Seven members of a cable TV crew were arrested at Newark Airport on Thursday after trying to film themselves passing a fake explosive device through a security checkpoint and onto a plane, according to reports. The crew was working for the cable network CNBC, according to nj.com. The fake explosive device was in a carry-on bag and never made it past security, Transportation Security Administration spokesman Michael McCarthy said. “They failed, were caught and were arrested on multiple charges,” he said, without elaborating on the charges. The crew members could also be assessed civil penalties in the tens of thousands

Comments:
Their mistake was making it look like a Road Runner cartoon bomb. If it looked like a Rolex they´d have sailed through - minus the fake watch.

If successful, These low-life scum would then, no doubt, pass the information on how they did it to ISIS.

Is there no end to the hatred of America by NBC and its affiliates?

By tomorrow this will be spun as an innocent CNBC crew was arrested as they tried to board an airplane because one member had a homemade alarm clock and this is part of Donald Trump´s war on the media. John McCain and Jeffy Flake will make speeches critical of President Trump and Rep Al Greene will demand that he be impeached.

An ICE agent allegedly pulled a gun on a man whose car was being repossessed by the agent’s cousin in The Bronx, then had the victim arrested on bogus charges, a high-ranking police source said Sunday. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Omar Castro was accompanying his repo-man cousin to collect a car late Saturday when the owner, Christopher Jackson, tried to stop them. Castro, 41, blocked Jackson’s car in with his own vehicle in the Foxhurst section, and they began arguing heatedly at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, cops said. Castro, who was off duty, then allegedly pulled out his service

Before Nikolas Cruz carried out his mass killing at a Florida high school this week, police responded to his home 39 times over a seven-year period, according to disturbing new documents. Details about the calls to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office — obtained through police records by CNN — were not immediately available and it was impossible to determine if all involved Cruz. But the nature of the emergencies to his Parkland home included “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance” and “missing person,” KTLA reported. And a schoolmate, Brody Speno, told the network that cops were called to Cruz’s

What’s wrong with the Olympics isn’t limited to the rapturous reception accorded to Kim Yo-jong in Pyeongchang, South Korea. As Bethany Mandel pointed out here, it’s a disgrace that the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un was fawned over by the international press and favorably compared to Vice President Mike Pence because he refused to play along with that evil regime’s charm offensive. It’s appalling that many are so willing to embrace those responsible for countless murders and torture just to take a swipe at President Trump. Police Commissioner James O’Neill said it would be “insanity” for the feds to force one state to recognize another’s lax gun laws. A bill making its way through Congress would make gun possession akin to a driver’s license — so one state’s looser regulations against concealed weapons would be protected in tougher anti-gun states, like New York. “I think it’s insanity,” O’Neill told CBS’s “60 Minutes” in an interview aired Sunday night. O’Neill said accidents and suicides — in addition to crime — could skyrocket with more out-of-state guns around town. “Right now, we have a good idea of who’s

For the past year, chief executives have often talked about the new sense of moral responsibility that corporations have to help their communities and confront social challenges even when Washington won’t. What if the finance industry — credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard and American Express; credit card processors like First Data; and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo — were to effectively set new rules for the sales of guns in America? Collectively, they have more leverage over the gun industry than any lawmaker. And it wouldn’t be hard for them to take a stand.

John Kasich’s inner circle is gearing up for a possible presidential run in 2020 — actively weighing the prospect of a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump against the feasibility of a long-shot general election campaign as an independent. And there’s one consideration driving their thinking perhaps more than any other: what some of his advisers consider the very real, maybe even likely, possibility that Trump doesn’t run again — by choice or not — or that the president becomes so politically hobbled by late next year that the political landscape fundamentally shifts in Kasich’s favor. That’s one reason
