Chuck Schumer: ´We will vote
today to reopen the government´

Washington Examiner, by Susan Ferrechio

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/22/2018 12:36:55 PM

The Senate on Monday was set to hold a successful vote to reopen the federal government, after Senate Democrats agreed to let the bill through even though it doesn´t include immigration language they are seeking. "We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor. Under the bill up to be called up, the government would be fully funded through Feb. 8, and it would fund the Children´s Health Insurance Program for six years. It would also reopen the government, which has been partially closed since midnight

Comments:
How big of him. He makes my skin crawl. What did the Republicans give away to get that agreement? That makes me nervous!! So we get to do this all over again on February 8. That not the way you are supposed to budget the government!

Chuck Schumer is now out there fraudulently claiming that the government shutdown is a Trump forced shutdown in other words the Trump Shutdown. That is bogus as Trump is not a member of the Senate, and it was the Senate Democrats who voted against the Continuing Resolution that did not contain any provisions that they actually opposed, thus forcing a government shutdown, to show the leftwing of the Democrat Party that they are continuing to defend and protect illegal aliens who the Democrats believe will eventually become socialist oriented Democrat voters.

Trump wasn´t keeping people from the WWII monument like Obama did to punish people.

The longer the Schumer shutdown lasted, Chuck likely was looking at justifying massive reductions in government employment by illustrating how little people "hurt" from having hundreds of thousands of non-essential workers not on the job.

And, with over 1 million not on food stamps anymore, they don´t need as many workers administering the program.

The Bolshevik Revolution turned 100 last October. The specificity here is pretty damning. The FBI released a stunning admission today admitting they received prior a specific warning about Broward County Nikolas Cruz and his threats to carry out a school shooting. The FBI took no action. (Snip) The backdrop of this admission is especially troublesome as the FBI previously also admitted they were forewarned about the Tsarnaev brothers in the Boston Marathon Bombing 2013 and did nothing; and perhaps even more disturbing was the prior warning about the 2016 Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooter Omar Mateen. Federal deportation officers staged one of the biggest enforcement actions in years against businesses in Los Angeles this week, arresting 212 people and serving audit notices to 122 businesses who will have to prove they aren’t hiring illegal immigrants. Nearly all of those arrested were convicted criminals, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE said it targeted Los Angeles because it’s a sanctuary city, meaning it refuses to fully cooperate with federal authorities on deportations from within its jails. That means agents and officers have to go out into the community, said Thomas D. Homan, the agency’s deputy director.

The nation’s adoration of moderate former Democratic President John F. Kennedy continues, making him the most popular recent president, according to a new survey. A new University of Virginia Center for Politics-Reuters/Ipsos survey, released in advance of President´s Day, found on a 1 to 10 rating that Kennedy had the best, followed by Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. And while another recent poll found that Reagan was the past president most wanted to return to the White House, it is now Obama at the top. Special counsel Robert Mueller is not yet done investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election after indicting 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for seeking to interfere in the 2016 election, according to a report Friday. The probe is also seeking to determine if Trump obstructed justice, the person said. Mueller has not publicly confirmed that his team has ever looked into possible efforts obstruct justice.

The criminal indictment of 13 Russians for allegedly trying to influence “U.S. political and electoral processes” provides no evidence of any collusion between these Russians – or any other Russian officials – and the Trump campaign in the 2016 presidential race. While the description of alleged Russian activities is very troubling, it is important to note that the indictment makes no mention of any hacking or other activity that changed ballots, vote counts, or actually interfered with the election.
