Why Trump actually could
succeed with North Korea

American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

Barack Obama wasn´t kidding when he warned his successor that North Korea is the biggest national security threat the U.S. faces. "No good options" has been the mantra of the deep thinkers, as if we have no choice but to let the Kim dynasty threaten the world with nuclear war from now on. But Donald Trump has never been bound by conventional thinking and brings a healthy skepticism to the pronouncements of the experts who have failed for the past three decades. Here is a short list of what he is doing differently, and why he might even succeed. First of all,

Great analysis. Also check out the link to Scott Adams´ blog. Adams is able to explain the way Trump operates better than anyone else. There´s certainly no mainstream journalist that has a clue.

Kim had better understand that Trump isn´t Clinton,Bush or BO.
You make a deal with Trump & then break it you will pay.
Trump will parade the deal before our allies & the world. He´ll get them to agree it´s a good deal.
It´s a trap for both because Kim breaks it & the others will be told that now Kim must go & if you don´t go along America will do it & blame them for not standing up to Kim,again.
Thus Trump is left with no choice.
Unless the Chicoms would like to kill Kim themselves?

While no guarantees, the odds are in Trump´s favor. Kimmie understands what happened to Ceasceascu in Romania, Hitler in Germany, and Hussein in Iraq among others. He knows his inner circle and his people hate his guts. And starting to sense the end is near.

If he wants to live, suggest he review the treaty I circulated the other day and get it the President asap.

Make the Fat Kid an offer he can´t refuse. He is already really worried and backed into a corner.
I also bet he has NO deliverable nuclear weapons, other than perhaps in a truck or a ship.

"the biggest upside is watching all those progressive and leftist heads explode."

Can you imagine 2020 with a roaring economy, minorities well employed, record high household worth, manufacturing boosts providing union jobs, ISIS crushed, NK subdued, immigration tamed, far better trade deals in place, and who knows what else (maybe a couple of BO´s minions in jail)?

Can you imagine dems trotting out Crazy Uncle Joe Biden, Mad Max, some of their Hard Left maniacs, and other disastrous loons?

Dems should consider Hari Kari now and beat the rush! Of course that was considered an honorable death and dems have no honor.

Don’t rule out the possibility that the White House leak that set the media aflame in foolish suppositions this week came from Mr. Trump himself. That would be the leak saying he ignored his staff’s advice not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his sham election victory. After all, who delights in letting us know that he defies the advice of his establishment advisers? Who believes and has told us repeatedly that his personal-relationship prowess is the solution to America’s toughest problems? And who put the call to Mr. Putin on his schedule in the first place? Let’s pause here to say

Evangelicals and Christians are now under intense public pressure to condemn one particular adulterer. Weirdly, this pressure comes from many of the same people who normally cleave to a one-verse New Testament (“Judge not, lest ye be judged!”). But in the wake of potential revelations about the president, these formerly “non-judgmental” observers are suddenly joining the howling, rock-hurling mob. Here we ordinary folk are, minding our own businesses (gun stores and wedding cake bakeries and such), when suddenly we find NeverTrumpers on one hand, and the Left on the other, eagerly pressing stones into our palms. Then they wait in gleeful

In the last year, or so, Jordan Peterson, the University of Toronto clinical psychologist turned internet sensation, has emerged as arguably the most important intellectual figure on the right today. His new book, 12 Rules for Life, is No. 1 on Amazon. New York Times columnist David Brooks has called this “The Jordan Peterson moment,” and The Atlantic’s Conor Friedersdorf has puzzled over why liberal interviewers don’t seem to hear what he is saying. As you might expect, controversy has followed, most recently having to do with a negative review about his book. In response to a New York Review

The firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe days before his retirement was a rare case of justice. Both the Justice Department inspector general and the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility found that “McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor—including under oath—on multiple occasions.” Even one Democratic politician conceded that McCabe’s firing “may have been justified.” But in the federal bureaucracy, very few people who deserve to be fired actually are. Firing government employees is an onerous process. It requires investigations, counseling sessions, appeals, union arbitrations, and court hearings, all of which can take years. Managers are

A sickening act of youth violence in Florida glinted across the news headlines last week, and then disappeared from view. There will be no CNN town halls or student walkouts over the lost life and preventable tragedy, because there are no guns to blame. Only dropped balls. As the exploiters of crisis know full well, bureaucratic screw-ups don´t make good fodder for partisan fundraisers and hipster T-shirts. According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Palm Beach County police, 17-year-old Corey Johnson bought a knife last Sunday and brought it with him to a sleepover at longtime friend Kyle Bancroft´s house.

President Obama used his executive powers to attack industries to lower the value of certain companies, allowing his friends in the private sector to swoop in and buy them up at reduced prices, according to Peter Schweizer’s new book Secret Empires: How Our Politicians Hide Corruption and Enrich Their Families and Friends. The book, released Tuesday, said Obama and his administration would deem industries either destructive to the environment or exploitative for the financial and professional gain of his friends, including industries such as coal mining, offshore drilling, cash advance companies, and for-profit colleges. The officer who confronted the Maryland school shooter Tuesday was identified as 34-year-old Blaine Gaskill, a veteran sheriff’s deputy with SWAT training. A six-year St. Mary’s County sheriff’s deputy, Gaskill worked as a school resource officer at Great Mills High School since August. He’s credited with stopping gunman Austin Wyatt Rollins, who shot a 16-year-old female student he’d had a prior relationship with, authorities said. A 14-year-old male student also was injured. Gaskill and Rollins, 17, fired a shot at exactly the same time – and it’s unclear whether Rollins committed suicide or died from Gaskill’s bullet. Rollins later died

Friday night was a big night for news hawks. And I´m not talking about the upset victory of the UMBC Retrievers over the they-should-have-been-50-points-ahead UVa Cavaliers. Things like that sometimes happen when skill and determination beat odds-makers and reputation. I´m talking about the firing of Andrew McCabe, who doubtless acted under the impression that rigging things at the FBI for Hillary Clinton was the path to higher office and glory. Late Friday night, McCabe, the former deputy director and then acting director of the FBI, was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a statement that reads as follows:
