Tucker Carlson Slams ‘Demented’
House Intel Committee Dems —
Calls Attacks ‘McCarthyite’

Breitbart Video, by Jeff Poor

Original Article

Posted By:sagman, 2/7/2018 3:38:13 PM

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson opened his show by slamming congressional Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee for those questioning the merits of their investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Carlson referred to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the ranking Democrat on the House Intel Committee, and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), another member of that committee and called those attacks “McCarthyite.”

Comments:
The clip ends with Carlson warning that we´re in a world of hurt if Dems take the House back in November. Think Pelosi as Speaker again and Schiff chair of the Intelligence Committee. I see people saying there´s no difference in the Parties, they´ll all corrupt, or spineless, whatever. Believe whatever you want about the GOP, but If Dems take the House, it will be a body blow to our system, a point I´ll elaborate on in an upcoming blog post at American Thinker.

Senator Murphy Demonstrates Why
Gun-Control Advocates Are Mistrusted

Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut released this statement on Twitter today: Let’s call it like it is: the horrifying inaction of Congress, slaughter after slaughter, has become a green light to would-be shooters, who pervert silence into endorsement. — Chris Murphy (@ChrisMurphyCT) May 18, 2018 - This is pretty strong stuff. And yet I’m left unclear as to what exactly Murphy is talking about. As the New York Times has confirmed, the shooter in Texas used a shotgun and a .38-caliber revolver — and nothing else besides. Moreover, because he was 17-years-old, he was ineligible to purchase a gun either privately or

If collusion is the twin of conspiracy, then there are lots of colluders running around Washington. Robert Mueller was tasked to find evidence of Trump and Russia collusion that might have warped the 2016 campaign and thrown the election to Trump. After a year, his investigation has found no concrete evidence of collusion. So it has often turned to other purported Trump misadventures. Ironically, collusion of all sorts — illegal, barely legal, and simply unethical — has been the sea that Washington fish always swim in.

After the Commerce Department decided to ask if people filling out the census are citizens, the crazed racial Left mobilized and called the change the return of Jim Crow. The change to the Census was a plot against minorities. To them, Jim Crow keeps returning again and again. His return has more sequels than Rocky. Jim Crow first came back as Voter ID. Jim Crow returned as keeping voter rolls clean. Then Jim Crow rode into town, again, when Kansas sought to ensure that only citizens are registering to vote.

After flirting with a veto threat on a massive spending bill that doesn´t fund a concrete border wall, President Trump signed the omnibus to avert a government shutdown. (Snip) A veto would have resulted in a government shutdown at midnight. He´d tweeted earlier in the day, "I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill (Snip) . . . . But because of the incredible gains that we´ve been able to make for the military, that overrode any of our thinking," he said at a hastily arranged news conference.

No one following the Russian-collusion and related dramas should be in any doubt about the steady flow of the balance of damaging evidence away from Trump and on to his accusers. It is clear that the hierarchy of the FBI and analogues in the Justice Department and intelligence services, horrified at the thought of a Trump victory though confident it would not occur, took liberties — in the soft treatment of Hillary Clinton’s email and uranium problems, and in abetting the Clinton campaign’s effort to smear Trump with the Russian-collusion argument.

Barack Obama keeps a close watch on his emotions. “I loved Spock,” he wrote in February 2015 in a presidential statement eulogizing Leonard Nimoy. Growing up in Hawaii, the young man who would later be called “No-Drama Obama” felt a special affinity for the Vulcan first officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise. “Long before being nerdy was cool, there was Leonard Nimoy,” the eulogy continued. “Leonard was Spock. Cool, logical, big-eared and level-headed.” It is the rare occasion when Obama lets his Spock mask slip. But November 2, 2016, was just such a moment.

Why? We went hunting on the way home. None of those guns ever walked into a school, none of those guns ever shot anybody... Did the gun change or did you as a society change?

It´s mid-February and the flu patients keep coming. Flu vaccine and screening supplies are becoming scarce at the Findlay, Ohio, medical practice where family nurse practitioner Gina Vaughn sees her patients. The influx continues as the infection spreads. "The flu season has just gotten out of control because people are not staying home," she laments. "They´re not using common sense." Slogging through the flu is miserable enough. If you try to tough it out at the workplace or power through in public, you´re not doing yourself – or anyone else – a favor.

After a year of relentless attacks from the press — 90 percent negative coverage from the networks, according to Media Research Center, three times worse than Obama´s coverage, according to Pew — Donald Trump´s poll numbers are rising. That probably seems like a paradox if you live in mid-town Manhattan where virtually every major news source is headquartered. But if you live somewhere else — like the real world — the reason is obvious: reality has a voice. I´ll tell you what I mean. I was a liberal once.

The House Intelligence Committee memo is pretty simple. It should not have been classified and thus far withheld from the public. In fact, far more information now needs to be released. Despite the outcry, as Chairman Devin Nunes clarified, the memo can easily be in the near future supported or refuted by adducing official documents. In other words, the memo makes a series of transparent statements and leaves it up to the criminal-justice system and the public to ascertain subsequent criminal liability. It is likely that the basic accuracy of the document will not be questioned, but rather opponents, some of them mentioned in the memo, will either ask why the resulting embarrassing information needed to be aired or insist

Former first lady Laura Bush tore into the Trump administration for separating migrant families at the border, calling the “zero tolerance” policy “cruel” and “immoral.” Bush penned an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was published Sunday night as public outcry over the hundreds of children in detention centers intensified. “I live in a border state,” Bush wrote. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.” Bush’s commentary comes as more images and accounts from inside the detention centers have

The state of Illinois has approved $224 million to pay for street and transportation projects in Chicago´s South Side neighborhood around the Obama Presidential Center site, $199 million of which will fall directly on the shoulders of Illinois taxpayers. Christian leaders across the country have taken issue with Attorney General Jeff Session´s usage of the Bible as justification of his policy that is separating thousand of immigrant families at the border. Sessions cited Romans 13 to attempt to justify how separating families was ordained by God because ´orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful.´ For religious leaders who still weren´t pleased with his usage of scripture, he offered them to ´speak up strongly to urge anyone who would come here to apply lawfully, to wait their turn and not violate the law.´

The president of Harvard´s teaching hospital got to thinking one day and decided there were too many portraits of white male doctors hung in a popular amphitheater. She bemoaned the horrible situation that people walking into the amphitheater didn´t feel like they "belonged." The problem cried out for a solution. So she moved several portraits of prominent white doctors in order to be more diverse and inclusive. Problem solved?
