The mother of former Heisman Trophy winner and current minor league baseball player Tim Tebow gave a powerful speech at the March for Life on Friday. Pam Tebow recounted how she became pregnant while she and her husband were working in as missionaries in the Philippines. The doctors said she had a tumor and pressured her to have an abortion instead of carrying baby Tim to term. But the Tebows refused and put their trust in God, Pam said. “In the beginning it was a difficult pregnancy. We thought we lost him so many times. the best doctor in town did tests

Wonderful story about a faith-filled mother, and a son who has become a great adult.

Her son is a celebrity... but there are MILLIONS of stories of mothers who bore children under difficult circumstances, and whose lives have been blessed by their children.

Life itself is a miracle. Our greatest scientists have a tiny understanding of it.

Scientists have created the first ever human-sheep hybrids, paving the way for organs to be grown in animals which can be transplanted into humans. The successful Stanford University project could even open the door to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes by creating healthy pancreases to regulate blood sugar. While scientists have previously developed human-pig hybrids, sparking excitement that they could use them grow human organs, no team has been able to take it to the next step. But Stanford´s team, which has already successfully transplanted pancreases into mice, is tipped to be the first after now that they have produced a

When a killer stalked her Florida school Wednesday, Carly Novell hid in a closet to save her life. Just like her grandfather had done almost 70 years earlier to escape the homicidal rampage of Howard Unruh in Camden. "This is my grandpa," Novell, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, said in a tweet that included photos of Charles Cohen as a boy and an older man. "When he was 12 years old, he hid in a closet while his family was murdered during the first mass shooting in America. Almost 70 years later, I also hid in a closet from a

The issue is hugely sensitive because the role is not hereditary and will not pass automatically to the Prince of Wales on the Queen´s death. The Commonwealth has set up a "high level group" to look at the way the international organisation is governed. This group is meeting later, officially to review how the Commonwealth is run by its secretariat and governors. It said the issue of the succession of the head of the Commonwealth was not part of the group´s mandate, but described the day-long discussions as "open". However, senior sources added that the gathering in London would also consider what happens when the

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Sunday "sexism" and a "macho atmosphere" helped doom Hillary Clinton´s 2016 presidential campaign. "I think it was difficult for Hillary Clinton to get by even the macho atmosphere prevailing during that campaign, and she was criticized in a way I think no man would have been criticized," Ginsburg said during a discussion at Columbia University. The liberal-leaning associate justice, who is 84 years old, shared a stage with CNN reporter Poppy Harlow and took a long pause before continuing. "I think anyone who watched that campaign unfold would answer it the same way I did: Yes,

News of Jimmy Garoppolo´s reported five-year, $137.5 million contract — the richest in NFL history — is predictably reverberating across the internet. The 49ers quarterback is set to get paid; the contract doles out $90 million in the first three years, the most in league history. In his five starts for the 49ers last season, he earned a base salary of $820,077. He´s 5-0 in those starts (7-0 overall for his career), and he threw six touchdowns for 1,542 yards. According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Bay Area, $74 million of the deal is guaranteed. The previous NFL contract record

Spread of breast cancer linked to compound

Breast cancer patients could be encouraged to cut asparagus and other foods from their diets in the future to reduce the risk of the disease spreading, scientists say. Researchers are investigating whether a change in diet could help patients with breast tumours after studies in mice showed that asparagine, a compound first identified in asparagus but present in many other foods, drives the spread of the disease to other organs. When scientists reduced asparagine in animals with breast cancer, they found that the number of secondary tumours in other tissues fell dramatically. The spread of malignant cells, often to the bones, lungs and brain, is the main cause of death among patients who are diagnosed with breast cancer.

The earliest Britons were black-skinned, with dark curly hair and possibly blue eyes, new analysis of a 10,000-year-old Somerset skeleton has revealed. Scientists at the Natural History Museum have used pioneering genetic sequencing and facial reconstruction techniques to prove that the first hunter-gatherers successfully to inhabit Britain were far darker in complexion than previously thought. The groundbreaking discovery was made in a “stroke of luck” after archeologists found scraps of DNA in the ear of the Mesolithic “Cheddar Man”, the oldest complete skeleton ever found in the UK and one of the museum’s

A California judge ruled Monday the state couldn’t force a cake shop owner to bake a cake for a gay couple’s wedding, ruling that doing so would constitute a violation of free speech. Superior Court Judge David Lampe denied the State of California’s request for a preliminary injunction that sought to force bakeshop owner Cathy Miller to design a wedding cake for a gay couple. “For this court to force such compliance would do violence to the essentials of Free Speech guaranteed under the First Amendment,” Lampe ruled, according to a press release sent to The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Afterward, his 11-year-old son comes into the room and asks him if he can check his fantasy football standings.

Comic book readers are apparently not fans of progressive politics—a fact no more evident in Marvel’s decision to cancel every single one of its comics that has been nominated by the LGBTQ advocacy group, GLAAD. In December, the publisher announced its decision to cancel many of its comics, citing poor sales. LGBTQ, feminist, and social justice-themed comics involving stories that revolved around Black Lives Matter, illegal immigration, and LGBTQ issues were among those to end up on the chopping block.

For the past year, chief executives have often talked about the new sense of moral responsibility that corporations have to help their communities and confront social challenges even when Washington won’t. What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America? Collectively, they have more leverage over the gun industry than any lawmaker. And it wouldn’t be hard for them to take a stand.

Adults who prostitute traumatized teenagers to advance their political agenda should be ashamed of themselves, and those at CNN who do it should be fired. Last night, moderator Jake Tapper looked on silently as Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Cameron Kasky compared Sen. Marco Rubio to a mass child murderer. Kasky prefaced his ignorant attack on the National Rifle Association by saying, “Senator Rubio, it’s hard to look at you and not look down the barrel of an AR-15 and not look at [shooter´s name], but you’re here.” Such vile calumny would ordinarily demand censure even from the Democrat

A discussion among students at Oberlin High School in Oberlin, La., about a mathematical symbol led to a police investigation and a search of one of the student’s homes, according to the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office. On the afternoon of Feb. 20, detectives investigated a report of terroristic threats at the school, where they learned that a student had been completing a math problem that required drawing the square-root sign. Students in the group began commenting that the symbol, which represents a number that when multiplied by itself equals another number, looked like a gun.

John Kasich’s inner circle is gearing up for a possible presidential run in 2020 — actively weighing the prospect of a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump against the feasibility of a long-shot general election campaign as an independent. And there’s one consideration driving their thinking perhaps more than any other: what some of his advisers consider the very real, maybe even likely, possibility that Trump doesn’t run again — by choice or not — or that the president becomes so politically hobbled by late next year that the political landscape fundamentally shifts in Kasich’s favor. That’s one reason
