Catholics warn of church schism if
Vatican makes a deal with China

Beijing — A group of influential Catholics published an open letter Monday to express their shock and disappointment about a report that the Vatican could soon reach a deal with the Chinese government, warning that it could create a schism in the church in China. (snip) The Communist Party in China, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, has repeatedly destroyed crosses and churches, while the state-backed China Patriotic Catholic Association maintains its heavy-handed control over the church, they said. This sentence from the article concerns me also: "There are about 10 million Catholics in China, but their numbers are dwarfed by the fast-growing number of Protestants, and some officials hope a deal could help Catholicism keep pace." First of all, as a Protestant, I´m encouraged by the growth of the number of Protestants, but I´m also concerned that the Catholic Church is willing to water down their principles and beliefs, in part, to keep pace with the Protestant growth. That gives rise to cynicism, that the Catholic Church is nothing more than a competitive business.

...so the Pope will prostitute his church and it´s faith in an attempt to keep pace with the growing evangelical Christians in China...

...never thought much about delivering the "Good News" as a competition, but if the Pope does, having 10 million Catholics compared to the reported nearly 200 million Christians in China will be a tough battle...

#13 Francis is a product of Vatican II. In fact, the majority of the problems in today´s Catholic Church are the product of VII. Remember also Francis is a Jesuit. The Jesuits were founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola, born Inigo Lopez de Loyola, a basque and a knights templar. The Jesuits were called the soldiers of the Pope and were kicked out once. Read their history. It is quite interesting.

Talleyrand: "It was worse than a crime; it was a blunder."

In flat-out surrendering and selling out to the Chinese Communist Party "Catholic Patriotic Association," the Catholic Church has nothing to gain and everything to lose. I

Somebody compared it to turning over Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph to King Herod in hopes of "starting a dialogue".

And reading Cdl. Sorondo´s imbecilic comments on "China the Embodiment of Catholic Social Justice" makes me wonder if he has been demonically possessed by the spirit of Walter Duranty.

(Real) Chinese Catholics have had their houses bulldozed and their churches dynamited, have been imprisoned, tortured and killed to uphold the principles that Pope Francis is now poised to throw away.

The “deep state” is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general’s report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming. America has a health insurance problem because politicians would rather lie about it than solve it. Obamacare regulations caused premiums for people buying their own insurance to more than double between 2013 and 2017, and then soar even higher in 2018.
