The first year of Donald Trump´s unorthodox presidency may have been a dizzying ride, but Belinda Miller has never regretted voting for him in 2016.´My 401(k) and my 403 have soared and, if anybody doesn´t realize that, they´ve been asleep for a year,´ said Miller, a 50-year-old emergency room nurse from Audubon, Pennsylvania, referring to her retirement accounts´ growth in a booming stock market.´I look overall not at what he says but what he does. All that other stuff is just rhetoric, smoke and mirrors,´ she added. The Philadelphia suburb where Miller lives in Montgomery County was key to Trump´s surprising

My 401K is up 25% since the election and I´m fairly conservative in my portfolio allocation. During the 0bama years, I might as well have had it in a traditional savings account. President Trump is going to be the difference between a comfortable retirement, and a difficult one.

If you weren’t already disgusted with how far left the American university system has gotten, this should pretty much set you over the edge. You may remember former Drexel and present NYU ‘scholar-in-residence’, Professor George Ciccariello-Maher, from his now infamous “All I want for Christmas is white genocide” tweet that went viral last year and ultimately sparked enough backlash that Drexel terminated him.Ciccariello-Maher’s twitter account is a sickening mix of anti-American, anti-male, and anti-white rhetoric (ironic considering he is a white American man) but this sort of far-left self-hatred is far too common these days. White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley had a disappointing response for unhinged liberal actor Robert De Niro, who said recently President Donald Trump is banned from the Nobu restaurant chain he co-owns. “I don’t think the President is planning on attending a dinner at Nobu anytime soon,” Gidley said. “Look, Hollywood people grandstand all the time, they’re elitists,” he added. “They don’t know anything about what this president is doing for the American people and they couldn’t care less. Not only did De Niro say Trump’s not welcome in any of his establishments, he went so far as to

Then came an electrifying moment — detailed allegations that another powerful man had sexually assaulted or harassed dozens of women as one of Hollywood’s leading producers. “It just explodes. It was like throwing a match into a bucket of kerosene,” said Kathy Spillar, executive director of the Feminist Majority Foundation, describing the reaction to accusations against Harvey Weinstein that helped launch the #MeToo movement.

Hillary Clinton continued to attack the Electoral College system used to elect U.S. presidents on Friday, calling it an "odd system" and contrary to the idea of "one person, one vote." President Barack Obama took a light swing at his successor during a tech conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday. His eight years in office were scandal free, he told the audience. Until 1968, Walter Cronkite believed what his government told him about the Vietnam War. He was an old-school journalist, a patriot, a man who came of age covering World War II as a wire-service reporter and then taking over as the anchor of “The CBS Evening News” at the height of the Cold War. Like most journalists of his generation, he embraced the fight against communism and understood why the United States had intervened in the war raging in Vietnam. When he’d visited Vietnam on a reporting trip early in the war, he’d been annoyed by the attitude of the young
