The Curious Michael Flynn Guilty Plea
National Review, by Andrew C. McCarthy

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/13/2018 10:37:35 PM

Back in early December, Trump fans started throwing stuff at me for suggesting that we await more information about FBI agent Peter Strzok before demanding that he be drawn and quartered. Yes, it was clear that Strzok engaged in serious misconduct: The married G-man’s reported extramarital affair with his married FBI colleague Lisa Page was scandalous not only for the obvious reasons but as potential blackmail material against counterintelligence agents. Plus, Strzok appears to have been the main investigator in the Hillary Clinton emails case that the FBI and Justice Department bent over backwards not to prosecute; and there is

This is an incredible article with new information that I had not heard. McCarthy discusses the judge who recused himself, Rudolph Contreras, and the new judge, Emmet Sullivan who has always been fair and reasonable. Link below. Sullivan has ordered Mueller to provide any information that may be favorable to Flynn! Further information to be provided below.

FTA: "We now know that one of Judge Sullivan’s first actions on the case was to file an order directing Mueller to provide Flynn with any evidence in the special counsel’s possession that is favorable to Flynn, whether on the issue of guilt or of sentencing. Significantly, the order stresses that if Mueller has such evidence but believes it is not “material” and therefore that Flynn is not entitled to disclosure of it, Mueller must show the evidence to the court so that Judge Sullivan may decide whether to mandate its disclosure."

FTA: " It certainly appears that Sullivan’s order supersedes the plea agreement and imposes on the special counsel the obligation to reveal any and all evidence suggesting that Flynn is innocent of the charge to which he has admitted guilt... All we can say is that Flynn’s sentencing has just been postponed until May."

This is such great news for Flynn.  I wish there was a way for him to receive damages for the abuse of power and gross misconduct by those in the FBI and Obama regime who virtually destroyed him. It is absolutely shameful and shocking that this happened in the USA.

...there was no love lost between the previous administration and Flynn which probably earned him a target on his back...

...considering the high cost of justice or the possible threat against his son, could well be the motivation for the plea as McCarthy points out...

...nothing would be sweeter than to see Flynn walk out and some of those "top administration officials" being walked into court...

I do want the good guys to win this one. The arrogance of the FBI is staggering. While the wheels of justice may grind slowly, they also grinds finely. I hope that these arrogant criminals are so finely ground, there is nothing left but a small dusting of powder. The country must see justice done. There has been just too much criminal activity that has come to light. We the people deserve to be assured that the criminals have been routed from the government. In fact, we demand it.

During the time that Flynn was being interviewed everybody was under the impression that the FBI was still an honorable, honest and above-reproach federal law enforcement agency. Had Flynn known what we now know, he could have refused to talk to them and not put himself in that position. Little did we know that they would come after everybody in the Trump administration, including the President himself. Flynn should be exonerated and receive back pay and a big apology. This information also casts Mueller in a worse light.

If the muscular arm of the FBI and DOJ can do this to a guy like Flynn, they can and will do it to any one of "we the people" if they want.

How many of us have the resources and political connections to withstand this kind of onslaught? Even Michael Flynn who must have had some resources before his PERSECUTION and could pick up the phone and call the president-elect was destroyed.

Every American should demand justice for Flynn and for every citizens´ constitutional rights. The conduct of the deep state is absolutely terrifying.

I´m not a criminal defense lawyer but there are a fair number of items in Flynn´s guilty plea that I wonder if he can try to use to withdraw the plea, notwithstanding the waiver of further discovery. It will be interesting. As for a pardon, I´d hope Trump behaves appropriately and Flynn is pardoned the way that Eliot Abrams was.

FTA "....Mueller’s demand that he waive “the right to any further discovery or disclosures of information not already provided” — in addition to forfeiting many other trial and appellate rights".

With Mueller making these demands AFTER Flyn plead guilty makes my believe that Mueller knows damn well that Flyn is innocent but he, Mueller doesn´t want any more information get to Flyn. And giving the orders that this new judge made to Mueller, I don´t think that Flyn won´t even brought to court anymore.

Keith Olbermann is expanding his role at ESPN — but it was nearly even bigger. The largest aspect of Olbermann’s expanded role with ESPN is that he will co-host around 20 “SportsCenter” 11 p.m. shows. Olbermann’s rise to national prominence came when he and his partner, Dan Patrick, hosted the program they dubbed “The Big Show.” Sources said ESPN considered offering Olbermann the full-time 6 p.m. “SportsCenter” show, but ultimately decided against it for a variety of reasons, including logistics, as the show will continue in Bristol and Olbermann lives in New York. The 6 p.m. show ultimately went to

Today he told Axios the deep state spying on Trump was actually “Benign version of information gathering.” Via Zero Hedge:

The FBI Spied for LBJ’s Campaign

Is it unthinkable that the Federal Bureau of Investigation would spy on a presidential campaign for political purposes? I can personally attest that it has happened before—during Barry Goldwater’s 1964 campaign. Every poll agreed that President Lyndon B. Johnson would easily win the election against the conservative Sen. Goldwater of Arizona. But LBJ wanted a landslide so he could implement his Great Society vision without resistance and go down in history as one of America’s greatest presidents. (Snip) Thus was born Johnson’s “Anti-Campaign” to smear Goldwater’s candidacy. The operation was run from the second floor of the West Wing by
