Israel downs Iranian drone
and strikes Syria, F-16 crashes

Associated Press, by Aron Heller, Sarah el Deeb

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 2/10/2018 4:53:39 AM

The Israeli military shot down an Iranian drone that infiltrated the country early Saturday before launching "large-scale attack" on at least a dozen Iranian targets in Syria. Israel called it a "severe and irregular violation of Israeli sovereignty." The military said its planes faced massive anti-aircraft fire from Syria that forced two pilots to abandon an F-16 jet that crashed in northern Israel. One pilot was seriously wounded and the other lightly. The military called the drone infiltration a "severe and irregular violation of Israeli sovereignty" and said Iran would be held responsible for its outcome, marking a dramatic escalation in tensions

Comments:
Another chilling escalation of Iran´s influence in the Middle East. As Israel has suspected, Iran has moved its proxy Hezbollah along the Syrian border to antagonize the Jewish state into reacting to its provocations. This is going to escalate exponentially because Israel will not allow these type of aggravation to continue. All this traced back to 0bama´s unconstitutional nuclear deal with Iran through the UN. This is a flashpoint that our Military must be prepared for, while dealing with North Korea and China.

Not only the utterly insane Iranian nuke deal.
The lack of will by Obama to go after IS and the other terrorist outfits in the Mideast and western Africa. He gave them eight years to grow stronger roots and arm themselves with a more sophisticated arsenal. He had better things to do such as spy on American citizens.

The governor of Missouri has been indicted on a felony charge that accuses him of taking a nude photo of a woman without her consent. Gov. Eric Greitens was charged with a felony count of invasion of privacy by a St. Louis City grand jury Thursday. According to a statement by Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner, the incident took place March 21, 2015, and became a felony because the suspect “transmits the image contained in the photograph or film in a manner that allows access to that image via a computer.” According to St. Louis TV station KMOV the image involved a “state of full or partial nudity without the knowledge

In the wake of last week´s horrific shooting at a high school in Parkland, Fla., many parents are asking what can they do to help better protect their children at school. One item some parents are turning to: So-called bulletproof backpacks. Companies that manufacture and sell these products have reported a surge in sales in the week since the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead. The Massachusetts-based Bullet Blocker reported a huge influx of orders for bulletproof backpacks that resulted in a 30% jump in sales the day after the Feb. 14 shooting, according to the

Gangneung, South Korea - In a thrilling end to a battle between the sport’s superpowers, the United States beat Canada by a score of 3-2 in a shootout to win the gold medal in women’s ice hockey. Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson’s goal in the sixth round of the shootout sealed the victory for the Americans, giving the team its first gold in the event since 1998. After going up 1-0 early, the United States quickly fell behind 2-1 and appeared on their way to yet another defeat. They trailed entering the third period, but found a different gear of aggressiveness and repeatedly pressed until they tied the score at 2-2 on

Representative Claudia Tenney, a first-term Republican from Central New York, said in a radio interview on Wednesday that “so many” mass murderers “end up being Democrats.” Democrats immediately condemned her remarks, which came a week after 17 people were killed at a high school in Parkland, Fla., and called on her to apologize for politicizing gun tragedies. One of Ms. Tenney’s colleagues in the House, Representative Gerry Connolly, a Democrat of Virginia, wrote on Twitter that she “owes America a sincere and abject apology.” And her expected Democratic challenger this year, State Assemblyman

Australian officials have pointed to their own success in selling or leasing public assets to finance new construction without incurring new debt -- a concept known as asset recycling. The U.S. is done applauding China for promising economic reforms and wants to see the Asian nation back up its professed support for open trade, according to a senior U.S. Treasury official. The world has woken up to China’s failure to open its economy to market forces, as Beijing promised when it won membership in the World Trade Organization in 2001, said David Malpass, the Treasury’s undersecretary for international affairs. His comments add to the barrage of criticism the Trump administration has unleashed over China’s trade and investment practices, though it’s done little yet to act on a promised

The 300 soldiers from South Korea who joined 2,000 U.S. Marines and Thai soldiers in eastern Thailand marked the highest numbers participating from the East Asian country since it joined the Cobra Gold exercise in 2010, and comes at a time when tensions are particularly high on the Korean Peninsula. The bats came out for commentators’ favorite piñata, the president. Then stocks had their best week since 2011, rallying straight back up about 1,700 quick points. Asked in 1972 if he believed in miracles, Billy Graham answered: Yes, Jesus performed some and there are many "miracles around us today, including television and airplanes." Graham was no theologian. Neither was he a prophet. Jesus said "a prophet hath no honor in his own country." Prophets take adversarial stances toward their times, as did the 20th century´s two greatest religious leaders, Martin Luther King and Pope John Paul II. Graham did not. Partly for that reason, his country showered him with honors. So, the subtitle of Grant Wacker´s 2014 book "America´s Pastor: Billy Graham and the Shaping of a Nation"

Billy Graham and Ruth Bell met at Wheaton College in the fall of 1940. A vivacious and feisty beauty who had grown up in China as the daughter of Presbyterian medical missionaries, Ruth was the prize catch of her class. After a first date, to a performance of Handel’s “Messiah,” Billy wrote home to announce that he had met the girl he planned to marry. Ruth described Billy as “a man that knew God in a very unusual way.” Graham died Wednesday in his home in Montreat, N.C., at the age of 99. The courtship between Billy and Ruth, though hardly

For the past year, chief executives have often talked about the new sense of moral responsibility that corporations have to help their communities and confront social challenges even when Washington won’t. What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America? Collectively, they have more leverage over the gun industry than any lawmaker. And it wouldn’t be hard for them to take a stand.

The upgrade “deleted the cached, or backup, version of Windows 7,” the complaint states. “The only sensible remedy is for Microsoft to supply the OEM version of its operating system by download from its website and confirmed by the key code which came with the computer,” the filing notes. The owner is demanding that Microsoft supply the Windows 7 operating
