While probing Hillary Clinton

Peter Strzok, one of the Trump-hating FBI lovebirds, whose texts have since reverberated around the world, seems to have problems keeping up with classified protocol, that access to privileged information permitted only to the most trustworthy. According to the Daily Caller: Released texts between Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who ran the investigation into former [s]ecretary of [s]tate Hillary Clinton´s email server, and his lover, FBI attorney Lisa Page, reveal the strong possibility that Strzok used his cell phone in a SCIF – a strict violation of protecting classified information. Such a breach would compromise Strzok´s ability to probe

The DoJ , FBI and such institutions seem to be increasingly recruiting from elite Left Wing Schools. Where virtues of discipline, patriotism, duty, honesty are frowned upon as being " deplorable". Unfortunately the halls of power and authority are filled with more Strzoks.

A bit confused...not an expert but SCIF is typically lead lined and has additional security measures to prevent use of calls out or spying into the facility - usually a fairly small room. Something is missing in this report

A secured facility would have - or should have - some record of who visited. The time of the phone call is known, check it against the log.

But if the facility is for one official, such as ´Jim´, it might be like a private safe and have no visitor logs.

I guess we will find out about SCIFs now.

However, last week Chris Plante was speculating on how hideous it must have been in junior high for a guy named Peter Strzok. Hilarious. Maybe that’s why the guy is such a nasty piece of work now.

Dittos to #11´s comments on SCIFs. Depends on the compartmentalized program regarding the various SCIF requirements. Most have physical access/penetration requirements (i.e., blocked air ducts to prevent someone from crawling into the space or getting close enough to listen to conversations; special combination locks on any doors; no LAN connections and other signal lines into/out of the SCIF; etc. But I can assure you using a cell phone in a SCIF is a violation - most SCIFs I have been in require you to leave your cellphone and personal computing devices outside of the SCIF area before entering.

Now we hear that there was a cop on the school grounds in Florida, and four deputies were outside the school, waiting for backup. Some people are blaming the cops, but even an armed cop has to have the tactical advantage to go in shooting. We talk about guns, but we never talk about courage and tactical skill. To use a gun against a killer, you need training, a good plan, and the guts to use them. Cops and soldiers are taught not to confront an enemy until there´s the right backup and an action plan. That's the proper thing to do when you control the timing and the zone, but it's useless when you have no idea of what's happening inside the

Call it the wages of socialism: Venezuela´s consulate has been evicted for non-payment of its rent since August. What a pretty picture. Seems dirt poor Haiti has no problem maintaining a consulate in Miami, nor wretched Belarus, nor tiny Antigua & Barbuda. Other countries, such as the Gambia, Singapore, Liberia, and Switzerland maintain honorary consulates, usually because their need for one in Miami is minimal but necessary, and they know how to keep costs down. Well, not Venezuela, whose Florida consulate serves more than 102,000 of its nationals, most of whom fled the Chavista socialist horror show, and which has just been

John Kasich’s inner circle is gearing up for a possible presidential run in 2020 — actively weighing the prospect of a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump against the feasibility of a long-shot general election campaign as an independent. And there’s one consideration driving their thinking perhaps more than any other: what some of his advisers consider the very real, maybe even likely, possibility that Trump doesn’t run again — by choice or not — or that the president becomes so politically hobbled by late next year that the political landscape fundamentally shifts in Kasich’s favor.
