Ex-FEC chief lawyer: Trump attorney

The former chief lawyer for the Federal Election Commission said that Michael Cohen’s public statement confirming that he “facilitated” a $130,000 statement to a porn star in the closing weeks of the 2016 election may have been a “colossal screwup” that raises the chances that the agency could launch a formal investigation. In the Friday episode of “Skullduggery,” a Yahoo News podcast, Lawrence Noble, who served for 13 years as the FEC’s general counsel, said Cohen’s statement could “ramp up” pressure on the agency to act — especially if the porn star, who goes by the name Stormy Daniels, now confirms

Isn´t this the kind of culture the liberals defended in Bill Clinton? All I ever heard during the Monica Lewinsky scandal was that it was Bill Clinton´s personal life.

Please refer to the "culture" article in the must reads. . .

Hey, remember the "2 consenting adults" mantra coming from the Clintonites after Bill used a cigar as a sex toy with an intern? There is a BIG difference between an employer taking advantage of an intern, which is the definition of the #metoo movement, and a known swinger like Trump making sexy time with women who sell their sexyness for cameras. That is the other end of "2 consenting adults".

So having failed to get President Trump through the Not So Special Counsel, the FBI, CIA, Department of Injustice, the Swamp will now try to use the Federal Election Commission to go after him.

The war against our Republic will continue on another front.

Lot´s of if this, if that in the article. As annoying and distracting as all of the constant lawsuits and attacks must be for our President (and I can´t see how they could not be detrimental to America) the one silver lining is that fortunes in Leftist $$$$ are being drained away in some of these efforts, although, in blue states, the taxpayers are often picking up the tab. btw, it´s just bizarre watching some not so rich states joining in some of these lawsuits.

It´s going to get worse. I was at a party yesterday -- yes, with all of the identity politics groups you would expect to find in Philadelphia. People don´t want to listen. It´s just, "Trump got caught yesterday with those indictmnets." "Yesterday proves Trump colluded," and on and on. You can´t argue with them. Logic and reason mean nothing. Even a tax cut didn´t sway them: "Yes, he just increased the deficit." I tried my best, but was insulted, shamed in front of group, and called an idiot, among other things. Leaving in a huff would have been a victory for them, so I stood my ground, but was left isolated. I need to learn when and where to pick my battles. My point is not "woe is me." It is that the level of anger, bitterness and hate is rising exponentially.

How about nabbing Madam Broomstick for violating federal election laws?

The media will attempt to convict Mr. Trump in the media and ruin him, hoping the demonrat socialists will elect those who would have a legal position to try and remove him.

WE are now on to this, but the ´skulls full of much´ who are more interested in their technology are completely self-absorbed and illiterate in these matters.

NYPD sex-crime detectives once had to hide a woman accusing Harvey Weinstein of assault — stashing her away from both the movie mogul’s lawyers and his cronies in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, a report said Friday.Investigators told New York magazine that they had Weinstein dead to rights in 2015 after he allegedly groped Italian model Ambra Battilana in his office. That was until Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr., whose office had close ties to Weinstein’s legal team, chose not to prosecute in a decision that still irks investigators who worked the case, according to the mag.

Illegal immigration, sidelined by the so-called “Trump effect” in the past year, is likely to surge 70 percent this year as undocumented aliens try to get into the United States before the president’s border wall is constructed and to take advantage of the booming economy, according to a leading expert. “We forecast total apprehensions and inadmissables across the southwest U.S. border at 590,000 for calendar year 2018. This would be the second highest year since 2010,” said Steven Kopits, president of Princeton Policy Advisors in New Jersey.
