He attends elite UC Berkeley
but lives in a trailer with no heat
or sewer hookups. Soon, he´ll be
scrambling to find new shelter

Ismael Chamu wakes up at sunrise, shivering in the drizzly morning’s chill. He rises from the floor of a small trailer, where he sleeps wedged next to his younger brother and an arm’s length from his two sisters, who share the only bed. As he cooks breakfast, the smell of scrambled eggs and ripe sewage combine. There is no sewer hookup so when the storage tank is full, as it is this day, everyone holds on until they can get to a nearby gas station.

Wonderful sob story, forgets to mention that the hero is a radical leftists who was arrested for hate crimes, spray painting cars, supports antifas and has expressed virulent anti-white sentiments, none of which we´d ever know but for the comments. www.berkeleyside.com/2017/07/14/uc-berkeley-student-arrested-suspicion-hate-crime-vandalism

Here’s our hero:

Ismael Chamu and Peter Estrada, two UC Berkeley students arrested last week on charges of vandalism, were arraigned at the Wiley M. Manuel Courthouse Monday afternoon on charges of alleged felony vandalism more than $400 and misdemeanor possession of tools to commit vandalism.

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Thomas Nixon, who oversaw both arraignment hearings, reduced both Chamu and Estrada’s bail from $85,000 to $15,000 during the hearings and referred Chamu’s case to the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office. Estrada has retained a private attorney.

Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Andrew Frankel said Chamu and Estrada were arrested after BPD investigated reports of more than 30 cases of vandalism, including slashed tires and spray-painted messages that had appeared on the south side of campus.

And he gets a public defender. More taxpayer expense. Who pays for his “stylish fade haircuts”?

And why did Ismael commit 30 or more acts of vandalism on the campus of his school? He contends he was profiled by Berkeley Police as a suspected burglar. Carrying a switchblade knife. Photo with article. This piece of work should be returned to his home country, pronto!!!

Read the article. There are many more just like him...

Going to UC Berk and studying inequality?
That is a course designed to babysit rich kids and keep them out of their parents hair.
He is likely not even a citizen, and he acts like a soldier in the Reconquista war currently raging in CA.
On top of that he is a racist that hates his own race (white) so he invents a ´Mexican´ race.

"elite UC Berkeley" is hilarious. So is the fact that he sleeps arms´ length away from his sisters. But it´s all okay, once he gets that extremely valuable sociology degree he will become a fine upstanding citizen and support the entire family in the luxury that they have been taught to expect.

Not explained is what happens to the sewage in the trailer´s holding tank when it becomes full.

I know the type. The quality of minority AA students who get in to Berkeley is shocking. There are white kids who had 4.0+ GPA’s and held elective office and played on varsity teams in high school who don’t get in. I know because I went to Cal State Hayward (now East Bay) for a year as an adult and the quality of black and Hispanic students who flunked out of Stanford and Berkeley and wound up there was shockingly bad. Bad attitudes as well. Arrogant, stupid and lazy made some of the ones I remember seem quite swine like. Those schools were built by whites, based on European universities and knowledge gained in the western world. It is inhumane to expect whites to be barred from their birthrights and treated like unwanted vermin by those appropriating our culture. They are not graduating with anything like a real university degree. They are good for nothing in the real world and their anger at their own intellectual inferiority compared to others has them in to dangerous mediocrities or less. Need I say that, of course, not all of them. Some were there to get an education and contribute something of value in adulthood, worked hard and got along with others quite naturally. The press ignore them.

First of all, he was born in San Diego, so he isn´t an illegal; he´s an anchor baby.

That´s not his fault, and I won´t hold it against him. But then I got to the part of the article that states that his major is sociology, and I lost all the sympathy I had for him to that point. He´s obviously very smart, and if he wants to provide a better life for himself, his siblings, and his parents, why doesn´t he major in engineering, or accounting? Instead of a lucrative major, it´s pretty clear he wants to indoctrinate young minds in his own radical agenda.

THEN I read the comments and realized what a piece of work he really is. Why does the Union-Tribune waste bandwidth on a jerk like this? They could have selected another, much more worthy, student to prove the same point. When the media don´t tell the COMPLETE truth, they lose credibility.

Plus he had an address. The trailer we see him living in. So why couldnt he get food stamps while living there? The whole story sound bogus.

President Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally -- moving to stop the family separations that have triggered a national outcry and political crisis for Republicans. The measure would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time. This comes as congressional Republicans scramble to draft legislation to address the same issue, but face challenges mustering the votes. In signing the measure, Trump said he wants to keep families together while also enforcing border security.

President Trump on Friday morning said he would not sign a moderate immigration bill currently working its way through Congress -- although by the afternoon, the White House seemed to try walking it back, prolonging a day of confusion amid Congress´ long fight for an immigration policy overhaul. WASHINGTON -- When it comes to the Iran nuclear deal, the Obama administration increasingly appears to have been a bottomless pit of deception. First, President Barack Obama failed to disclose to Congress the existence of secret side deals on inspections when he transmitted the nuclear accord to Capitol Hill. With the U.S. Census Bureau reporting yet another year of population loss for the city, it doesn’t take an investigator to determine the causes. The city’s scary record of 343 homicides in 2017 affirms the city’s well-known reputation as a dangerous place to live. Even if 2018 has fewer homicides, it doesn’t take a fortune teller to predict that this year’s homicide rate will be high. Until the city substantially reduces its homicide and other crimes rates, people will continue to view the city as dangerous and be reluctant to stay or move here.
