´Piece of Garbage´: Michael Dukakis
Rips Tax Law, Blasts Wall Proposal

Fox News, by Staff

Original Article

1988 Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis ripped President Trump´s new tax law and offered optimism for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections. Dukakis, a former governor of the Bay State during the so-called economic "Massachusetts Miracle," said Republicans have lost their way when it comes to supporting fiscal responsibility. He questioned why they would champion a tax plan that may have costly ramifications for the national deficit. (Snip) "We just passed a tax bill, which I think is a piece of garbage," Dukakis, who lost his presidential bid to then-Vice President George Bush, said. "Look at these companies, though, that are

Talk about a piece of garbage! I have no idea why in the world Neil would waste any valuable time with that worthless, pathetic, useless LOSER! I can´t think of anything positive he has ever done. Whenever I hear his name I still can see that idiot in the Army tank.Link below. He perfectly exemplifies the belligerance, incompetence and all that is wrong with the Democrats.

I’m confused - is this the same National Deficit that the Democrats paid no attention to for eight years. I’m pretty sure most of that wasn’t Bush’s fault.

I had higher hopes for the new Neil Cavuto show, which debuted today. Having Mike "Tank" Dukakis on to trash the president and the tax cut left me cold. What a complete waste of air time.

Hey, Mikey - get a clue. The so-callede "Massachusetts Miracle" was a Republican phenomenon. You just happened to be there to steal credit for it.

I watched the interviews and poor Mike and Neil were asleep at the switch! The Oct before the election of 2000. The Cole was attacked, and from the time of the attack the investigation was flawed, the FBI were all but shut down by Yemen and the US Ambassador, this was followed by a contentious election, and our eyes where off the ball, within 11 months we were we had “911” which shocked the US system!

Clinton let, the Cole happen, North Korea march to nuclear weapons and the Graddady of them all Bin Laden continued his plot to attack America!

Clinton was handed a perfect hand, Cold War over, Saddam Hussein kick out of Kuwait, Hussein in a controlled environment. And Clintion on the strength balance the Republican led budget, until the as far as
the eye can see surpluses vanished because Clinton did nothing to contain Bin Laden even with sufficient warning

We are where we are today because of Clintion and his Security failure and letting Raines of Fannie Mae run the real estate fiinancing lier loans , no doc loans blow us up in 2008! Bush fought hard to contain the agency disregard for loan quality and the charge of Barney Fran and Sen Dodd! They planted the seeds of moral and financial destruction of the USA
Mike you can dream on but you are lying to yourself
Shame on Neal and his producers for not offering a challenge

H.W. Bush´s 1988 Dukakis tank commercial was fiendishly effective. I remember laughing seeing the governor in that Snoopy hat, hearing the wheels inside the tread squeaking, and thinking to myself: This weak lefty will never be commander in chief. In a contemporaneous skit SNL had a Dukakis look alike saying, more or less, "I´m going to get beaten really badly. I´m going to get creamed." Squeak squeak squeak.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LyYD166ync

My then 8-year-old godson, after hearing my nickname for Dukakis, "Du-tax-us," repeated it to his horrified grammar school teacher and his classmates, most of whom were Greek-Americans, Democrats, and liberals. Hearing that really shook ´em up.

I didn´t want a kakistocracy, or government by the worst people.

The other killer moment of that campaign was at the presidential debate when Bernard Shaw asked liberal, anti-death penalty Dukakis, "Governor, if your wife Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?"

Showing no emotion, passion, or even love for his wife, Mikey replied coldly, "No, I wouldn´t, Bernard. And I think you know that I´ve opposed the death penalty during all of my life."

Debate over. Campaign over.

‘Cruz just dropped out of the race. It’s going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable.” It was a little after midnight on May 4, 2016. FBI lawyer Lisa Page was texting her paramour, FBI counterespionage agent Peter Strzok, about the most stunning development to date in the 2016 campaign: Donald Trump was now the inevitable Republican nominee. He would square off against Hillary Clinton, the Democrats’ certain standard-bearer. The race was set . . . between two major-party candidates who were both under investigation by the FBI. That’s according to emails obtained under a Freedom of Information request from a reporter from the Baltimore Post. On the morning of Dec. 14, 2012, a 20-year-old man killed his mother in their home then traveled to Sandy Hook Elementary School — a semi-automatic rifle and two pistols in tow. He broke into the school and killed another 26 people — 20 of them

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper writes in his new book, "Facts and Fears" that he has "no doubt" the Russian influence campaign swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. MSNBC´s Rachel Maddow read a short excerpt from the book, available now, ahead of an interview with Clapper Tuesday night. "As a private citizen, I had no doubt they influence at least some voters. Looking at the savvy ways Russians targeted specific user groups -- for instance, buying advertisements on Facebook promoting Clinton´s support of the Black Lives Matter movement and ensuring those ads ran only on the pages of

Why exactly did nearly half the country vote for Donald Trump? Why also did the arguments of Never Trump Republicans and conservatives have marginal effect on voters? Despite vehement denunciations of the Trump candidacy from many pundits on the right and in the media, Trump nonetheless got about the same percentage of Republican voters (88–90 percent) as did McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012, who both were handily defeated in the Electoral College. Here are some of reasons voters knew what they were getting with Trump and yet nevertheless assumed he was preferable to a Clinton presidency. 1) Was Trump

The NFL Players’ Association (NFLPA) on Wednesday criticized the league for its new national anthem policy. In a statement, the union said it would review the new policy and “challenge any aspect of it that is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement.” The union accused the league of contradicting its previous statements, and of ignoring players’ wishes in developing the new policy, which instructs that all team and league personnel should stand for the national anthem. “The NFL chose to not consult the union in the development of this new ‘policy,’” the union said in a statement. “NFL players have

NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell said she thinks American diplomacy is better on TV than in real life. On Monday, Mitchell interviewed actor Erich Bergen, co-star of the CBS “Madam Secretary” in which Tea Leoni plays CIA-analyst-turned-Secretary-of-State Elizabeth McCord. Mitchell praised the show for its portrayal of what she thinks diplomacy should look like rather what it has been since President Trump took office. “As we’ve had a downturn at the State Department, at least it’s one place we can watch diplomacy in action, at least once a week on Sunday night,” Mitchell said.

Though the new policy is not expected to become official until later Wednesday afternoon, Schefter tweeted the reported details: (Snip) On Tuesday, it was reported that the league would assess 15-yard penalties to teams whose players protested on the sidelines. Lawyers for President Donald Trump are increasingly skeptical of letting him give an interview with prosecutors running the Russia investigation, but are thinking through how to prepare him for the possible high-stakes session nonetheless. Rudy Giuliani, one of the president’s outside lawyers, said in an interview Tuesday that he is currently opposed to letting Mr. Trump field questions from Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Noting the perils of talking to prosecutors, Mr. Giuliani said that were the president to testify he could “talk himself into becoming a target.” Other people close to Mr. Trump’s legal team have voiced a similar view, worried that

Doing so violates their First Amendment right to free speech because Twitter is a “public forum,” Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald wrote in a landmark ruling that could change how public officials use Twitter. “We reject the defendants’ contentions that the First Amendment does not apply in this case and that the President’s personal First Amendment interests supersede those of plaintiffs,” the judge wrote in her 75-page ?decision.
