California teacher who slammed military

A Southern California city council member and teacher who called members of the military the "lowest of our low" was condemned Tuesday by his council colleagues -- some of whom demanded he resign. Gregory Salcido, who was placed on leave from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, was heard on a video denigrating members of the military in a rant directed toward a 17-year-old student wearing a U.S. Marine Corps sweatshirt. "They´re not like high-level thinkers, they´re not academic people, they´re not intellectual people; they´re the frickin´ lowest of our low," he said. "I don´t understand why we let

I´m glad to see that so many spoke out against that poor excuse for a teacher and council member. I can´t believe this article left out an important item that I heard on Fox News this morning. Members of the community are starting a campaign for his recall. Link below. Good for them!

Jerks like him should be taught a lesson. He is unfit to serve in any capacity, especially as a teacher, if he cannot treat everyone with respect. He is a horrific role model and deserves all the backlash against him.

The majority of Americans in 2017 did not identify themselves as Protestants, according to Gallup surveys conducted during the year, and the differing religious denominations tended to be concentrated in certain geographical areas. “About half of Americans (48 percent) identify as Protestants or other Christians who are not Catholic or Mormon,” said Gallup in its analysis of its polling. The numbers from the Gallup survey align with numbers derived from a Pew Research Center survey published in 2015. That survey indicated that from 2007 to 2014, Protestants had dropped from 51.3 percent of the population to 46.5 percent. At the same

Attorney General Jeff Sessions told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Thursday that the Department of Justice was ending the “executive branch legal activism” of the previous administration, while also fighting the judicial activism of liberal judges. “I think the department did become too political” under President Barack Obama, Sessions said. “Essentially, it was executive branch legal activism. The Chicago Park District on Wednesday approved pushing ahead to turn parts of Cornell Drive into parkland — with the closure of roads in Jackson Park a sizzling community controversy related to the development of the Obama Presidential Center — and still facing multiple reviews. The board voted unanimously Wednesday to start negotiations to swap 6 acres it owns in Jackson Park at the edges of streets for 8 acres of roads — not all contiguous — the city of Chicago holds in the same park. The sterile language of the legislation doesn’t tell the whole story. President Trump’s legal team is citing a three-pillar argument to convince investigators, and the public, that President Trump shouldn’t sit down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Mueller wants access to the president as part of an inquiry into suspected obstruction of justice in the firing of the special counsel’s longtime friend, FBI Director James B. Comey, in May. The president’s legal team has resisted but not given a firm no. Here are the arguments against an interview. • The White House has given Mr. Mueller unprecedented access to White House documents and people. • There is no stated crime. •
