CIA chief Pompeo

President Trump has ousted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and plans to nominate CIA Director Mike Pompeo to replace him as the nation’s top diplomat, orchestrating a major change to his national security team amid delicate negotiations with North Korea, White House officials said Tuesday. Trump last Friday asked Tillerson to step aside, and the embattled diplomat cut short his trip to Africa on Monday to return to Washington. Pompeo will replace him at the State Department, and Gina Haspel — the deputy director at the CIA — will succeed him at the CIA, becoming the first woman to run the spy

Tillerson was unable to break the Deep State stranglehold at State.
Pompeo is a tough guy, and should be asble to take over in spite of the Deep State.
Pompeo also, I would hope, cooperate with congressional requests for information.

When President Trump announced Tillerson´s appointment, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
However, he just didn´t seem to have enough spunk to get things done.

The best description of Tillerson that I heard today was from Robert Charles, a very impressive guy who was an Assistant Secretary of State during the W administration.

I said that Tillerson’s “incrementalism” would not be sufficiently effective at this point.

If I were running a country I would tolerate - even encourage - dissent in a meeting where issues were being hashed out, but once I made a decision I would have little patience with anyone who ran out and talked about how he’d do it differently. In retrospect, Tillerson emphasized their differences, which turned out to be deal-killers.

The Mainstream Media largely created the anti-gun rights walkouts being staged today so it’s no surprise they are covering them both breathlessly and lovingly as thousands of school kids snicker and preen for their own social media accounts while accomplishing little beyond being allowed to skip class. Meanwhile, there are thousands of other schools and millions of other students who feel school is for learning, not taxpayer-funded protest movements. The media isn’t covering them though because it doesn’t fit their narrative. (Photo)The above is from a high school in Illinois today where students gave a big middle finger to the

The study, published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, argues that there’s no such thing as a “straight” man or woman. Rather, people operate on a spectrum. Researchers showed men and women different kinds of pornographic material. Rather than relying on self-reporting, the study looked at physiological responses to the sexual material.
