Manley told reporters. Then, he made a plea directly to the bomber: “These events in Austin have garnered worldwide attention, and we assure you that we are listening,” Manley said. “We want to understand what brought you to this point, and we

As Washington obsesses over alleged collusion involving the Russians and the current administration, a separate investigation in Little Rock looks into alleged corruption involving the previous administration and the Russians. “FBI agents are interviewing people,” Joseph diGenova, a former U.S. attorney hired by the president on Monday, told The American Spectator over the weekend. “That is a big deal. I can assure they are interviewing people because our firm represents one of the people they have interviewed.” DiGenova says the investigation has been “underway for some time” and involves the Clinton Foundation, “which includes Uranium One and its various transactions.” DiGenova notes

One of the things that motivated my old friend Andrew Breitbart was his righteous indignation at being called a racist. That’s a running theme in his book, Righteous Indignation. “Andrew Breitbart despised racism,” his friend Ben Shapiro told me. “He took pride in rejecting racism and fighting it tooth and nail. He saw it as a form of bullying. Nothing devastated him more personally than being maligned as racist.” He would also advise conservatives not to be deterred if their opponents on the left unfairly called them racists — something he rightly believed happened all the time. There are two ways to guarantee you’ll lose a statewide election in Texas: campaign for abortion or campaign against guns. Texas Democrats accomplished the first in 2014, when Wendy Davis lost the governor’s race to Greg Abbott by 20 points. Now they’re determined to do the second. Beto O’Rourke, the photogenic Democratic congressman from El Paso hoping to unseat Republican Sen. Democrats dream of turning Texas into a blue state, thereby cementing the far left’s hold on America for the foreseeable future. They hope to make progress toward that goal this year, and they were counting on a blue wave of enraged liberals to emerge in Tuesday’s primaries as a harbinger of victory in November. They even hope that their man Beto O’Rourke can drive Ted Cruz out of the Senate. But no such blue wave emerged on Tuesday. True, just over one million votes were cast in the Democratic Senate primary, which O’Rourke won with 62% of the vote. But well

Axios has just released a fascinating poll of the swing-state Senate races in this year’s midterm elections, and in several key contests, generic Republican candidates appear to have the edge over incumbent Democrats. The poll surveys voters’ attitudes toward incumbent Democratic senators up for reelection this cycle in the ten states that Donald Trump won in November 2016: Montana, West Virginia Missouri, Indiana, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. In half of these states, the GOP candidate leads the current Democratic senator, and, amazingly, in four out of five of those states, the Republican candidate goes unnamed, because no front-runner

That big Blue Wave that is supposed to carry Democrats to victory in the fall general election may be building, but on Tuesday it looked far more like a wave pool than a tsunami. With candidates in almost all congressional races and in most parts of Texas this year, the Democrats certainly showed enthusiasm, driving more voters to the polls than in any non-presidential year primary since 2002. Their early vote numbers outpaced the Republicans and surpassed their own primary early vote in the presidential contest of 2016.
