A Canadian journalist has become the third so-called anti-Muslim activist accused of racism to be barred from Britain in just 72 hours. Border guards quizzed Lauren Southern for six hours in Calais where she was preparing to come to the UK to interview English Defence League co-founder Tommy Robinson. It is understood the 22-year-old was hauled in for questioning over concerns surrounding an incident last month in Luton where she is accused of distributing racist material in the form of Islamic posters. Islam is a race? Regardless, Muslims espousing death to the Queen and to the West in general are given generous welfare benefits, while those who point out the incompatibility of Islam with the West are branded ultra right-wingers whose presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good.

The Brits have never been able stand folks saying things they don´t like.

Same as 1776, no freedom in their royal system.

Glad we sent them packing 242 years ago.

I wouldn´t be a bit surprised muslims are pretty much running things in many levels of British administration, hence the actions against anti-muslim speakers.

Lake Wales, Fla. — A Florida sheriff says a 16-year-old boy who apparently was jealous that another teen was in a relationship with a girl he liked, invited the boy to smoke marijuana in the woods before bludgeoning him to death with a baseball bat. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a news conference Tuesday that Dillen Murray beat 15-year-old Giovanni Diaz in the face and head Monday afternoon. The Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn has canceled a controversial NRA fundraiser after criticism of the event from local leaders and neighbors, a report said Monday. The famed Park Slope catering establishment — known for its decades-old tag line, “We’ll make your dreams come true” — had agreed to host the “Second-Annual Brooklyn Friends of the NRA” fundraiser after the group had been turned away from a spot at Coney Island. “My good friends, the schools in the area, and other people, the Park Slopians, want me to do the right thing by them. Albany — Actress Cynthia Nixon on Monday made it official — she is challenging Gov. Cuomo in this year’s Democratic primary. “I love New York, and today I’m announcing my candidacy for governor,” Nixon said on Twitter. The message was accompanied by a more than two minute video. "I love New York,” the “Sex And the City” star said. “I never wanted to live anywhere else. But something has to change. “We want our government to work again on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway.” And while she never mentioned Cuomo by name in the video, she took a shot at the

A prominent Republican says that Donald Trump would doom his presidency if he fires special counsel Robert Mueller. Sen Lindsey Graham, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union”, said that Mr Mueller is following the evidence where it takes him as he investigates Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. Getting rid of Mr Mueller, the senator said, would be a step too far. “If he tried to do that, that would be the beginning of the end of his presidency, because we´re a rule of law nation,” Mr Graham said. ”I think it´s very important he be allowed to do

James Kallstrom is no joke. With nearly thirty years in the FBI, several of them as the Assistant Director, Kallstrom knows how the agency functions far more than most. So when he says there was a plot to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution and to illegally influence the 2016 Election people should pay attention. Kallstrom goes on to call the entirety of the FBI investigation against Donald Trump completely phony. Maria Bartiromo’s own take appears very much to compliment Mr. Kallstrom’s assertions. The Deep State shenanigans run very deep and in 2016 are linked to the Obama White House. Barack Obama

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

Discussing cities is like talking about the knots in a net: they’re crucial, but they’re only one part of the larger story of the net and what it’s supposed to do. It makes little sense to talk about knots in isolation when it’s the net that matters. Cities are part of the system we’ve invented to keep people alive on Earth. People tend to like cities, and have been congregating in them ever since the invention of agriculture, 10,000 or so years ago. That’s why we call it civilisation. This origin story underlines how agriculture made cities possible, by providing

This made her the highest-paid anchor at NBC following Matt Lauer´s departure, but unfortunately, courting Kelly may not have been a smart investment.  Her first attempt at success, a Sunday night news magazine dubbed Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly, debuted in June 2017 and soon proved to be a flop.
