Seven members of a cable TV crew were arrested at Newark Airport on Thursday after trying to film themselves passing a fake explosive device through a security checkpoint and onto a plane, according to reports. The crew was working for the cable network CNBC, according to nj.com. The fake explosive device was in a carry-on bag and never made it past security, Transportation Security Administration spokesman Michael McCarthy said. “They failed, were caught and were arrested on multiple charges,” he said, without elaborating on the charges. The crew members could also be assessed civil penalties in the tens of thousands

Comments:
Their mistake was making it look like a Road Runner cartoon bomb. If it looked like a Rolex they´d have sailed through - minus the fake watch.

If successful, These low-life scum would then, no doubt, pass the information on how they did it to ISIS.

Is there no end to the hatred of America by NBC and its affiliates?

By tomorrow this will be spun as an innocent CNBC crew was arrested as they tried to board an airplane because one member had a homemade alarm clock and this is part of Donald Trump´s war on the media. John McCain and Jeffy Flake will make speeches critical of President Trump and Rep Al Greene will demand that he be impeached.

What started as a traffic stop quickly turned into a high-speed chase, back-to-back crashes and an arrest that happened thanks, in part, to the suspect’s pants falling down. Tobias Smith, 24, faces a long list of charges stemming from the chaotic chase and crashes. Daytona Beach police say they tried to pull Smith over Tuesday for trying to cut through a parking lot along West International Speedway Boulevard to avoid a traffic light. Documents say Smith took off on North Nova Road. Smith made a hard right from the center lane onto Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, police say, and at

A police officer at a northern Illinois high school was hailed as a hero Wednesday for shooting and arresting a former student who fired on him in a hallway while staff and seniors were meeting for a graduation rehearsal. The 19-year-old former Dixon High School student suffered wounds that weren’t life-threatening, according to police, who didn’t release his name. The school resource officer, Mark Dallas, took the gunman into custody after shooting him. “He saved an enormous amount of lives,” Lee County Sheriff John Simonton said. His comments were echoed by Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, who in a statement credited

The driver of a Tesla electric car had the vehicle’s semi-autonomous Autopilot mode engaged when she slammed into the back of a Utah fire truck over the weekend, in the latest crash involving a car with self-driving features. The 28-year-old driver of the car told police in suburban Salt Lake City that the system was switched on and that she had been looking at her phone before the Friday evening crash. Tesla’s Autopilot system uses radar, cameras with 360-degree visibility and sensors to detect nearby cars and objects. It’s built so cars can automatically change lanes, steer, park and brake to help avoid collisions.

Is “implicit bias testing and training” really the right approach to improving race relations in this country — and how does it work, anyway? These were the questions from Fox News host Laura Ingraham that kicked off a lively segment of “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday night — with the Starbucks controversy of past month in mind. Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), said on Tuesday, “Implicit bias training should be the norm, not just a crisis response strategy,” in a media advisory published by the organization. Several Republican candidates for governor of Oklahoma urged GOP Gov. Oklahoma currently requires a license to carry a handgun openly or concealed and charges handgun license applicants a fee of up to $200. It appears from leaked news stories in the British press that Brennan’s oafish spying on Trump began around April 2016, right after Trump’s biggest primary victories. As it became urgently clear to Brennan that Trump was going to face off against Hillary, Brennan turned to “intelligence partners” in Europe for dirt on Trump. But they didn’t have any, save some pretty skimpy material on “contacts” between Trump campaign officials and Russians. Whatever Brennan collected was so insubstantial that Robert Mueller
