Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed Tuesday that her department has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation efforts. “The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available,” Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee. Her confirmation came after California’s new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan says those policies put his officers and local communities at more risk because they have to

People who suffer because an individual government employee deliberately and knowingly obstructed federal law enforcement will have a pretty strong civil case against them for damages. Which could be personally very expensive for the employee . . .

Like a nascent hurricane, the stealth civil war continues to strengthen and take shape.

What will happen when the feds start arresting city and state lawbreakers?

Breakers ahead.

Not gonna happen. No one is going to be indicted. Can you even imagine the trial? No. Instead, the avenue the Feds need is to sue the states at the SCOTUS. Such laws are obviously unconstitutional. So, there, once the SCOTUS decides and the remedy is made, the laws will be stricken and the land set right again. But, there will be no one arrested or even sued for this.

Start with the governor of Cali. That will REALLY, REALLY make heads explode.

The left loves to jam federal law down the state´s throats when it is for leftist causes, but oh, boy are they for unlimited state´s rights to flaunt Federal law when it suits their leftist needs.

Should be a lot of fun.

The Feds have been derelict in their duty to protect us from the foreign invasion for a long time.
This action as caused substantial resources to be deployed by the Feds here, disrupting the enemy colonization effort.
Once the invasion is repelled, we can return to being the ´golden´ state.
