The Great Flynn Case Mystery
American Thinker, by Clarice Feldman

Original Article

I have been wondering why, shortly after Judge Rudolph Contreras was (without explanation) recused from hearing the Michael Flynn case and Judge Emmet G. Sullivan took over, Special Counsel Robert Mueller agreed to postpone the sentencing until May, after the inspector general´s report is due. I have no assurances that my suppositions are correct, but I´m beginning to think that at the next hearing of this case, Judge Sullivan will hear Mueller dismiss the case. Here´s how I come to that. The only reason I can imagine why Judge Contreras was recused – note: did not recuse himself – is that he

This is an excellent article. Pulls together and connects a number of seemingly disconnected events. Clarice is a pretty good dot-connector!

She makes a point of stating that Judge Contreras was recused from Flynn’s sentencing hearing - did not (as was headline-reported in many conservative-leaning and other news outlets) recuse himself. The description of his recusal swung from was recused to recused himself. Not it has swung back to was recused and the reasons given. Sound pretty solid to me.

Brady refers to a SCOTUS decision, not the act. The Brady Act required background queries to purchase firearms. Clarice should fix that.

Yes, Clarice connects the dots well, and no doubt many LDotters remember the Sen. Stevens’ lies were part of Alaska news in the Palin Documentary, “The Undefeated.”

Something to think about: Had Stevens not been prosecuted or if he had been provided the exculpatory material needed for his defense, it is likely he would have won re-election to the Senate.

We would not have the obamacare noose around out necks today. One vote changed everything.

A Prosecutor´s job is to seek justice, first and foremost, based on all the evidence.

That these people clearly violated their sworn duty is disgraceful. They all should have been held in contempt by the Court and ultimately disbarred.

Actions have consequences, unfortunately not for them.

You would think that the conclusions of the FBI agents who conducted the interview with Flynn would count for something, even during the course of a politically charged criminal persecution.

And, again, note the mention of the presence of Judge Rudolph Contreras.
Appointed in 2012 by Obama the Thrice-Cursed. Bad enough.
Confirmed in March of 2012 by a VOICE VOTE!!. Voice vote. Not even ONE of the low-life Republicrat Senators had the honor nor integrity to register ANY doubt. Fire them!!

Did anyone notice when Flynn plead guilty that´s when all this stuff appeared from everywhere. ..my guess is a lot of people were aware he was done wrong. It hasn´t been too long ago, I think his name was Brady, trial was dismissed because federal Prosecutors withheld evidence.

The amazing thing to me re:FISA judges is that the-brown-stuff-left-by-the-dog-has-not-made-contact-with-the-electrically-powered-spinning-cooling-device, that is, these folks who defrauded the court haven´t been brought in for a serious chat and referral to the DOJ and the state bar.

But then again, could the judges be in on the scam?

So, if Flynn is released and charges dropped, he is still out of a job, has lost his home and all his savings, and his reputation is destroyed.

I´m sure that Obama and all the evil Hellary Flying Monkeys will still be pleased with that outcome.

Where does Flynn go to get his life back?

Once again, the president has pried behind the stucco of the Deep State´s institutional edifice and shown that the pillars are termite-ridden. Over at Instapundit, law professor Glenn Reynolds said it most succinctly: FL Shooting Survivor Colton Haab: CNN Told Me I Needed To "Stick To The Script"; Entire Town Hall Scripted. Trump´s luck is pretty amazing. The entire media sets up a week-long hatefest aimed at the NRA, culminating in that shameful fake "Town Hall," and then the very next day it comes out that there was a police officer there who was too cowardly to do anything, and Broward County

What Constitutes Treason

"Treason" is a term occasionally bandied about but rarely discussed seriously. President Trump, in a recent speech, joked about it. Referring to the catatonic Democrats during the State of the Union address, "They were like death and un-American. Un-American. Somebody said, ´treasonous.´ I mean, yeah, I guess, why not? Can we call that treason? Why not? I mean, they certainly didn´t seem to love our country that much.” As leftists are prone to do, they took Trump's words literally – the opposite of how his supporters approach Trump's joking. Commenting on what someone else said – "yeah, I guess, why not?" Trump being Trump.

Shortly after Rod Rosenstein announced the latest series of indictments against Russians largely for posts on social media, the stock market rose and hit its highest weekly gain since 2013. And for good reason – the indictments are idiotic. They would never have been issued by a prosecutor, only a special counsel looking as if he´s doing something as his case against his big catch – General Michael Flynn – seems to become less and less certain to lead to conviction.(snip) Of course, the indictments are unlikely to result in anything, as the Russians are not going to extradite those

The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump. The complaint, filed in federal district court in Manhattan, alleges that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating stolen material found there. “During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told the White House he might have to leave his job if President Trump fired his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the exchange. Sessions made his position known in a phone call to White House counsel Donald McGahn last weekend, as Trump’s fury at Rosenstein peaked after the deputy attorney general approved the FBI’s raid April 9 on the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. Sessions’s message to the White House, which has not previously been reported, underscores the political firestorm

First-term Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is emerging as a Democratic presidential contender in 2020. However, according to Politico, her own voters in California do not really know much about her. In an article titled “Kamala Harris’ rapid rise confounds California,” Politico’s David Siders writes: Kamala Harris has been called “the female Barack Obama.” She’s built a national following with her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump and prolific fundraising for fellow Democrats. But the California senator’s rapid rise — she’s just 15 months into her first term — has created an awkward issue: Even as progressives tout her as one of

New York set aside $10 million for the legal defense of immigrants targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement just days after ICE announced the arrest of hundreds of people in the state. The Liberty Defense Project will ensure legal rights are being represented, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. It was launched last year, but it needs the additional funds in light of what state officials described as “overly aggressive tactics” from ICE. “ICE’s hyper-aggressive raids on hardworking New Yorkers are immoral and un-New York, and we stand more determined than ever to support the rights of all immigrants in the Empire State
