Why Susan Rice Wrote

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Scott wrote this morning about the extraordinary email that National Security Advisor Susan Rice wrote to herself at 12:15 on January 20, 2017, within minutes of when President Trump was inaugurated. It must have been her last act, more or less, before she vacated the White House. So obviously the email was important to her. But why would it be important to send an email to herself (the only person copied was one of her aides)? If you read the email, which Scott posted along with Senator Grassley’s letter to Rice, it is obvious that it is a CYA memo. But the question is, whose A is being C’d? Most attention, so far, has focused on the

It´s all fun and games until you get caught. I can just envision these miscreants in the Oval Office planning and scheming Trump´s demise, laughing at the sheeple.

Well, WTP rose up and destroyed all their plans for the fundamental transformation of America, and thank God we did.

Divine Providence was at work on Election Day, 2016. Pray for our President and our country. He needs all the prayers he can get as he fights the evil around us and around the world.

Would love to hear Jon Lovitz do a dramatic reading of the Rice email, complete with "yeah, that´s the ticket" sprinkled liberally throughout.

Why Susan Rice Wrote an Email To Herself:
1) After years with the Clintons, her living friends census is very, very small.
2) Mom won´t respond anymore.
3) Osama Bin Laden´s Internet service quite abruptly ended one night.
4) Yeah, she´s REALLY that stoopid!
5) She accidentally misspelled Julian Assange.
6) A long time ago someone told her a story about a little boy, who thought he was a girl, who wrote letters to herself and posted them. Then one day a kind mailman, uh, er "mailperson" opened the letter and bought her some really nice things for a long time. The mailperson turned out to be a pedophile, but that´s not the point.
7) E-mailing Edgar Rice Burroughs evokes primal screams from black people
8) #GoUnmaskMe was swarming with Susan Rice fakeposts and she needed to test our government servers!
9) A funny thing happened on the way to the NSA...
10)??

Harf is partially correct. Memos for the record aren´t uncommon but are always written immediately after the meeting or event, when your emotion is high and you have a clear recollection of what you just heard. You don´t do it on your way through the retirement door.

That email had a paragraph that contains classified information. What was she doing emailing herself? Was it a goobermint cell phone? Did she email to her private unclassified commercial account? Enquiring minds want to know. And these same minds want to know why she isn´t being investigated and prosecuted for transmitting classified material to an unsecured commercial account.

That email was good old fashioned damage control.

Now, according to Marie Barf on Fox News - this was done all the time, and those who worked with her - know Susan Rice to be such a wonderful person.

Did that spark your gag reflex?

Perhaps someone should ask the families of those murdered in Benghazi about that - because I seriously doubt they will agree with Ms. Barf. Rightfully so.

How about that poor slob who was blamed and locked up for the infamous Youtube video? You know - the video Hillary and Susan claimed sparked the Benghazi attack/murders? Wonder what he thinks of Ms. Rice?

Meanwhile, let´s take a look at some of the old news clips showing Susan Rice lying her lips off, on every news channel for weeks, after the Benghazi attack.

Susan Rice and Marie Barf attempt to throw us into the spin machine once again. Both will do their best to convince us the email was nothing more than a mere grocery list by the time this is finished.

Of course BO didn´t want to be forthcoming about Russia to the Trump administration. THAT is where they hid their little Dossier stink bomb.

Something that is confusing to me. We keep seeing references to redacted material. Does not the Intelligence Committee have full access to classified materials? Cannot THEY read the full text? If so, without specifying details, cannot they say that there definitively WAS corrupt activity going on? That, for example, that the FBI was surveilling individuals on the Trump team? Period.

Surely Trump now has full access to all this information as well? Surely if corrupt and criminal activity was carried out, "National Security" excuses cannot be used to cover it up? That´s insane.

In short, there are people that ARE allowed to see the WHOLE picture. Some of those people have oversight responsibilities to the public to call out illegal activities and correct them.

Are people reading this entire article?? This confirms why she wrote it.. at least as far as JH is concerned, and I agree with him. Of course its to cover her own rear, but really the reason it needs covering is because as in the lower paragraphs state.. Obama told them to not hand over all the "sensitive" information to the incoming Trump team. on Russia.

