Trump’s longtime personal assistant
fired over security issues

New York Post, by Lia Eustachewich

President Trump’s longtime personal assistant was fired and escorted out of the White House on Monday over security issues, according to multiple reports. John McEntee was canned over issues with his security clearance and because he’s currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes, sources told CNN. The investigation is not related to Trump, the sources added. McEntee was one of Trump’s longest-serving aides for the past three years, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first broke the news. McEntee was not allowed to collect his belongings when he was escorted from White House

DHS, FBI and Shumer, Pelosi others are working hard to make it impossible to staff this administration.

No idea who this guy is but the story implies he is in for huge legal bills and disgrace regardless of merits of allegations.

Lawfare is designed to intimidate and bankrupt those with temetity to disagree with the Left.

FTA, "Minutes after his firing, McEntee was hired by Trump’s reelection campaign as a senior adviser for campaign operations."

Don´t know anything about this guy but this revelation throws his "firing" in a different light.

There is a difference between working in the West Wing of the White House and working in a presidential election campaign. They must have found something during his background investigation that is conducted on all employees at the White House that he did not own up to when he filled out security clearance forms, and could amount to a drug conviction years ago when he was in college. Who knows?

Obviously there is also a big difference in working at the White House for Trump and working there for the previous administration. The liberal media is making sure that double standard remains in force.

LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles City Council Friday is considering a motion that would enact a plan to provide housing for every transient in the city, as it continues to grapple with a housing shortage which has spiked rents and sent thousands of people into homelessness. The motion, introduced last month by Councilmen Mike Bonin and Marqueece Harris-Dawson, says there is little evidence that anything is being done to create or improve shelters for the homeless in the city and that a true sense of emergency is needed to deal with the problem. Roseanne Barr told Jimmy Kimmel on a recent “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” segment that yes, indeed, she voted for Donald Trump for president — and she did so because the left went so far left that it left even liberals like her buzzing. It’s such fun when liberals turn on their own, even when the tone is joking. Here’s how it went down, hat tip to the Blaze for noting: Kimmel opened discussions by pointing out Roseanne’s new show, a reboot of the old, includes political discussions that are fiery and divided, even among family members.Barr agreed, but said the show

Every few months, Republicans behave stupidly, causing their voters to again ask themselves, "Why vote Republican?" Supporting congressional Republicans seems an exercise in futility – Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown, ready to kick a conservative field goal, only to have Lucy pull the football away at the last second. I have asked this question several times on these pages. We all know the words to the Republican song we have heard every two years for the past decade. Just days after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which killed 17 people, students-turned-activists echoed the words “never again” and “not one more,” pushing lawmakers for increased gun control and better school safety. Many of the Parkland students, who have primarily taken to social media to champion these issues, have met with President Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., among others to demand action. One shooting survivor Cameron Kasky, a junior at the high school, wrote an op-ed about his experience, demanding Congress to take action. Other Parkland shooting survivors have organized events. Ending congressional investigations pending for years, the House Ethics Committee on Thursday determined that, in separate cases, U.S. Reps. Luis Gutierrez and Bobby Rush, Illinois Democrats, violated House rules and ordered payments made to the U.S. Treasury. The Rush reviews had been prompted by a Better Government Association / Chicago Sun-Times investigation of the congressman’s paying zero rent on a campaign office in the Lake Meadows strip mall on the South Side for 20 years. The 10-member House ethics panel — evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats — also handed Rush and Gutierrez each a public reprimand called a “reproval.”

This is a story that will not die easily, because there are actual dots that connect and lead – or give the appearance to leading – to the Clinton Global Initiative and Hillary Clinton´s secretary of state office. The Uranium One scandal is a kickback, bribery, and corruption affair that sent several Russian and American officials in the uranium industry to jail. But the connection between the Russians and the Clinton Foundation has always interested investigators because you can draw a line from Russian donations to the foundation and the decision to sell the Uranium One mining company to Russia.
