Schiff: We´re not going to
revise Democratic memo

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Brett Samuels

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/13/2018 10:17:49 PM

BREAKING: Senator Adam Schiff will not be making any revisions to the Democratic memo Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday night that members of his party won’t revise their countermemo, despite requests from the White House to do so. “We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” Schiff told reporters. “The White House has a different interest. I think their interest is in redacting anything that doesn’t reflect well on the White House,” Schiff added.

Comments:
You cannot be serious! So what is that little crapweasel going to do next? Blame it all on Trump? He will probably redact all of it but a few parts and blame that on Trump. He is such an evil, conniving little jerk.. I am so sick and tired of the political game playing by the Democrats. It´s gone way overboard.

I guess Schiff is missing the polls that show a majority of Americans believe the Obama Administration was spying on Trump.

Keep up your descent into irrelevancy, you moron.

This move verifies that the entire purpose of the memo was to get it published with lots of ominous blacked out sections. Since the actual content of their memo is probably fairly blah, they prefer to leave it a mystery and accuse Trump of suppressing the truth.

Proof positive that this was purely a political gimmick and they had absolutely nothing whatsoever to add to the story, just wanted an "official whine".

Trump short circuited their politial play, and they will now sulk.

President Trump needs to make a big deal about giving it to the DOJ and the FBI for final approval before releasing it. And let them make any redactions. I also can´t wait until Schiffhead is identified as the intel. committee leaker and gets slapped with a treason charge!

Of course the memo the White House releases, no matter if it´s redacted or not, the ´rats will claim it´s not the memo they gave President Trump. They will show another memo saying this is a copy of what was in OUR memo and that Trump has changed it.
President Trump needs to call schiff to the White House, show him the memo, ask him if this is the exact memo that they turned over to him. If schiff says no, tell him to give him (Trump) another memo. Then in front of the cameras, briefly show that there are no redactions, then hand it over for schiff to read out loud to the country.

#12, I like the way you think. Clearly this is Schiff being a run of the mill political leftist hack. Playing games is what they do.

The democrats are in deep trouble because despite the protection of their media lapdogs, the truth is getting out there. It doesn’t look good for the democrat party when the majority of Americans believe the DNC and Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians to harm the Trump campaign.

They are desperate for something, anything to stick to this President. If you think they will give up the fight, think again. They believe they were “this close” to taking the President down and they will not give up now. If anything, they will double down on their efforts. While the investigations drags out like molasses, they remain focused on their task. The closer we get to the truth, the more unhinged they will become. Buckle up and keep your hands inside the car at all times, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Wasn´t it reported that the WH offered to have the FBI come and help Schiff-for-brains to re-write it so it could be released? Also I remember Nunes saying, there was nothing in the memo that contradicted the Nunes memo.. just a lot of salacious crap to muddy the facts.

Of course, this the normal Dim MO. They want the focus on the fight and not the facts. Let´s see how long they wait to release it. Let more keep coming out from Grassley and it may be a moot point.

Did anyone actually tell Schiff that he should “revise” his memo? I thought that the controversy about the memo was that it needed to be “redacted” to keep classified some sources and methods that Schiff had disclosed in his memo?

There is a difference between “revising” a document and “redacting” classified information from a document. Obviously Schiff was attempting to conflate the two in his latest comment.

I think that President Trump shouldn´t redact anything in that memo. Just like it was when he received it and then simply return it back to Schiffless. And flatly tell him personally that is that gets out to the public or ANY press then he will be investigated down to his socks and when they find who gave it to the press, someone(s) are going to prison. For a long time. And Schiffless just probably be the first.

“How many times is this going to go on until the American people say enough is enough?” Florida Sen. Bill Nelson asked in response to the latest school shooting in Parkland, Fla., where 17 died. Federal deportation officers staged one of the biggest enforcement actions in years against businesses in Los Angeles this week, arresting 212 people and serving audit notices to 122 businesses who will have to prove they aren’t hiring illegal immigrants. Nearly all of those arrested were convicted criminals, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE said it targeted Los Angeles because it’s a sanctuary city, meaning it refuses to fully cooperate with federal authorities on deportations from within its jails. That means agents and officers have to go out into the community, said Thomas D. Homan, the agency’s deputy director.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is not yet done investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election after indicting 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for seeking to interfere in the 2016 election, according to a report Friday. The probe is also seeking to determine if Trump obstructed justice, the person said. Mueller has not publicly confirmed that his team has ever looked into possible efforts obstruct justice.

The criminal indictment of 13 Russians for allegedly trying to influence “U.S. political and electoral processes” provides no evidence of any collusion between these Russians – or any other Russian officials – and the Trump campaign in the 2016 presidential race. While the description of alleged Russian activities is very troubling, it is important to note that the indictment makes no mention of any hacking or other activity that changed ballots, vote counts, or actually interfered with the election. Mitt Romney said Friday that the nation must act swiftly to address the scourge of gun violence, stating that he was open to tougher measures like "enhanced background checks" if they would help keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. "What happened is unthinkable and unimaginable," he said after offering prayers for the victims of the Florida shooting. "We must take action to prevent tragedies like this from happening again." (snip) The recently unveiled Obama portraits are of a type that I have seen many times in my career as an artist and art historian. The poses are wooden, the compositions hackneyed, and both subjects have obviously been copied from photographs. To make up for the technical weakness of the painting´s execution, the artist relies on gimmicks to drag their image over the finish line, hoping that
