The Resurrection of Jeff Sessions
PJ Media, by Roger L. Simon

Original Article

It´s hard for many of us always to know who our friends really are. The president of the United States appears to have more difficulty with this than most (cf. Paul Manafort). He also may be too quick to dismiss or turn on those who may ultimately be his truest friends. A case in point, although it is not yet certain, seems to be Jeff Sessions, who has been in Donald Trump´s crosshairs since the attorney general recused himself from the Russia investigation. Sessions made news this week by authorizing the Department of Justice to sue the state of California for preempting

Keep reading. He gets to the appointment of someone from outside Washington but previously with the DOJ to look into what the House Judiciary Committee sent him. He is definitely doing his job, and Simon has excellent commentary on it.

I always thought that BO´s tangled weave into the law would have a lot of unraveling to do and you don´t dive into untangling it without a lot of research.

This is all Kabuki theater at the highest level. Hopefully we´ll be happy with the result ultimately. In the meantime journalists/MSM have to write something which is only reading tea leaves.

It sounds like leniency agreements are all in place, consistent with past DoJ behavior. By the time they get done making "deals", will there be anybody left to charge? Past experience makes me say-I doubt it.

President Trump told us at the very beginning of his eight stint living in our White House that he will not telegraph his intentions or work that is being done in secret just to get some head line time.

President Trump told us that you will know when we are ready to strike when the hammer falls on the guilty. I hope and pray he didn´t speak with forked tongue.

The officer who confronted the Maryland school shooter Tuesday was identified as 34-year-old Blaine Gaskill, a veteran sheriff’s deputy with SWAT training. A six-year St. Mary’s County sheriff’s deputy, Gaskill worked as a school resource officer at Great Mills High School since August. He’s credited with stopping gunman Austin Wyatt Rollins, who shot a 16-year-old female student he’d had a prior relationship with, authorities said. A 14-year-old male student also was injured. Gaskill and Rollins, 17, fired a shot at exactly the same time – and it’s unclear whether Rollins committed suicide or died from Gaskill’s bullet. Rollins later died

LONDON, United Kingdom — Thousands of free speech enthusiasts, alongside a handful of hard-left and Islamist opposition, gathered at Speakers’ Corner in London’s Hyde Park this afternoon to hear a speech written by Generation Identity’s Martin Sellner, delivered by former EDL leader Tommy Robinson. Sellner was banned from entry by the UK government earlier this month, for daring to lead a right-wing organisation which sheds light on Islamic extremism and mass migration on the continent of Europe. Robinson — formerly of the Rebel Media — delivered the speech to thousands who gathered in the snow at the historic Speaker’s Corner,

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Waco atrocity, the bloodiest and most expensive law enforcement operation in the history of the United States. The gun battle, siege, and lethal fire have already been the subject of three commemorative documentaries and docudramas on the subject, with more to come. The sad fact is that the documentaries to date contain major errors. I know this because I spent three years in Freedom of Information Act lawsuits in a quest for the truth. The 1993 operation was begun by the then-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) and directed at a religious

Friday night was a big night for news hawks. And I´m not talking about the upset victory of the UMBC Retrievers over the they-should-have-been-50-points-ahead UVa Cavaliers. Things like that sometimes happen when skill and determination beat odds-makers and reputation. I´m talking about the firing of Andrew McCabe, who doubtless acted under the impression that rigging things at the FBI for Hillary Clinton was the path to higher office and glory. Late Friday night, McCabe, the former deputy director and then acting director of the FBI, was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a statement that reads as follows:

Isaac Newton was a genius—perhaps the most intelligent man ever to walk this earth. It was he who uncovered the laws of motion, he who unraveled light’s mysteries, and he who first invented calculus. His work underpins modern mathematics, physics, and engineering. And yet Newton lost his entire fortune in the South Sea Bubble—the 18th century’s great stock market crash. Newton was dreadfully overconfident. He thought his genius in mathematics would make him a genius investor. He was wrong. He had no idea what he was doing, and he paid the price. That Newton made this mistake is unsurprising: expertise,

James Kallstrom is no joke. With nearly thirty years in the FBI, several of them as the Assistant Director, Kallstrom knows how the agency functions far more than most. So when he says there was a plot to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution and to illegally influence the 2016 Election people should pay attention. Kallstrom goes on to call the entirety of the FBI investigation against Donald Trump completely phony. Maria Bartiromo’s own take appears very much to compliment Mr. Kallstrom’s assertions. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it
