It Seems The DNC Chair Really Hates His Job

Say, whatever happened to that guy who got stuck with the job of being DNC Chairman last year? You remember him, right… Tom Perez? He’s sort of dropped off the media radar lately. Maybe he’s just busy raising money and gearing up for the midterms. That would make sense, but things aren’t always that simple in the real world. I noticed a press release from the RNC this week which claims that Perez has been holed up in his office quite a bit and DNC insiders are saying that although he campaigned for the position with great gusto, Perez actually

Maybe Hillary will "loan" the DNC some money. Just watch out for the "interest rates" Tom; usually your immortal soul or some such.

Of course Hillary and Tom don´t really like each other much.

Perez is finding out that just being angry all the time isn´t a guarantee for getting necessary funds. The guys with the cash want to win. The angry wing of the dem party doesn´t know how to do that. (Kind of like how the elite wing of the Republican party didn´t know how to win either.) Neither do they understand the need. They are furious. They should get what they want, right? Even if they often have a hard time defining exactly what that is.

Well, well, well the dog caught the car he was chasing so desperately and now doesn´t know what to do with it or has found out it wasn´t what he thought it would be.

"Dog" in this case is just a metaphor and my apologies to all the members of the canine persuasion who are far superior to this lowlife piece of trash. And yes he is so creepy.

Trump Is Still the Leader of the Free World

In the weeks after President Donald Trump was sworn in last year, German chancellor Angela Merkel was widely acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic as the real leader of the free world. This year, French president Emanuel Macron is getting some of the same buzz from foreign-policy-establishment types and liberal think tanks. It’s easy to see why. Both are seen as the polar opposite of Trump. Both have a more dignified demeanor, champion Western values of democracy, and enthusiastically embrace the notion of collective security rather than the president’s neo-isolationist “America First” foreign policy. In the eyes of most observers,

With today’s bombshell about Iran’s ongoing nuclear weapons program, the wreckage of Barack Obama’s foreign policy is coming into focus. Syria: the “red line” fiasco, with hundreds of thousands killed. North Korea: a do-nothing policy that brought America’s West Coast perilously close to coming under nuclear threat. Iran: a deal that would have been foolish even if the mullahs hadn’t cheated, $100 billion and sanctions relief now, in exchange for promises that Iran could walk away from at will. We now know that the deal was even worse than that. Those were the biggest disasters, but not the only ones.

Since Barack Obama weaponized the FBI, the IRS, the NSA, the FISA court, and the CIA, citizens who believe that America is a nation of laws have been on a collision course with progressives. Core constitutional tenets including checks and balances, equality under the law, innocent until proven guilty, and no man is above the law have been replaced with identity politics, victim culture, and weakened First and Second Amendments. Apocryphally, Bismarck said: "God looks out for idiots, drunkards, children, and the United States of America." Thank God for Inspector General Michael E. Netanyahu’s bombshell should

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just dropped his own bombshell on the Iran nuclear deal, citing a secret archive obtained by the Mossad that he says proves conclusively “Iran lied — big time.” In a dramatic English-language speech and PowerPoint presentation, Netanyahu on Monday reproduced documents, slides and animation from among 100,000 pages he said showed Iran secretly hid in a bunker. The archive, he said, shows conclusively that Iran lied when it denied ever having a nuclear-weapons program. More important, he cited documents suggesting that while Iran shut down that program, Operation Amad, in 2003, it actually continued the work

Are We Really Ready For A Yellowstone Eruption?

Reuters picked up a quirky science story this weekend which caught my attention and it has to do with Yellowstone National Park. Steamboat Geyser, the largest “active” geyser in the world, erupted on Friday. The typical response should be along the lines of so what? It’s Yellowstone. The place is full of geysers. All true, except Steamboat also erupted on April 19th. And it erupted on March 15th. Still doesn’t sound unusual to you? Before that, the last time it erupted was in 2014. It’s a very inactive geyser. 2003 was the last time that it had three eruptions over

With so much attention being paid in recent weeks to former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels and others, one of the most interesting cases of a candidate potentially breaking federal law during the 2016 election has largely been forgotten by the press and, it seems, law enforcement officials: In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign possibly violated federal election law — or, at the very least, the spirit of it. Below is the evidence against Mrs. Clinton’s campaign. As The Washington Postreported in October 2017, during the 2016 election cycle, the Democratic

It started with Kanye and ended with Kim, featuring Emmanuel and Angela in between: this week showed President Trump upending expectations and confounding his critics on an epic scale. But perhaps the most revealing thing about it all was not what it said about the president but instead the light that it shined on the army of elitists arrayed against him – in politics, the media and the foreign policy establishment. There’s something truly instructive about their reactions to the developments of the past few days. There´s an intense conflict brewing between some Capitol Hill Republicans and fired FBI Director James Comey. The Republicans say Comey has been lying about what he told them in a March 2017 meeting. Comey says he never said what the Republicans say he said. The Republicans say there´s a transcript — not just of Comey´s testimony but of fired top FBI deputy Andrew McCabe, too — that will prove them right. But so far, the intelligence community has prevented that proof from seeing the light of day. A resolution to the matter might come as soon as the next few days. The

The 2018 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner should be the last. It never has been a particularly good idea for journalists to don their fanciest clothes and cozy up to the people they cover, alongside Hollywood celebrities who have ventured to wonky Washington to join the fun. But in the current era, it’s become close to suicidal for the press’s credibility. Trust in the mainstream media is low, a new populism has caught fire all over the Western world, and President Trump constantly pounds the news media as a bunch of out-of-touch elites who don’t represent the interests of real Americans. Black women face “high levels of anxiety” about their hair more often than white women, according to a 2016 “Good Hair” study by the Perception Institute. Among the 27 large urban districts for which the Department of Education published 2017 NAEP test scores, the Detroit public schools had the lowest percentage of students who scored proficient or better in math and the lowest percentage who scored proficient or better in reading.
