Nikki Haley rips U.N. for ´bullying´ Israel´

Below is the full transcript of U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley´s powerful remarks at the AIPAC policy conference on March 5, 2018. It’s so good to see so many friends and I’m honored to be able to say that when I come to AIPAC I am with friends. You know, at the United Nations we sometimes don’t have many friends. I remember last year when we had the vote about America’s principled opposition to the Castro dictatorship in Cuba. The vote went against us 191 to 2. The only two ‘no’ votes – you guessed it – were the United States and Israel.

I like Nikki. She is the real deal, just like President Trump. With her experience as governor, UN Ambassador, and President Trump´s tutelage, she seems like a great choice for President in 2024. She is such a better choice than Herself or Pocahontas, to be the first female president!

Like her and respect her service. However, she would not stand up for the History of South Carolina. So, NO...won´t support her for any higher office...

Washington -A former Playboy model who allegedly had a nine-month affair with President Donald Trump is suing the company that kept her original account from publication, The New York Times reported Tuesday. The Times said Karen McDougal is suing to be released from an agreement mandating her silence. The report would make McDougal the latest woman to take legal action over an agreement restricting her from speaking out about an alleged relationship with the President prior to his time in government. The White House has said Trump denies the affair. Shortly before the presidential election, the Wall Street Journal published a story saying

It may be too early to say exactly what happened at Great Mills High School in Maryland, where a gunman this morning wounded two students. It’s not too soon, though, to wonder whether this will emerge as a vindication of the National Rifle Association’s Wayne LaPierre, who coined the formulation that “the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun.” The early report, which we read in USA Today, is that the attacking student who opened fire at the high school in southern Maryland injured two students shortly before classes were

It’s not just President Trump who thinks “fake news” is a problem. Even the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward is warning that some reporters are becoming “emotionally unhinged” covering President Trump and crossing over into a “tone of ridicule.” Science magazine, the peer-reviewed journal whose headlines usually run to “Random heteropolymers preserve protein function in foreign environments” or “Organometallic and radical intermediates reveal mechanism of dipthamide biosynthesis,” devoted a recent article to “The science of fake news.” It observed that “general trust in the mass media collapsed to historic lows in 2016.” The Science article was by David

A few months back, Lorena Jofre was planning to buy a condominium in Miami-Dade County to finally move into her own place with her 7-year-old daughter. Jofre, who has lived much of her life in uncertainty, also planned to exchange her old car for a new one, thanks to a better paying job. She even hoped to return to college to become a teacher or a social worker. But her plans have since drastically changed. Like many immigrants in South Florida and other parts of the country, Jofre is now taking steps to become untraceable after President Donald Trump ordered stepped up enforcement

On the morning of Wednesday, February 28, Hope Hicks arrived at the White House just after 8 a.m. Within a week, it would be snowing in Washington, D.C., but she was dressed for spring in a bouquet of purple, yellow, and blue, as if willing the end of winter with her miniskirt. She held on to her iPhone in the West Wing, in violation of a rule that normally diverted it to a locker secured by a shiny silver key, then retreated to her office, a first-floor broom closet that in the past had been assigned to presidential secretaries. For months, President Trump’s legal advisers implored him to avoid so much as mentioning the name of Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, in his tweets, and to do nothing to provoke him or suggest his investigation is not proper. Ignoring that advice over the weekend was the decision of a president who ultimately trusts only his own instincts, and now believes he has settled into the job enough to rely on them rather than the people who advise him. A dozen people close to Mr. Trump or the White House, including current and former aides and longtime friends, described him

Joe Biden and John Kerry have been pillars of the Washington establishment for more than 30 years. Biden is one of the most popular politicians in our nation’s capital. His demeanor, sense of humor, and even his friendly gaffes have allowed him to form close relationships with both Democrats and Republicans. His public image is built around his “Lunch Bucket Joe” persona. As he reminds the American people on regular occasions, he has little wealth to show for his career, despite having reached the vice presidency. One of his closest political allies in Washington is former senator and former Secretary of State

President Trump’s decision to promote Mike Pompeo to secretary of state is a huge step in the right direction. It means that, if Mr. Pompeo is confirmed, the administration will have in the top foreign policy job an officer who was first in his class at West Point, served as an officer of armor in Europe, soared at law school, mastered politics in Congress, has run the Central Intelligence Agency — and who agrees with the president. What a contrast with Secretary Tillerson. The ex-chairman of ExxonMobil had some wonderful instincts (such as his plan to cut the State Department

The San Francisco spokesman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement resigned after the agency’s recent Northern California sweep, saying he couldn’t continue to do his job after Trump administration officials made false public statements about a key aspect of the operation. James Schwab told The Chronicle on Monday that he was frustrated by repeated statements by officials, including U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, that roughly 800 undocumented immigrants escaped arrest because of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf’s Feb. 24 warning to the public about the four-day operation, issued the night before federal officers began staking out homes and knocking on doors.

The now-former spokesman, James Schwab, told news outlets late Monday that his resignation stemmed from statements by Homan and Sessions that potentially hundreds of "criminal aliens" evaded ICE during a Northern California raid in February because Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warned the immigrant community in advance. Schwab said he pushed back on that characterization - but said ICE instructed him to "deflect" questions

James Kallstrom is no joke. With nearly thirty years in the FBI, several of them as the Assistant Director, Kallstrom knows how the agency functions far more than most. So when he says there was a plot to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution and to illegally influence the 2016 Election people should pay attention. Kallstrom goes on to call the entirety of the FBI investigation against Donald Trump completely phony. Maria Bartiromo’s own take appears very much to compliment Mr. Kallstrom’s assertions. The Deep State shenanigans run very deep and in 2016 are linked to the Obama White House. Barack Obama

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

Discussing cities is like talking about the knots in a net: they’re crucial, but they’re only one part of the larger story of the net and what it’s supposed to do. It makes little sense to talk about knots in isolation when it’s the net that matters. Cities are part of the system we’ve invented to keep people alive on Earth. People tend to like cities, and have been congregating in them ever since the invention of agriculture, 10,000 or so years ago. That’s why we call it civilisation. This origin story underlines how agriculture made cities possible, by providing

After making a name for herself at Fox News, in large part thanks to her headline-making feud with Donald Trump, Megyn Kelly was courted by NBC and offered a reported $23 million per year to bring her star power to the Peacock Network. This made her the highest-paid anchor at NBC following Matt Lauer´s departure, but unfortunately, courting Kelly may not have been a smart investment.  Her first attempt at success, a Sunday night news magazine dubbed Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly, debuted in June 2017 and soon proved to be a flop. Come September, the network moved her to a daily talk