Rice´s new counter part was Flynn. If Flynn had read what was happening with the dossier and in the FBI, the jig was up. So they hid that info, then destroyed Flynn before he could see it. How pathetic.

Whose A is being covered is all the conspirators at that meeting. Obama is setting the narrative to be told: "Everything was done by the book". Obama´s administration never resorted to the truth on anything, only using narratives, all made necessary by the unconstitutionality of everything done by the Obama administration. All the conspirators must have left the meeting with a lot of winks, and a lot of mirth that they had hoodwinked the Republicans and the ignorant people.

Memos to file are not unusual. Memorializing meetings is not unusual. Sending them to oneself as an email is interesting - she wanted to be sure it was time-stamped. That there’d be no doubt about when it had been written.

Lots of juicy stuff here. But for me the most telling is the "by the book" quote. Hard to believe that anyone would think this would be a CYA statement. Quite the contrary, it´s a tacit admission that their team has NOT been doing it by the book, and a reminder that they better start doing so now. They totally thought that Hillary would win and that nobody would ever find out they had not been doing things by the book. Truly a "ruh-roh! moment".

A number of workers in Silicon Valley are planning to leave the tech hub due to a discomfort stemming from a uniform way of thinking in the industry and region, according to The Wall Street Journal. The workers already are or plan on indirectly following the lead of Peter Thiel, a President Donald Trump-supporting venture capitalist. The billionaire entrepreneur recently announced he is leaving Silicon Valley for the slightly less liberal Los Angeles area to escape an allegedly pervasive discrimination against conservatives and some libertarians. It turns out that, with apologies to Nancy Pelosi, Republicans really did have to pass the tax bill so people could find out what’s in it. The GOP has made gains on the generic congressional ballot in recent weeks, with warmer feelings about the tax plan contributing to the upward trend. The improving numbers at least raise the prospect that, just as in 2016, Democrats will be lured by their abiding conviction in President Donald Trump’s inevitable failure and their deep loathing of him to misplay what should be a winning hand. There’s no doubt that Republicans are in trouble.

I’m confused. These days, “nationalism” is all the rage on the right. I put it in quotes because there are a lot of different ideas of what nationalism means. Some of it is just rah-rah “U.S.A. No. 1” sloganeering. For others, nationalism is basically code for white-identity politics. And for the so-called alt-right, it’s not even code. “The ideal of a white ethno-state — and it is an ideal — is something that I think we should think about in the sense of what could come after America,” Richard Spencer, a leading alt-righter, has said. Note the phrase “after America.”

Tonight’s State of the Union speech was a triumph for President Trump. The speech was excellent, and Trump knew it cold and delivered it effectively. The president began with a recitation of his administration’s achievements that was truly impressive. Trump emphasized, appropriately, the remarkable gains our economy has made in just one year. The president’s reception by most in the House chamber was rapturous, which must have been an eye-opener for some who watched. For the Democrats, the optics were very bad. Following the recent Parkland shooting, a number of “movements” and activist groups popped up, and the standout similarity across all of them is that they’re fronted by teenagers. (Photo) NOTE: at the request of the parent, we are keeping some information anonymous at this time. This afternoon, the Gateway Pundit received a tip from a father of one of the Parkland school shooter survivors. The program was The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Like all of the hosts on CNN, including news anchors, Blitzer is consistently anti-Trump so I wasn’t expecting anything close to fair and balanced. But what I saw this time was even more obnoxious and telling. As Blitzer and his talking head guests opined, a chyron on the bottom of the screen

Just one day after the shooting massacre last week at a Florida high school, the woman who cared for the alleged shooter and his brother filed court papers seeking control of their inheritance, which could total up to $800,000, according to the New York Post. Roxanne Deschamps also had Zachary Cruz, the brother of shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz, involuntarily committed to a mental facility shortly after the massacre, the Post reported, citing a family source. Deschamps, a longtime family friend of the Cruz brothers, began looking after them after their adoptive mother, Lynda, died of pneumonia in November.
