Breaking: FBI director contradicts White House
as he says they had FOUR warnings about
Rob Porter going back to March 2017 – and
his background check was ´completed´ by July

Daily Mail [UK], by David Martosko

FBI director Christopher Wray said Tuesday that the White House was given four separate reports about disgraced former aide Rob Porter´s security clearance investigation – with the first heads-up coming 11 months ago. The bombshell development could put White Houe Chief of Staff John Kelly and White House Counsel Don McGahn on the hot seat as they face new questions about what they knew and when they knew it. Responding to a question from Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, Wray spelled out the process in which the bureau ´briefed´ the White House while Porter was operating

So Wray can talk when he likes, but is silent and reproving, when Congress asks him a question about FBI corruption. This is not very impressive, Mr. Wray.

Rather strange that a sitting FBI director is weighing in on this in public!? When asked about ´other crimes´ during a hearing that were committed by the FBI he always claimed ´I can´t answer this in this setting´, meaning that it needs to be discussed in private.
Suddenly this shady Ray comes out with a statement that´s really none of his business.
Fake news again?

So, this guy Porter hit his two ex wives and the whole world is in an uproar. The guy´s a slug ok. But think about it, Bill Clinton was a serial rapist, hit women, assaulted women, groped women and was having regular sex with a young intern, IN THE OVAL OFFICE, and democrats never flinched. They still love the guy and women have no problem with him. Do you freakin get it yet. Got it.

Ben Rhodes was also denied an initial security clearance, but I guess that never mattered. Unfortunately, we´re going to hear a lot more about Rob Porter, given today´s hearing and the president´s undisciplined remarks and tweets.

Since the FBI had no police reports of this alleged violence to refer to, and only the selfie from one of the women accusing Porter, I can see why Trump gave Porter a chance to prove himself. But, I can also see why the FBI was leery of giving him a clearance too.

It is becoming far too easy for the Left to destroy reputations in the public venue right now. I just do not buy into the just because an accuser is a woman she should be trusted no matter what she says. Way too many predatory and vindictive women out there right now. FYI, I am speaking from a woman´s perspective here.

If Porter beat his wife there are legal mechanisms that will handle this but he also deserves due process. Apparently due process is something only democrats are given.

The Left has their Achilles Heel and need look no further.

Shep Smith smells blood in the water and won´t let up.

I want a complete accounting as to how it took so long for this to come to a head. My wager is Porter used his power, influence and keen skills of manipulation to bottleneck it.

I worked with a man who abused his wife or so she said. I occasionally worked with her. I refused to believe her. He was the nicest, greatest guy in the world in my book. Even when people told me they listened to the message he´d left on her phone I refused to believe he could be abuse. Only until I experience his verbal abuse did I believe it. Learning and then believing people you hold in high regard are contemptable is difficult.

DM article has a useful - if it is accurate - sequence of the events.

One missing link is the path of the FBI reports to the WH. Who exactly received them? And then who saw them?

And most important; what did those FBI reports say?

There was a depressing familiarity both to Hamas’s suicide protest operation along Gaza’s border with Israel this week and to Israel’s response to it. Hamas’s jihadist regime in Gaza doesn’t have a lot of cards to play in its continuous war against the Jewish state. But, as we have been seeing since Hamas launched its campaign against the border six weeks ago, it does have one card, and no matter how often it plays that card, Israel can’t seem to figure out how to beat it. Hamas’s card is Western hostility to Israel. The Western media, along with the EU and most

WASHINGTON — A West Wing aide´s morbid remark about gravely ill Sen. John McCain has not yielded widespread White House soul searching. Instead it has produced a push to fire those responsible for leaking that story and others that have bedeviled President Donald Trump´s administration. Nearly a week after Kelly Sadler dismissed McCain´s opinion on Trump´s CIA nominee during a closed-door meeting by saying "he´s dying anyway," a torrent of criticism has rained down upon the White House. Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
