Democrats Are Headed for
a World of (Deserved) Hurt

After years of non-stop virtue signaling as the party of "truth, justice and equality," the Democrats are slowly, inexorably being revealed to be the reverse. They are being hoisted on the petard of their own moral narcissism. It has made them blind. So convinced of their own righteousness were they that it allowed them to participate in, even instigate, the subversion of our justice system to the extent of lying to and deceiving a FISA court in the name of what they assumed was "good." They did this in concert with people who claimed to be Republicans or "independents" working for

The democrats deserve everything that may come out of this investigation. They are the party of corruption. I have seen this coming for years, I hope that justice is served.

Nothing will happen. If some of them murdered someone on tape nothing would still happen. The "press" and courts will always allow them to skate but if a conservative made a "sexist" comment to some woman thirty years ago they will be ruined. It´s time to end this dichotomy.

This is why the mid-term elections are so important to the democRATS; if they win the house and senate, then these "matters" will be shut down terminally. Till then, they´re running out the clock.

Are they headed for a world of hurt? They seem to be having a ball playing footsie with the Devil. It´s again, as if they know something we do not know. Last election, Hillary Clinton held a rally in the park where I go walking after a "big" appearance here (she barely filled a Hotel conference room). But! at the after rally, held only a mile from my house, she spoke to thousands of hispanics who´s loud cheering of her speech points I could hear while sitting in my back yard. That unsettled me. Did she know something no one else did? Likewise, why should these supposedly intelligent Democrats be performing all these crazy, stupid, political suicide acts knowing full well there is a highly critical mid term election coming right up? Are they really that careless? Are they really that politically inept and disorganized and undisciplined? It unsettles me, thinking they might know something no one else knows. For sure, they will not play the game fairly. What exactly is up their sleeve? Because we can tell it sure as Hell is not politics as usual.

Notice the critical difference in righteousness. The Left speaks in terms of what "I" want. Sure a bunch of them might gather together advocating for the same thing but they have NO standing to say so beyond their OPINION(s).

What most of us want is law, argued out in public and approved by our elected representative. The source of law could certainly be said to be opinion but it was forged in the fires of open debate and put to a vote of our representatives. It is transformed beyond opinion to a standard that ALL can reference and depend on. If enough of us don´t like a law we can push for its repeal or change BUT until such is done, it IS the basis for rational people to follow.

The LAW is the rigid standard our government MUST be held to.

What is the basis for behavior on the Left? Formless and uncertain. Watching dems lately their opinions vary based on what they think will get them points with the public and elected. They were for DACA as a moral imperative UNTIL the shutdown blew up in Chuckie´s face. Now, despite Nancy´s 8 hour stand up comedy routine, they traded it away. I´ll bet DACA families have whiplash.

This is no way to run a Country but it´s the only way that dems know how to act; see which way the wind is blowing and follow it over the cliff.

The GREAT thing now is that the rest of us are no longer along for the ride.

In order for the Democrats to feel any hurt their malfeasance would have to matter to people who support them.

Those people had no problem voting for Hillary despite the private server scandal, obstruction of justice via hammer and bleachbit, Benghazi, Whitewater, covering for her serial rapist husband, filegate, Whitehouse staff whatever gate that was, not to mention what she did to Bernie Sanders.

What would make me think any accountability is likely in the near future?

And by the way Trump said some vulgar stuff. Thought I´d be balanced.

Gun Control Isn’t the Answer

As usual, it seemed to come out of nowhere. And, as usual, it didn’t. The murderer who took the lives of 17 people at a high school in Parkland, Fla., was on everybody’s radar, from the school authorities to the local police to the FBI, which failed to follow its own protocols when a person close to the future killer called to warn the bureau that he was contemplating a school massacre. Everybody knew, nobody did anything. What should be done? Gun control, the Left says, always, offering ideas that range from the trivial to the patently unconstitutional. Whatever the

After 18 months of Russia, Russia, Russia, we finally meet a cast of real Russians. But par for the convoluted course, they were pretending to be Americans. The indictments obtained by special counsel Robert Mueller on Vladimir Putin’s attempts to create discord in the 2016 election and eventually support Donald Trump are important both for what they say and what they don’t say. They offer huge victories for Trump — and thus more defeats for Hillary Clinton — but they don’t close the books on everything about 2016. The very good news for the president is that the indictments are firm in saying

President Donald Trump’s immigration hard-liners proved Thursday it is possible to win even when the outcome of a battle is, on paper, a draw. An immigration overhaul amendment backed by the administration received fewer votes Thursday than three other Senate proposals that also failed to pass the Senate. But the White House emerged from that chamber’s underwhelming and unproductive floor debate in strong shape for future fights on the issue. At first glance, the vote results suggest the White House was the big loser Thursday. After all, a Senate immigration measure it endorsed got the fewest ‘aye’ votes — 39 — with

5 Terrible Things the Media Communicates

In the coming days, we will hear a familiar profile about the Broward County school shooter. (No, I will not name him, for the reason below.) He was mentally deficient. He was a loner. He expressed violent tendencies. And likely, if the pattern holds, he was prescribed some kind of drugs to control his behavior. But there is also a media behavioral profile for these situations, and it is perfectly matched to the desires of a deranged person who would like to go out in a blaze of glory. Here is what the media coverage conveys to every potential shooter out there: 1.

A federal court has unsealed a filing against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in which prosecutors with the special counsel’s office accuse Manafort of conducting “a series of bank frauds,” new, uncharged allegations that come on top of the conspiracy and money laundering charges he already faces. The filing says the government has opposed a more lenient bail package for Manafort “in light of additional criminal conduct that we have learned since the Court’s initial bail determination,” and adds that the conduct in question “includes a series of bank frauds and bank fraud conspiracies.” Manafort already faces a raft of charges

Revelations that the FBI had been warned about Florida high school shooter Nikolaus Cruz fit an all-too-familiar pattern, in which apparent law enforcement errors have preceded mass murders. The FBI was warned about Cruz after he posted on YouTube saying he was going to become a “professional school shooter.” The agency said they couldn’t identify the user who made the threat, despite Cruz posting under his own name. Five months later, Cruz pulled the fire alarm at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began shooting his former classmates with his AR-15. Other mass shooters and terrorists were similarly on the FBI’s radar

The pols and pundits most insistent upon holding a gun-control “conversation” in the wake of mass shootings at schools did the most to turn them into nihilistic wastelands. From the puffed-chest phonies on CNN and MSNBC, we hear a lot about sinister “lobbies” that intimidate passive, cowardly pols. The insufferable Chris Cuomo, whose partisan arrogance is impossible to overstate, rips into this or that Republican for not “standing up” to the NRA. A filibuster-proof majority is a precious thing. Republicans have never had one, ever, but Democrats enjoyed one less than a decade ago. It bears remembering that, as the horror in Parkland yesterday has made this a week in which not one but two Democratic legislative priorities are on the table in which liberal self-righteousness is conspicuous, even by their usual obnoxious standards. Issue one: Immigration. They want a mass amnesty of DREAMers and they’re not willing to give up much to get it because, they reason, they shouldn’t need to. Amnesty is a virtue in itself! WASHINGTON -- For years, I have been saying that the Clintons lie when they do not have to, and that they tell a gigantic whopper when a little white lie would be perfectly adequate. This time-honored observation explains many of their past run-ins with the law. Now, in the lurid aftermath of Hillary Clinton´s surprising defeat by Donald Trump, we see a variation of my observation playing itself out. Eventually, it will probably land some of Clinton´s associates in jail; it will possibly snag even her. In 2016, despite being well ahead in the polls, the Clintons committed various misdemeanors when
