Fatal high school stabbing leaves
Westchester enclave shaken to its core

New York Post, by Gabrielle Fonrouge

In the final moments of her life, 16-year-old Valaree Schwab was just trying to get back her house keys. The New Rochelle High School junior had slipped out for lunch at around noon on Jan. 10 despite a policy against leaving campus at the award-winning school. She was soon knocked to the ground and robbed at a nearby McDonald’s by a gang of school bullies. Then her teenage tormentors — who harassed her on a daily basis about her tattoos, love for the band Nirvana and affinity for social activism — proceeded to stalk her for the next hour. They

It is obvious from this article that the liberals running our schools are clueless. There is a big difference between ´bullying´ and murder. I don´t care how much violence and social media the little darlings are exposed to. Zero morals or sense of right and wrong is a direct result of liberal education and absent parenting.

FTA: "Well, Mom, I hope I don’t get stabbed today." How tragic.

Today´s children seem to have had much less church background than my generation. As a child I wrote out and posted the Ten Commandments on my bedroom wall. Every Sunday my family went to church. (The late NFL Champion Chicago Bears quarterback Bill Wade was among my Sunday School teachers. A sweeter, nicer Christian than he would be hard to imagine.) What we learned at home and at church was to love the Lord and each other, to have respect for others.

As a Boy Scout I carried my Scout pocket knife to school every day, whether I wore my uniform or not. Today I´d be arrested for that. As a small, serious child I was bullied unmercifully at times. I punched one of my tormentors and later picked up a large tree limb, and broke it over his head. (That ended the bullying.) But stabbing anyone would never have occurred to me, or to any of my classmates.

These soulless teenagers who delight in injuring of killing others have got one foot in prison.

In 1970s Detroit one student caught a schoolmate alone in a hall during class, pulled a knife, and backed him into a corner, demanding money. The other pulled out a .38 and blew away the would be robber. Detroit.

FTA:

“Behavioral experts aren’t sure how fast change can come.”

I know, but then again I have the advantage of not being an expert.

We have broken the family unit, thanks Democrats. We punish fatherhood therefore have less of it. Regardless of any other aspects of the societal change launched in 1964 some of which I consider positive, we sent a second parent into the workforce to pay for the great welfare state.

We love to blame what kids have these days but can´t admit the impact of what they don´t have, intact families and a parent whose primary job is being there for their children.

Now suddenly, the leading edge of the children impacted by that breakdown are the parents. We are rapidly becoming a society without a generational link to the old family focus of which religion played a major part.

For the record I´m no where near as convinced I have all the answers, everything right, but couldn´t resist slamming the "experts."

A racist group of blacks harassing and murdering a lone white person.
This happens almost every day, how can this be considered news?
Also, pepper spray? Great for wasps, but unless well trained in use it merely pisses off your attacker, as happened here.
Humans have stopped being dangerous by disarming themselves and the wildlife have figured it out.

This isn´t "bullying", this is gang violence.

The breakdown, the destruction, of the traditional nuclear family is the central reason for the proliferation of a myriad of social ills including disobedience to authorities, violence which increasingly is lethal.

Some years ago i saw a fascinating documentary on a problem among young elephants in Africa where the animals were actually seeking out and killing humans.

Researchers discovered that these elephants had been separated from their parents and kept in an area with other young males.

WITHOUT the influence of adult males, these adolescents went rogue. Fortunately, when returned to the herd, the adult males brought them under control and "civilized" them.

Leftist social engineers have wreaked havoc on the family, on children, on the relationship between men and women, spouses, parents and children.

For example, they encourage children to participate in protest marches, which always have hatred of their opponents as the motivator.

Look at the items at the little makeshift memorial for the murdered girl: flowers, balloons, candy, teddy bears. Always lots of teddy bears.

When did people past the age of toddler, grieving the end of a young girl´s earthly life, stop thinking of moral accounting, grace, judgment, heaven and hell, and start thinking of balloons?

When did people, mourning an innocent victim of criminal violence, stop thinking of the crucified Lord and the awesome cost of redemption, and start thinking of teddy bears?

I think kids are being raised with no serious, solid moral foundation and no transcendent sense of their own nature, their meaning or their direction and destiny.

They don´t know where they came from, why they´re here, or where they´re going.

Parents: malpractice

Churches: AWOL

Society: a spiritual vacuum, expecting kids to act decently with no more guidance than a pack of bonobos.

Several Republican candidates for governor of Oklahoma urged GOP Gov. Oklahoma currently requires a license to carry a handgun openly or concealed and charges handgun license applicants a fee of up to $200.
