Blame Dems For Gov’t shutdown

Many of the country’s top media outfits blamed the Democratic Party for allowing the government to shutdown instead of bridging a budget impasse with Republicans in the Senate. “U.S. Shutdown Starts as Senate Democrats Block GOP Funding Plan” a Bloomberg headline blared early Saturday morning, referring to the Senate’s inability to agree on a variety of budgetary issues. The New York Times and AP chimed in with similar headlines. Republican and Democratic leaders have not stopped talking through their differences. Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, for instance, said late Friday night that the conflict has a “really

Really? So these leftward MSM entities have blamed Schumer and other Senate Democrats for shutting down the government? Wow. Will wonders ever cease? Or is it just so clear that even an imbecile would know?

The Democrats are going to the mats to have their illegal voters legalized. That´s what this is all about, going back to the Clinton era Motor Voter Bill, automatically registering a new voter when said illegal alien gets a driver´s license. Despite a lot of resistance from the Left, preventing and ending voter fraud is a winning issue for the Republicans if they don´t wilt. I know President Trump won´t back down on an issue like this, and pray the rest of the Republicans will get behind him. Make our elections legitimate again! No more non-citizens at the polls, and any who vote should be summarily deported.

The main question is how big a miscalculation the Democrats have made. It could come back not just to bite them in the butt but to turn said butt into mown grass, if you know what I mean. And the shutdown, such as it may be, won´t be carried out the way Ubama did it, deliberately inconveniencing as many citizens as possible. Heck, non-essential government employees (making twice the income of workers in the private sector) can be identified and marked for being laid off. Permanently.

Obama closed facilities that didn´t need to be closed. He even closed unmanned facilities by sending government employees out on overtime pay to prevent people from going there.

I suggest Trump close down some facilities. The Kennedy Center gets government funding. Close it down. Close down all the government funded art galleries.

Re #5. Don´t forget the Mt. Rushmore overlook. In a remarkable show of pettiness, Obama had the pull-off blocked so even a casual motorist couldn´t get a good look at the mountain. The overlook was not manned and cost nothing. It was simply, "Lets show these rubes how wonderful and valuable the federal government is". I am surprised that they didn´t hang tarps to block the faces.

President Trump, during your presidential campaign you made a promise to send federal troops to drain the swamp in Washington, D.C., and also one festering with feral thugs and gang-bangers who are committing genocide among black Americans right in the great city of Chicago. I won’t quote you the homicide statistics, past and present, because by the time you read this they will have changed. Suffice it to say: They are horrific. Something is terribly wrong when, in the most moral nation on earth, its third-largest city is ruled by gangs with a crime rate that is 35 percent higher

I am an ordinary voter living far from the Beltway who feels gaslighted by our political and media establishments regarding the Russia investigation. Our current Yanny versus Laurel political moment is probably confusing even for professional political commentators. But for ordinary Americans it is a bewildering, disorienting spectacle. Which is it: Is Donald Trump a threat to the republic, or is the deep state the threat? Was the Russia investigation legit, or was it concocted by an out-of-control Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency? Was it an FBI “informant,” or was it a “spy”?

Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.
