The Great Flynn Case Mystery
American Thinker, by Clarice Feldman

Original Article

I have been wondering why, shortly after Judge Rudolph Contreras was (without explanation) recused from hearing the Michael Flynn case and Judge Emmet G. Sullivan took over, Special Counsel Robert Mueller agreed to postpone the sentencing until May, after the inspector general´s report is due. I have no assurances that my suppositions are correct, but I´m beginning to think that at the next hearing of this case, Judge Sullivan will hear Mueller dismiss the case. Here´s how I come to that. The only reason I can imagine why Judge Contreras was recused – note: did not recuse himself – is that he

This is an excellent article. Pulls together and connects a number of seemingly disconnected events. Clarice is a pretty good dot-connector!

She makes a point of stating that Judge Contreras was recused from Flynn’s sentencing hearing - did not (as was headline-reported in many conservative-leaning and other news outlets) recuse himself. The description of his recusal swung from was recused to recused himself. Not it has swung back to was recused and the reasons given. Sound pretty solid to me.

Brady refers to a SCOTUS decision, not the act. The Brady Act required background queries to purchase firearms. Clarice should fix that.

Yes, Clarice connects the dots well, and no doubt many LDotters remember the Sen. Stevens’ lies were part of Alaska news in the Palin Documentary, “The Undefeated.”

Something to think about: Had Stevens not been prosecuted or if he had been provided the exculpatory material needed for his defense, it is likely he would have won re-election to the Senate.

We would not have the obamacare noose around out necks today. One vote changed everything.

A Prosecutor´s job is to seek justice, first and foremost, based on all the evidence.

That these people clearly violated their sworn duty is disgraceful. They all should have been held in contempt by the Court and ultimately disbarred.

Actions have consequences, unfortunately not for them.

You would think that the conclusions of the FBI agents who conducted the interview with Flynn would count for something, even during the course of a politically charged criminal persecution.

And, again, note the mention of the presence of Judge Rudolph Contreras.
Appointed in 2012 by Obama the Thrice-Cursed. Bad enough.
Confirmed in March of 2012 by a VOICE VOTE!!. Voice vote. Not even ONE of the low-life Republicrat Senators had the honor nor integrity to register ANY doubt. Fire them!!

Did anyone notice when Flynn plead guilty that´s when all this stuff appeared from everywhere. ..my guess is a lot of people were aware he was done wrong. It hasn´t been too long ago, I think his name was Brady, trial was dismissed because federal Prosecutors withheld evidence.

The amazing thing to me re:FISA judges is that the-brown-stuff-left-by-the-dog-has-not-made-contact-with-the-electrically-powered-spinning-cooling-device, that is, these folks who defrauded the court haven´t been brought in for a serious chat and referral to the DOJ and the state bar.

But then again, could the judges be in on the scam?

So, if Flynn is released and charges dropped, he is still out of a job, has lost his home and all his savings, and his reputation is destroyed.

I´m sure that Obama and all the evil Hellary Flying Monkeys will still be pleased with that outcome.

Where does Flynn go to get his life back?

Once again, the president has pried behind the stucco of the Deep State´s institutional edifice and shown that the pillars are termite-ridden. Over at Instapundit, law professor Glenn Reynolds said it most succinctly: FL Shooting Survivor Colton Haab: CNN Told Me I Needed To "Stick To The Script"; Entire Town Hall Scripted. Trump´s luck is pretty amazing. The entire media sets up a week-long hatefest aimed at the NRA, culminating in that shameful fake "Town Hall," and then the very next day it comes out that there was a police officer there who was too cowardly to do anything, and Broward County

What Constitutes Treason

"Treason" is a term occasionally bandied about but rarely discussed seriously. President Trump, in a recent speech, joked about it. Referring to the catatonic Democrats during the State of the Union address, "They were like death and un-American. Un-American. Somebody said, ´treasonous.´ I mean, yeah, I guess, why not? Can we call that treason? Why not? I mean, they certainly didn´t seem to love our country that much.” As leftists are prone to do, they took Trump's words literally – the opposite of how his supporters approach Trump's joking. Commenting on what someone else said – "yeah, I guess, why not?" Trump being Trump.

Shortly after Rod Rosenstein announced the latest series of indictments against Russians largely for posts on social media, the stock market rose and hit its highest weekly gain since 2013. And for good reason – the indictments are idiotic. They would never have been issued by a prosecutor, only a special counsel looking as if he´s doing something as his case against his big catch – General Michael Flynn – seems to become less and less certain to lead to conviction.(snip) Of course, the indictments are unlikely to result in anything, as the Russians are not going to extradite those

Hillary Clinton continued to attack the Electoral College system used to elect U.S. presidents on Friday, calling it an "odd system" and contrary to the idea of "one person, one vote." "I know this is another really obvious thing to say. Vote in every election, not just presidential elections," Clinton said at Harvard University, in a clip flagged by NTK Network. "You know, it is maddening because one of the panelists said we get the government that we vote for. Now, we have this odd system with the Electoral College." Clinton defeated Donald Trump in the popular vote by nearly three million

NEW YORK — In his newly released book, Sen. John McCain admits he knew the anti-Trump dossier that he infamously passed to the FBI contained “unproven accusations,” “mostly raw, unverified intelligence” and allegations about which the senator “had no idea” if “any were true.” Yet McCain maintains he had an “obligation” to pass the wild charges against Donald Trump to FBI Director James Comey and he would even do it again. “Anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell,” McCain exclaimed. The public face of the gun-control movement demanded $1 million Thursday from the Florida-based grocery chain in a tweet, just one day after calling for a “die-in” protest at its stores. Publix is being targeted by Mr. Hogg for its support of Adam Putnam, a Republican gubernatorial candidate who is now the state’s agricultural commissioner. The Tampa Bay Times reported earlier this week that Publix had given $670,000 during the last three years to Putnam campaigns. Mr. Hogg not only sought atonement money from the grocery chain in Thursday’s tweet, he also demanded a pledge of ideological fealty to the

Hillary Clinton received the Radcliffe Award at Harvard on Friday. President Barack Obama took a light swing at his successor during a tech conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday. His eight years in office were scandal free, he told the audience. "I didn´t have scandals, which seems like it shouldn´t be something you brag about," Obama joked. President Donald Trump’s presidency has thus far been racked with scandalous allegations, but Obama later hedged his barb. "But actually,” he said, “if you look at the history of the modern presidency, coming out of the modern presidency without anybody going to jail is really good. It´s a big deal." The reason his

Until 1968, Walter Cronkite believed what his government told him about the Vietnam War. He was an old-school journalist, a patriot, a man who came of age covering World War II as a wire-service reporter and then taking over as the anchor of “The CBS Evening News” at the height of the Cold War. Like most journalists of his generation, he embraced the fight against communism and understood why the United States had intervened in the war raging in Vietnam. When he’d visited Vietnam on a reporting trip early in the war, he’d been annoyed by the attitude of the young
