Dennis Rodman could face prison
time after DUI arrest — report

Sun-Times [Chicago, IL], by Dan Cahill

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 1/17/2018 5:08:53 PM

Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman can’t seem to rid himself of the “bad boy” image. Rodman was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Saturday in Newport Beach, California, after police say he was “driving like a maniac and blaring music,” TMZ reports. The bigger problem for the former Chicago Bulls star, though, is that he is on probation for a July of 2016 hit-and-run incident in which he was driving the wrong way. This latest arrest could revoke Rodman’s three-year probation and force him to serve prison time, TMZ reports. Rodman was reportedly cooperative with police.

Comments:
The good news for Dennis Rodman is he wasn´t in North Korea when this happened. As an aside, watching both historical and contemporary South Korean dramas has shown me two glaring sides of their national makeup. No matter what sex or occupation, they drink like fish and are big on revenge.

Mr Rodman, I´m sorry, but your definition of an alcoholic is incorrect.
I do hope you get legit help and realize it might be needed. The stick is prison. You have already had more chances than many, many others. Don´t screw it up.
BTW, I am not a fan, but I do have empathy for someone who is ill.

Rodman is a spoiled, arrogant brat who thinks that laws are for other people.

He belongs in jail while he comes to grips with his illegal behavior that puts others in danger.

NBC News retracted a key detail in the biggest story of the day — that special counsel Robert Mueller was listening in on phone conversations of longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, including at least one call with the White House. Early Thursday evening, the reporter walked that back in an appearance on MSNBC. Reporter Tom Winter, citing “three senior U.S. officials,” said his earlier story was incorrect about the type of surveillance being done on Mr. Cohen. (Tweet) “This is not a wiretap, instead it is a pen-register,” Mr. Winter said, going on to give a “plain English” description of the difference. “That means it’s a log

A House of Representatives chaplain who was pushed out by Speaker Paul Ryan has rescinded his resignation amid a backlash. In a two-page letter, reverend Patrick Conroy said he had not heard from Mr Ryan until the leader’s chief of staff approached him last month and asked him to resign. (Snip) Instead, Mr Conroy suggested, the decision may have been related to “my November prayer” - an apparent reference to a speech in which he issued a plea for fairness as Congress was debating a major tax overhaul. The measure was a priority for Mr Ryan, who has advocated tax cuts throughout his political career.
