Saudi Crown Prince shocks Islamists
with bold moves in Egypt

American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

It is hard to overstate the significance of a hugely symbolic move by the reformist Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman (MbS). American media mostly are clueless about religion, and lack any understanding of the momentous changes underway on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the full support of the Trump administration. The fact that MbS is reputed to be close to Jared Kushner seals the deal (snip) This picture, with MbS under a picture of Jesus and meeting with the Coptic Pope, is a potent symbol of where the winds are blowing in the former home and

Comments:
Islamism rose on a tide of Saudi money. That tide is receding, and MbS is showing the Muslim world that the days of violent confrontation are over.

The radical Wahabbi Islamist movement grew under OPEC. Today, the toothless OPEC can only "gum" the world to death with threats of price increases. Everything ties to OIL, not politics. Money makes the world go round, not people.

Saudi Arabia knows almost every nation in the world has ready access to oil and/or gas, even Israel. There are few countries that DON´T have oil/gas within their border or water rights. Now that the USA is again the top exporter, the b-tards are playing nice.

I agree to a point here. The globalists are certainly the ones who have been shocked by this. From things I have read, some of the purged Saudis were funding things through our own Deep State during previous administrations.

If Trump is inspiring the Saudis to purge the globalist corruption from their midst, all the more power to him and to them.

I am thinking too that that purge eliminated a whole bunch of the friends of the Bush Clan from their positions. That had to have hurt the Bushes deeply. But I could not care less about the whimperings of globalist and corrupted dynasties.

Amazing piece. That picture of the prince under the image of Jesus is worth a million words. Obama wouldn´t be photographed without covering any of the Christian symbols while at Notre Dame. That has to place Obama squarely in the Wahabbis´ camp.

A primary factor in this is that the Saudi Crown Prince fears Iran, big time! The Saudis are not capable of meeting a military offensive by them and Iran wants to rule the Middle East. We are good buddies because the Prince wants us to have his back!

The Wahhabi sect of Islam, created in Saudi Arabia 150 years ago and brought to the forefront when it´s primary adherents, the Saud family, wound up ruling Arabia, is currently one of the most virulent, fundamentalist and conquest oriented version of Islam, harkening back to the most violent past of Islam.

If this new Saudi leader is going to undo the damnable Wahhabi insanity, which has been largely responsible for driving a lot of the most destructive tendencies of Islam to the forefront, and funding the terrorists with oil billions, this could be huge.

Unfortunately, in Turkey, where Ataturk moved Turkey forward into a relatively modern and secular country after the WW1 fall of the Ottoman empire, the evil Islamist thug Erdogan is now busily undoing a century of advancement and pushing Islamist hatred as the official line in Turkey.

All the signs are that the new Saudi leadership is doing a change as huge as Ataturk did in Turkey, much to the benefit of Turkey, and the whole world. Let´s hope that this new Saudi king lives long and is successful in defusing the most violent forms of Islam.

If Jared Kushner has a hand in making this work, he may be doing the best thing that has been done in the middle east in a century and a half. Certainly, it looks like the new Saudi king is a fundamental change for the better.

"Judge hands defeat to Trump and Cohen," blares the headline. Kimba Wood...Kimba Wood...where have I heard that name before? Well, look at this. She was Bill Clinton´s second choice to be attorney general, after the Zoe Baird nomination blew up. Kimba´s blew up, too, because she forgot to tell the White House she had employed an illegal as a nanny. Is this amazingly great luck for the Mueller-U.S. attorney tag team or what? But don´t be downhearted. Judge Wood has it all doped out: "I have faith in the Southern District U.S. Attorney´s office that their integrity is unimpeachable," Judge Wood said. Remember

I restrained myself from commenting on the suicide to protest global warming of “famed gay rights lawyer” David Buckel for the last two days because, quite frankly, my first reactions were inappropriate laughter at what must be regarded as a human tragedy. “What was the carbon footprint of dousing himself in flammables and releasing into the atmosphere all the carbon in a carbon-based life form?” was the first thought I had. But after all, this is a human being, so I hesitated to mock. After some reflection, I see that this is a tragedy the Greek sense of the word,

The day that James Comey cashed the multi-million dollar advance check from MacMillan Publishers will turn out to mark the date that we can call “Peak Comey.” It was all downhill from the instant the ink started drying on his signature on the back of the check. If Special Counsel Robert Mueller believed he had actionable grounds to suspect Pres. Trump of some crime that Mueller was authorized to investigate, he should have raided Trump´s home and offices, not the offices of Trump´s attorney, Michael Cohen. When Mueller seized Cohen´s records, he was seizing privileged information between a lawyer and not only his one client, Donald Trump, but also such privileged information from Cohen and all his clients. Mueller was not only doing potentially serious damage to Cohen´s profession, but also violating a bedrock principle – client-attorney confidentiality – on which our legal system stands. When Pres.
