17 dead in Florida high school

A former student opened fire at a South Florida high school Wednesday afternoon, killing 17 people and wounding at least a dozen others at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the city of Parkland, officials said. The suspected gunman, Nikolas Cruz, 19, was quickly arrested "without incident" in nearby Coral Springs, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said. Officials think he acted alone. Cruz had been expelled from the school for disciplinary problems and had made "disturbing" posts on social media before the attack, Israel said. "It´s a horrific situation. It´s just a horrible day for us," said Broward County Public Schools Supt.

There needs to be an armed policeman at every school in America. We have them in our schools and there have been no incidences. They are professional and interact with the students very well. Plus, they keep an eye on other potential explosive situations like a fight that might break out. All-in-all it´s worth it to protect our kids.

This is a leftist progressive county. They will never put an armed policeman or arm the teachers to protect the students. They want all the legal guns confiscated.

Let´s face it. If we really want to solve this kind of problem.

1. Revive the Death Penalty for all who kill for personal gain or pleasure. Include rape and cartel-level drug dealing in it. Take them out before they can take any more of us out, or ruin more lives. Also leave this option open for repeat offenders in any violent crime, or fraud that affects multiple victims. There is no reason to tolerate these people.
2. Reintroduce Civics at High School level. Have them taught by veterans who have seen combat or served so many terms. Include a firearms course as part of the class. You don´t pass, you don´t graduate.
3. Commit the government to some oversight of college/university instruction. Do not permit professors with questionable loyalties to teach. If you aren´t loyal to this country, leave.
4. Encourage traditional marriage and family.
Dump all this progressive crap that attacks these time-honored values.
5. Teaching sexuality is between parents and offspring. Health is one thing. Teaching/demonstrating/involving sex with minors should be up there with the execute option.
6. Control borders and immigration. You don´t have a country without them. Which is what these globalists are aiming for.

7. According to the Constitution, the Congress is responsible for all laws passed and all monies spent. Yet we have multitudes of non-elected officials who write regulations with the force of law, without this ever going across a congressman´s desk. Make them responsible. Not a single regulation should ever be enacted unless it sees the Congressional oversight of House and Senate. Nor should any current regulation be enforced without it. EVERYONE in government MUST be accountable. Ideally, every government employee should be subject to review and replacement every time an election happens. you know: serve at the pleasure/discretion of... This includes the FBI and CIA. New Administration - if the President feels its warranted, he can throw out everyone in the Executive Branch and replace them.

This is necessary, until we have an honorable generation to entrust the future of the country to, again.

Liberals have insisted that all kids be in the same public school. It will not be popular with the diversity crowd, but some kids need to be kept out of the regular public schools. And we need to admit that as schools have gotten larger and larger, that they have gotten worse in many ways.

Following the FBI’s shocking raid Monday at the home, office, and hotel room of President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, Republican lawmakers are rallying behind the still-unjustified investigation into whether Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election. (Like just about everything else the probe has produced so far, the Cohen matter appears unrelated to anything Russian.) Jim Comey deserves a special place in the annals of sanctimonious frauds in Washington, D.C. He leaked, lied, bent rules, treated FBI material as his own personal property, violated confidential conversations, and generally acted like a government unto himself. But now he has the gall to write it all up in the sonorous nonsense language of “constitutional crisis.” His forthcoming memoir amounts to nothing more than the sour grapes of a self-serving operator over a wholly justified sacking. (Snip)What Comey calls “higher loyalty” is just adherence to the interests of an unaccountable ruling class and the needs of his own ego.

There is real greatness in the American character. The profound desire for vesting sovereignty in the people themselves rather than in an hereditary monarch or aristocracy, the wish to maximize individual freedom, and the hope for the securing of economic development and security for all are among our noblest of traditions. But there is also venality and naiveté that have endured in American politics, and those deleterious traits have always threatened the American experiment. Two of the worst blotches on American culture and politics are the extraordinary hatred Americans have often manifested against those with whom they have political disagreements, and,

Among its other consequences, Speaker Paul Ryan´s retirement from the House increases the chance that President Donald Trump will be impeached. Ryan´s decision accelerates the ongoing competition among his deputies to become the leader of the GOP in the House. But it will also dispirit fellow Republicans, diminish his ability to raise campaign funds and encourage more vulnerable incumbents to retire. All of that smooths the path for Democrats to recapture the House in November and hand Nancy Pelosi the speaker´s gavel once again.
