Another Sign That November

I explained here why I don’t think that 2018 will be a Democratic blowout along the lines that 2010, for example, was for Republicans. Today more evidence that November won’t be a walk in the park for Democrats came from Minnesota, where 8th District representative Rick Nolan announced that he will not seek re-election: "U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan said Friday that he will not run for re-election this year (Snip) The 8th used to be a Democratic Party bastion, but has been turning increasingly red. Nolan won the seat in 2012 and defended it narrowly in 2014 and 2016, both times

Hundreds of Soros funded voter registration organizations have been busy for a year. They aren´t too picky on citizenship. There had better be many Republican poll judges.

#2 - One of the first things President Trump did was form a Commission on voter integrity. The Dhim controlled states caterwauled and refused to make available even their public records. The Commission was disbanded, however the task was moved to Homeland Security where access to records is easier than for a presidential commission, and also attracts much less enemedia attention.

I trust that Secretary Kirsjen Nielsen, knowing the importance of this issue to POTUS, is making sure our 2018 elections and those in the future are no longer Dhim ballot stuffing exercises.

As a conservative Californian I´m tired of voting for entertainment purposes only.

MAGA - Restoring the integrity of the vote.

It is usually easier for an outsider to defend a person or a group that is attacked than for the person or group. In that vein, this Jew would like to defend evangelicals and other Christians who support President Donald Trump. They are regularly attacked as religious hypocrites who give Christianity in general, and evangelical Christianity in particular, a bad name. The people writing such things are often Christians, including evangelicals. Ross Douthat, New York Times columnist, wrote: "Whether the subject is the debauched pagan in the White House, the mall-haunted candidacy of Roy Moore or the larger question of

Special prosecutor counsel Bob Mueller has one significant scalp on the wall: that of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who pled guilty to one count of lying to the FBI and has yet to be sentenced. But, in a brilliant column, Byron York reviews the sequence of events as we have tortuously come to know them. Based on what we now know (or think we know), it is highly doubtful whether Flynn did anything wrong at all. It is a given that there was nothing wrong with Flynn’s talking to the Russian ambassador, or discussing sanctions with him. As the

Nevertheless, most companies, universities, etc., were cowed into complying with Obama’s “guidances.” Glenn Reynolds offers the definitive commentary: Good. “Guidance” is bullshit. Either do a rule making, or stay home. Rule making under the Administrative Procedure Act requires following an actual process, with public comment and opportunity for appeal. Monday morning, the Smithsonian´s National Portrait Gallery unveiled their official portraits of former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. And while both portraits are the work of avant garde contemporary artists, in this case they might be just a touch too avant garde. Barack Obama´s portrait was done by pop artist Kehinde Wiley, who is well known for his hyper-realistic portraits of African American men and women, often done in the style of the Old Masters or with backgrounds familiar to fans of classical, "old world" European art.
