Kim Jong Un’s sister arrives in South Korea

Seoul, South Korea - The plane carrying a high-level North Korean government delegation including leader Kim Jong Un’s sister has arrived in South Korea to attend the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Kim Yo Jong will be the first member of North Korea’s ruling family to set foot in the South since the 1950-53 Korean War. The North Korean officials during their three-day visit beginning Friday will meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, who’s trying to use the Olympics as an opportunity to pull North Korea into meaningful talks over its nuclear program.

Comments:
When negotiations fail, Kim Jong-un sends his sister. Translated: Stay in your hidden bunker for the foreseeable future. This, while you threaten the West by moving forward with a delivery system for your nukes.

What is happening between the Koreas is a result of the existence of President Trump.
(He won´t get credit for it, but...)
If NK sees no way to hustle the U.S., the way they did with Jimmy Carter, Dollar Bill Clinton, and Barack Obola, and China is less likely to save them, NK has to move in the direction of their southern brothers.
Thank you, DJT.

Trump Administration Tells Congress
It Has a Deal to Revive ZTE

Washington - The Trump administration has told lawmakers it has reached a deal that would keep the Chinese telecom firm ZTE alive, a person familiar with the matter said. The move could allow trade negotiations with China to move forward, but would probably provoke an intense backlash in Congress. Under the agreement brokered by the Commerce Department, ZTE would pay a substantial fine, hire American compliance officers to be placed at the firm and make changes to its current management team. The president of the labor union representing Border Patrol agents criticized President Trump’s move to deploy the National Guard to the U.S.-Mexico border, calling it a “colossal waste of resources.” Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, said the union has “seen no benefit” from the deployment of about 1,600 troops so far, according to the Los Angeles Times on Thursday. Judd said he originally supported the move because past deployments have been helpful to the Border Patrol, but that this time, “that has not happened at all.” "When I found out the National Guard was going to be on the border.

A US Senate committee has passed a defence bill that would see Turkey barred from purchasing Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike fighter jets as tensions continue over its detention of US citizen Andrew Brunson. The Israeli Supreme Court has fully backed the army’s policy of shooting unarmed Palestinian protesters in the occupied Gaza Strip, issuing its decision yesterday in response to two petitions filed by human rights groups. According to legal rights centre Adalah, one of the petitioners, the court’s decision gives a “a green light to its continued use of snipers and live fire against Palestinian protesters”. Three Supreme Court justices unanimously rejected both petitions, one of which was filed by Adalah and Al-Mezan, the other by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, Yesh Din, Gisha and HaMoked. FDA´s pitiful, politicized press to

The Food and Drug Administration issued parents some stern warnings about teething medicines for their babies, and simultaneously told manufacturers and retailers that if they didn’t “voluntarily” stop selling the product to the tiny toddler demographic, they would face legal action from the feds. Voluntary compliance — gotta love the federal definition of that, yes? But the bigger question with this FDA message to consumers is this: Why now? And the bigger theme, of course, would be this: Shouldn’t parents, rather than government, be the final deciders of what’s best for their babies? After all, the FDA has been warning about the

Trump has publicly signaled his desire to ease the restrictions on ZTE as he seeks China´s cooperation on North Korea talks and hammering out a trade deal. The summit was to take place June 12th in Singapore. Trump did leave the door open to a future meeting. “I felt a wonderful dialogue was building up between you and me, and ultimately, it is only that dialogue that matters.

According to Klemko, some are discussing ways to skirt new rules "just to spite the NFL." The policy removes a requirement for players to be on the field for the anthem, and gives players the option to stay in the locker room. Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.

Democrats and their media allies are again shouting “constitutional crisis,” this time claiming President Trump has waded too far into the Russia investigation. The howls are a diversion from the actual crisis: the Justice Department’s unprecedented contempt for duly elected representatives, and the lasting harm it is doing to law enforcement and to the department’s relationship with Congress. The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question.
