Mitt Romney hit for
´liberal Massachusetts values´
in first Utah attack ad

Washington Examiner, by Tristan Justice

Original Article

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is under attack in his race to replace retiring Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, in a new ad released Thursday labeling the former Massachusetts Gov. as an establishment “flip-flopper” with “liberal Massachusetts values.” “The D.C. establishment loves Mitt Romney,” the ad narrator states. “But Utah voters have a better choice.” The ad released by right-wing primary challenger Utah attorney Larry Meyers, brings back popular lines of attack that were used during Romney’s run for the White House in the 2012 election cycle, accusing Romney of changing his position on key issues important to Republican primary voters.

If Larry Myers wins, can you imagine the message it will send to the Swamp? They would be quaking in their boots thinking about the 2020 election.

Like his father, Mitt Romney is self-righteous and liberal. His democrat views are betrayed by ceremonial attacks he makes on Republicans. And one more thing. A Utah Republican sponsored a House version of the Dream Act. Orrin Hatch introduced the Dream Act in the Senate. And Mitt Romney is an open border guy. Is there a pattern here?

Romney is neither wanted nor needed by the people in this country. He is a tool of the globalists. He had his golden opportunity during one debate with Obama and the 2012 election and he couldn´t stand up to Obama or Crowley. Trump would have eaten both alive. He started this entire Obamacare garbage. He is a big loser. Vote no on Romney, Utah.

We are weary of having liberal GOPe candidates forced down our throats. And, Romney is an ambitious two-faced back stabber. I wish he would just go away. I suspect he will win in Utah, he has all the money and name recognition he needs to do so. And he will be stabbing Mr. Trump in the back every chance he gets in exchange for a pat on the head from the media. McCain and Romney should have learned that the media is no friend of any R, ever. That´s the way it really is.

And those guys LOVE Mitt!
He is open borders.
Mormons need literal "new blood," because of in-breeding so bad that 90% of Utah Mormon natives can all trace themselves back to the same three families!
Bad as he is, Mitt is probably going to win in a landslide.
If all non-Mormons (and free-thinking Mormons) showed up and voted he´d lose, but that never happens.

Meyers could go even further back to the time Romney tried to out liberal Kennedy when he tried to run for Kennedy´s senate seat. Romney will always be one who changes his position based on whichever way the political winds are blowing. He is a chameleon, and has no political principles that he holds firm to.

That is what should make Utah voters leery of Romney. He is in it for his own self, not to serve the residents of Utah.

I said this in 2008 and it bears repeating.

If you want to run for a statewide seat in Massachusetts, you can not run as a fire breathing conservative. If your elected, you have to represent the interests of your constituents, who are largely to the left of Mao.

I´ll concede that Romney is no Reagan or Trump. Nor is he a Kennedy.

What he is, is a decent man with largely conservative views. The decency and civility is the problem.

During a lecture at the Library of Conservatism in Germany, British philosopher Sir Roger Scruton described conservatism as a philosophy that recognizes and acknowledges that good things are easily destroyed but not easily created, such as law, peace, freedom, civility, the security of property and family life. He contends we depend on the cooperation of others for the aforementioned to exist because we have no means or ability to single handedly attain it. Mitt Romney spoke out against "trade wars" on Friday after President Trump imposed tariffs on $34 billion of Chinese imports, prompting Beijing to respond with its own tariffs on U.S. goods. “Trade wars are a tax on Americans. They have severe consequences for many employers and inevitably cost Americans jobs,” the Utah GOP Senate hopeful said in a statement. Romney said trade wars are particularly punishing for agriculture, which is a sector in Utah the former GOP presidential contender said is “already under duress from wildfire, drought, and challenging public land policies.” “Our national objective should be to open new markets, negotiate free

It’s an idea that’s worked for Missouri businesses for more than 15 years and will now be available nationwide thanks to the Trump administration’s new rule expanding access to association health plans, or AHPs. At the heart of the effort to bring down President Trump were two affairs. Jordan denies knowing about the doctor’s misconduct. The question, then, isn’t what Jordan did; it’s what he knew. That’s usually a difficult kind of inquiry. In explaining her positions on the economy, Hoover asked Ocasio-Cortez “Do you think that capitalism has failed to deliver for working class Americans?” Hoover cited a currently booming US economy and low unemployment.
