Sharyl Attkisson Explains the Origins of
the 2016 ´Fake News´ Narrative in TedX Talk

PJ Media, by Deborah Heine

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 2/16/2018 5:51:01 AM

In a Tedx Talk at the University of Nevada a couple of weeks ago (watch the video below) investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson revealed the origins of the "fake news" narrative that was aggressively pushed by the liberal media and Democrat politicians during the 2016 election, and how it was later flipped by President Donald Trump. Attkisson pointed out that "fake news" in the form of tabloid journalism and false media narratives has always been around under different names. But she noticed that in 2016, there seemed to be a concerted effort by the MSM to focus America´s attention on the idea of

Hillary and Obama-enabler Eric Schmidt is an evil Thomas Edison. His monsterpiece of manipulation —Google — long ago became a Frankenstein fraud factory to spy on and lie to its users, suppress speech it doesn’t like, and pump out progressive propaganda to the masses.

"Fake news" is nothing new. It used to be called such as "Yellow Journalism", and media giants such as Greeley, Hearst and now those like Disney Corp. (CNN, ESPN, etc.) are following those footsteps with more technology than these others could imagine. What we do not have is an honest and truthful outlet. (Fox ain´t it either, folks.) What we get is largely propaganda designed to feed the need of ideologues rather than inform citizens usefully. 99% of the rubbish is wholly taken from press releases, bogus "studies", point-of-view push polls, or plain political hackery. And Attkisson is right on about those "trying to help" are indeed trying to cause thinking humans into their own pit of misery.

Stormy Daniels describes her

A week and a half before the 2016 election, Donald Trump´s personal attorney paid a porn star named Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about her alleged relationship with the Republican candidate for president. Today, that arrangement is well on its way to becoming the most talked-about "hush agreement" in history, with potential legal and political implications for the president. Through his spokesman, Mr. Trump has denied having an affair with Stormy Daniels, and his lawyers are now threatening her with financial ruin, saying she has to pay $1 million dollars every time she violates her agreement to stay silent. “Confused and Distracted”: McCabe Uses Flynn
Defense Against False Statement Allegation

Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe penned an op-ed for The Washington Post to contest the allegation of his “lack of candor” with federal investigators. I have been writing (here and here and here) on the contrast between the treatment of McCabe and former national security adviser Michael Flynn. McCade has been erroneously portrayed as “losing his pension” but has not been charged. Flynn was charged and accepted a plea deal under 18 U.S.C. 1001 for making a false statement to investigators. Now McCabe is raising virtually the same defense that did not work for Flynn: that there was a

PALM BEACH, Fla. — President Trump decamped to his oceanfront estate here on Friday after a head-spinning series of presidential decisions on national security, trade and the budget that left the capital reeling and his advisers nervous about what comes next. The decisions attested to a president riled up by cable news and unbound. Mr. Trump appeared heedless of his staff, unconcerned about Washington decorum, or the latest stock market dive, and confident of his instincts. He seemed determined to set the agenda himself, even if that agenda looked like a White House in disarray.

NYPD sex-crime detectives once had to hide a woman accusing Harvey Weinstein of assault — stashing her away from both the movie mogul’s lawyers and his cronies in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, a report said Friday.Investigators told New York magazine that they had Weinstein dead to rights in 2015 after he allegedly groped Italian model Ambra Battilana in his office. That was until Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr., whose office had close ties to Weinstein’s legal team, chose not to prosecute in a decision that still irks investigators who worked the case, according to the mag.

Illegal immigration, sidelined by the so-called “Trump effect” in the past year, is likely to surge 70 percent this year as undocumented aliens try to get into the United States before the president’s border wall is constructed and to take advantage of the booming economy, according to a leading expert. “We forecast total apprehensions and inadmissables across the southwest U.S. border at 590,000 for calendar year 2018. This would be the second highest year since 2010,” said Steven Kopits, president of Princeton Policy Advisors in New Jersey.
