Some foreboding as Mexico´s

What´s going on in Mexico? When I hear that remittances have hit an all-time record high, at $28.7 billion, all I can think is something bad is going on, obviously in their economy. Because nobody goes to the states, illegally or otherwise, unless the risk outweighs the reward. The thing is, Mexico is not the worst place to live in Latin America - it´s actually one of the best. Here in the states, we may see much of Mexico´s lowlife and think that´s the standard, because border jumping is what lowlife do (and it actually goes both ways, our badguys head

Why don´t we tax these remittances and pay for The Wall with those $$$...thus Mexico does end up paying for it?

And I never vacation in states that support ILLEGALS and a socialist government...I don´t even get anything from that Vermont catalog because Vermont keeps re-electiing that socialt/commie beanie sanders. Nothing that comes frm that state comes into my home.

If you divide that number by say, 5000, that works out to 5.74 million people sending $5000 per year to Mexico. If you divide by 10,000, that is 2.87 million people sending $10,000 per year to Mexico.
Since not everyone of Mexican descent is sending a large pile of money back every month, there must be substantially more Mexicans here than is reported. Most of them illegal criminals. You can subtract the so-called Dreamers from that number of people that send money back, because their illegal criminal parents are here in the U.S.
I am in a really bad mood today. I just figured out my tax bill for this year.
You are welcome, all of you lowlife trash.

I remember Obrador when he ran against Felipe Calderon 12 years ago. When he lost, he refused to concede and set up a shadow government, with his own appointed ministers, in the Zucalo. Calderon let him play his silly little game until it fizzled. The man is truly dangerous to Mexico. Once he gets the presidential seat, he´ll never let go; just like Hugo Chavez and Maduro. Mexicans: vote for Obrador at your own peril.

#5 Most of the money being sent is payments for drugs smuggled into the US. It is safer than carrying suitcases of cash across the border, and leaves little paper trail.
Of the remainder another large chunk goes to pay the human smugglers.

One year’s remittances of $28.7 billion US dollars out of the USA economy, being sent back to Mexico by Mexicans is a lot more then any effective borderline barrier (the wall) would cost. Now add to that all the billions of dollars that the USA has been spending throughout the USA each year because of mass uncontrolled illegal immigration and you are talking about big money!

Track them back to the remitters and have them PROVE that the money is legally earned. Deport all who cannot, and fine Western Union 1.5X each illegal remittance.

The people who are best described as members of a renewable energy cult are lately promoting the idea that we should run the country on 100% renewable energy, whatever that is. I say "whatever that is" because different branches of the cult have different definitions of renewable energy. It seems to be a matter of fashion and prejudice. One definition of renewable energy is that it is naturally replenished on a human timescale. Solar energy and wind energy fit in nicely with that definition. Most fans of renewable energy explicitly reject renewable hydroelectricity if it involves damming a river. Most renewable

A new report out from Bloomberg (first spotted on Axios Vitals) signals that China has more ways to defeat us than merely through its military buildup: Federal prosecutors in Mississippi charged [Chinese national] Yan, 41, in September with leading an empire built on the manufacture and sale of drugs related to fentanyl, one of the world´s deadliest and most profitable narcotics. So strong that it´s been studied as a chemical weapon, the drug has saturated American streets with breathtaking speed: It kills more people than any other opioid, including prescription pills and heroin, because it´s so easy to overdose.

Back in December 1972, Nicaragua was hit by a horrible earthquake. It killed 10,000 people, devastated villages, and may have been the beginning of the end of Somoza´s reign. The damage exposed the corruption and inefficiencies of the regime. A couple of days ago, an air crash in Cuba killed 100 people and exposed some serious problems in the Castro regime. My good Cuban friend, Dr. Carlos Eire, brought this item to my attention: Cuba´s problems have gotten so bad that, a few weeks ago, the country grounded most of its domestic flights because of safety concerns over its fleet.
