Air Force Academy First Sergeant
Reprimanded For Telling Cadets
To Dress Properly

Daily Caller, by Ryan Pickrell

Progressive social justice trends appear to be creeping into the Air Force Academy, as an academy first sergeant was reprimanded for instructing cadets to maintain a professional appearance, emails reveal. “Observations made by USAFA [United States Air Force Academy] permanent party members regarding cadet grooming standards have become increasingly unfavorable,” First Sergeant Zachary Parish apparently wrote in a leaked email to cadets. “Going forward, I expect you all to do your part in reversing negative perceptions about cadet personal appearance that circulates USAFA and diminishes your credibility as a member in the profession of arms.” The first sergeant then advised

NO! This is just outrageous! It´s bad enough that the maniacs are destroying everything in their paths in every segment of society, now their focus is the military First it was transgenders, that Communist at West Point who wore the Che shirt, etc. That cadet who wore the Che shirt had ´communism will win´ written on the inside of his cap! The leaders in the military had better get back their spines because this is outrageous. Remember the evil hack Obama purged the military of hundreds of those who didn´t march to his Marxist ideology.

Contd. FTA: "The first sergeant then advised the cadets in his charge to be like Mike. Before Michael Jordan became a clothing brand mogul, he was actually pretty good professional basketball player,” Parish wrote, “In the later years of his career, and before the NBA’s dress code existed, he would consistently appear at press conferences in a suit and tie. He was never seen with a gaudy chain around his neck, his pants below his waistline, or with a backwards baseball hat on during public appearances.”

FTA: "A colonel then embarrassed the first sergeant publicly, accusing Parish of committing “microaggressions. On behalf of all [Cadet Wing] Sr Leadership and permanent party members, let me apologize for the email sent earlier today by our First Sergeant,” Col. Julian Stephens wrote to cadets. He called the comments “disrespectful, derogatory, and unprofessional,” he promised to address this microaggression immediately."

This shameful display of ´leadership´ is absolutely sickening. Unfortunately I cannot find any information anywhere related to Col. Stephens to give us more insight on him.. Obviously he is from the Obama school of thought.

Full Colonels are political animals. They have to learn to kiss a** and pretend they don’t have brown lips. I’m not sure if this officer needs a jock strap or a bra. And if that offends somebody.......then imagine the Hawaiian good luck sign directed at you.

That is a disgrace to every single PROPER military person. The commandant should know better than to publicly reprimand the First Sargent. That is demeaning to the office of First Sargent.
I learned in leadership school that if you have a beef with one of your petty officers you call him aside and have a talk with him.
By making the Sargent issue an apology he has been basically castrated in front of the cadets.
I know if I was him, I´d be seriously looking at putting in my papers, take the retirement money and leave. Being very sure to shake the dust from his boots as he walked out the gate.

I did find the link below that may explain this. It relates to the then Maj. Julian Stephens, the air officer commanding for Cadet Squadron 14 and a liaison for the Hubert L. "Hooks" Jones Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen Inc. In that article he states:

"It was the least I could do for what the Tuskegee Airmen did for me as an African American," said Stephens, a 1996 Academy graduate and native of Sandusky, Ohio. "The barriers they broke down and the things they had to deal with well overshadow anything we have to deal with today."

I´m surprised he was offended by any reference to Michael Jordan. I guess the reference to the ´gaudy chain around his neck, his pants below his waistline, or with a backwards baseball hat´ triggered his “microaggressions. Someone seriously needs to set him straight.

Colonel. This is only proving to me that there can be no peace amongst races under liberalism. Liberalism is a cancer.

The name Parish is legendary in AF senior NCO circles. Probably not related to the original, but the name itself wields massive influence; certainly more than some pantywaist colonel.
I bet the good colonel ends up commanding some very remote arctic site.

Ok I am Army, but leadership should not be too different between services. You never criticize a subordinate in public. Never. Praise in public and eat out in private. This clown by this action has destroyed a very important pillar of the Academy. He or she should be relived and possibly subjected to disciplinary action.

Only forty-some years ago, "climate science" suddenly turned from advancing a theory of global cooling to one of global warming. A 123-page paper by Christopher Booker, published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF), explains this sudden change in terms of a "groupthink" belief system formulated and perpetuated by a few strong personalities. Through key positions, and with sympathetic lobbyist groups, the theory overwhelmed politics during its formative years in the 1970s from its center in various United Nations agencies until its unraveling began in the late 1990s. Discussing cities is like talking about the knots in a net: they’re crucial, but they’re only one part of the larger story of the net and what it’s supposed to do. It makes little sense to talk about knots in isolation when it’s the net that matters. Cities are part of the system we’ve invented to keep people alive on Earth. People tend to like cities, and have been congregating in them ever since the invention of agriculture, 10,000 or so years ago. That’s why we call it civilisation. This origin story underlines how agriculture made cities possible, by providing
