Trump claims credit for what is

WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump relentlessly congratulates himself for the healthy state of the U.S. economy, with its steady growth, low unemployment, busier factories and confident consumers. But in the year since Trump´s inauguration, most analysts tend to agree on this: The economy remains essentially the same sturdy one he inherited from Barack Obama.Growth has picked up, but it´s not yet clear if it can sustain a faster expansion. Hiring and wage growth actually slowed slightly from Obama´s last year in office. Consumers and businesses are much more optimistic, but their spending has yet to move meaningfully higher. LOL, oh come on Rugburner. Even a willfully stupid democrat must remember all those times when reports were ´unexpectedly low´ and the published numbers were walked back, except for unemployment numbers which were so bad YOU guys started counting part time jobs as full time jobs. NOW under PRESIDENT Trump it is exactly reversed and the numbers come in and have to be adjusted up. Also be serious for a second and admit NO company was handing out $1,000 per worker bonuses under the Fraud. Not even Federal Government for life workers which zoomed under democrats and padded the employment numbers. You sir, are a liar, but enjoy eating crow along with those analysts you cite, for the next SEVEN years. Imagine how long that will be for you and AssPress.

They believe the fantasy that BO did the right things for the economy. They cannot afford to think otherwise.

It´s just serendipity that the economy roared ahead at 3%+ GDP growth as Trump took over, that consumer confidence took off, that unemployment for Blacks and Hispanic cratored, that optimism in the stock market is the highest in 30 years, that companies are offering bonuses and wage hikes, and other positive signs.

It must be racism that NONE of these things happened under BO. However, we were assured they no longer COULD happen, that the BO economy was the best we could expect, the "new normal". The media all bobbled their heads.

Just more fake media mash.

Quoting Mark Zandi is as bad as quoting Paul Krugman. Going from a president who believed in stifling capital formation to one that encourages it is what accounts for the current economic situation. The private sector has had some of the shackles removed.

Obama´s economy, such as it was, was a sinking ship. Trump´s economy is well afloat, and while it may still suffer from the wormholes and rotten wood of the Obama tenure, the boards are being replaced by seasoned sound planks, fresh caulking, and a reasoned approach to salvage.

The components of this nation´s economic engine were always present. The obama era of anti-business and anti-America placed every obstacle possible to encumber and inhibit both the economy and the national morale. Why? It was a deliberate plan to reduce US influence and power in world affairs. Where did all that money spent by obama and his fellow travelers go? It certainly didn´t do what it was said to do. The real intent was to place a financial ball and chain on the people of our nation and the nation´s ability to compete effectively in the world economy. Those shackles are being removed and the nation and it´s economy are responding in a world shaking manner. The fraud had nothing to do with it.

In this area alone, President Trump has been far different than Obama, and it´s been a yuuuge benefit to the economy.

California´s elections officials have found themselves with an unexpected headache ahead of the June 5 primary: potentially thousands of cases where two voter registration forms were created for one person, errors caused by the state´s "motor voter" program that launched last month. Former FBI Director James Comey defended the FBI’s use of confidential sources Wednesday following a series of tweets from President Trump about “spygate.” He also warned that attacks on and lies about the bureau and its work will cause “lasting damage” to the country. “Facts matter. The FBI’s use of Confidential Human Sources (the actual term) is tightly regulated and essential to protecting the country. Attacks on the FBI and lying about its work will do lasting damage to our country. How will Republicans explain this to their grandchildren?” Comey tweeted. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer fumed Tuesday over the Trump administration´s "outrageous" decision to exclude Democrats from an upcoming meeting in which Justice Department officials will give House Republicans documents related to the FBI´s investigation into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Republican lawmakers had been demanding DOJ release the classified documents for months. “The only thing more outrageous than this meeting occurring at all is the fact that it’s now partisan,” the New York Democrat said. “It is crystal clear that Chairman Nunes’ intent is to interfere with the investigation, and Speaker Ryan is allowing it to

NFL club owners are considering potential 15-yard penalties for kneeling during the national anthem among ways of coping with a backlash over player protests, Sports Illustrated reported Tuesday. According to a story on the magazine´s website, owners set aside three hours to talk about the anthem issue, which President Donald Trump elevated into a major controversy last year. President Trump cannot block people from his @realDonaldTrump account just because he doesn’t like their political views, a Manhattan federal judge ruled on Wednesday. Doing so violates their First Amendment right to free speech because Twitter is a “public forum,” Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald wrote in a landmark ruling that could change how public officials use Twitter. “We reject the defendants’ contentions that the First Amendment does not apply in this case and that the President’s personal First Amendment interests supersede those of plaintiffs,” the judge wrote in her 75-page ?decision. Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Tuesday that the FBI was not at any point spying on the Trump campaign. “They were not. They were spying — a term I don´t particularly like — on what the Russians were doing," Clapper said during an appearance on The View to promote his new book, “Facts and Fears: Hard Truths From A Life In Intelligence.” The FBI, Clapper said, was simply trying to answer the question, "Were the Russians infiltrating, trying to gain access, trying to gain leverage and influence?"
