Comey told Congress FBI agents
didn´t think Michael Flynn lied

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

Original Article

In March 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey briefed a number of Capitol Hill lawmakers on the Trump-Russia investigation. One topic of intense interest was the case of Michael Flynn, the Trump White House national security adviser who resigned under pressure on February 13 after just 24 days in the job. (Snip) According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression

Comments:
Well my, my, my. Mueller wanted another scalp and Flynn was the perfect mark. Besides Manafort he wanted another Trump associate. This entire fiasco stinks of fraud and corruption. If Mueller had any integrity. that is alleged by so many, he would disband his evil little group of DNC supporters. What they did to Flynn was horrific and evil. He was a man who served this country with honor and it sickens me to see him practically destroyed by those blood thirsty hacks on a Trump witch hunt.

Weren´t the folks involved in the MYE (Hillary´s case was known as the "Mid-Year Exam," and was said to be a "HQ Special," both more-or-less meaning that the fix was in also involved in changing a number of 302´s (FBI agents notes on meetings with sources, etc.)?

Real easy, it appears, for the coup plotters to make a "perjury trap" even without actual perjury, it sounds.

There are a bunch of folks that need to spend the next several years behind bars. I´m not talking Obama, Clinton or Lynch (although that would be justified), but a bunch of these executive level coup plotters in the deep state, so that others learn that this subversion is not something to be taken lightly.

There´s another back-story concerning Flynn and, IIRC, a female FBI? employee that Flynn (before he retired) stepped in and vouched for when she was being accused/harassed by a high-ranking FBI official? News was floating around early last year. Was it Mueller at the FBI? Was this payback? Or a ´favor´ to another?

Mueller had dirt on Flynn’s son, and Flynn Sr. pled guilty to the lying, so that Mueller would drop the case against Jr. All so he could add a scalp, and help going after Jared.

Obama fired Flynn late during his era, and obviously did not want Flynn to have any position in the Trump Administration, so they used the Special Counsel and the DOJ-FBI to get rid of him and then filed criminal charges against him. After reading this article and others about what happened at the start of the Trump Administration, that has to be the conventional wisdom. Since then the Democrats have been trying to pick off Trump’s crew one by one.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein authorized the special counsel’s office to investigate former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort’s Ukrainian lobbying activities as well as possible collusion with Russian government officials, according to a court filing late Monday night. Special counsel Robert Mueller made the revelation in order to defend the scope of the investigation against a motion that Manafort filed on March 14 to dismiss his case. Manafort argued that Rosenstein’s May 17, 2017, appointment of the special counsel only allowed Mueller to investigate alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government and not his pre-election political consulting work. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the US military will be used to guard the US-Mexico border. “We are going to be guarding our border with our military. That’s a big step,” Trump told reporters gathered at the White House. “We cannot have people flowing into our country illegally, disappearing, and by the way never showing up for court.” The President’s comments appear to take aim at current US policy which requires border agents to catch then release family units who arrive at the borer from noncontiguous countries. He also said he had spoken with Secretary of Defense James Mattis about the use

With the U.S. Census Bureau reporting yet another year of population loss for the city, it doesn’t take an investigator to determine the causes. The city’s scary record of 343 homicides in 2017 affirms the city’s well-known reputation as a dangerous place to live. Even if 2018 has fewer homicides, it doesn’t take a fortune teller to predict that this year’s homicide rate will be high. Until the city substantially reduces its homicide and other crimes rates, people will continue to view the city as dangerous and be reluctant to stay or move here.
