Jeb Bush backs Romney
for Utah Senate run

Hill, by Olivia Beavers

Original Article

Posted By:tisHimself, 1/16/2018 6:23:47 AM

Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) on Monday threw his support behind former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is reportedly weighing a Senate run in Utah. Mitt would make a phenomenal addition to the U.S. Senate. I hope he runs. https://t.co/3Vcg6txQmN — Jeb Bush (@JebBush) January 15, 2018 Bush´s endorsement on Twitter comes shortly after Romney criticized President Trump for reportedly describing African nations, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole countries" during a meeting with lawmakers on immigration reform last week.

I guess they forgot the absolute mathematical axiom : 0 + 0 = 0.

It should be noted, this axiom is not probabilistic. Rather, it is deterministic. The quiet genius has spoken!

Axiom For Voters: Any voter who votes for an idiot, is an idiot.

I am very concerned that Romney would be a wrecking ball for the MAGA movement.

Also, the mention of Mia Love as a potential candidate is concerning since she willingly became a GOPe tool shortly after she placed her hand on the bible and swore an oath to "protect and defend". She always seems to be willing to do the bidding of the GOPe which is in conflict with the best interests of "the people". Just another hope co-opted by the Establishment.

They´re both political garbage. If Romney gets in to the Senate, he will be the vote the Democrats need when their attacks on our President reach a decision point. The rest of the time, Romney will legacy build using our tax dollars and undermine the conservative agenda President Trump has been advancing.

Why Is Mitt Romney Is at the Met Gala?

We may not get Beyoncé at the Met Gala this year, but at least we get ... Mitt Romney? Um, yes, the 2012 Republican nominee for President arrived with his wife, Ann Romney, at Anna Wintour´s annual extravaganza. The former Governor of Massachusetts, who is currently running for a Utah senator seat, followed the black tie dress code, stepping out in a tux, while Ann arrived in a collared emerald grown. Romney is one of the most well-known Mormons in the public sphere, so it´s surprising he and Ann didn´t embrace the religious theme with a bit more gusto. At the very least,

Don Gorske gobbled down his 30,000th Big Mac Friday at the same McDonald’s where he got his first taste of the beefed-up burger in 1972. “At the time it was the only McDonald’s in town and I had just gotten my driver’s license,” Gorske said, just prior to setting a new world record for “Most Big Macs consumed.” The popular fast-food chain promoted the Big Mac enthusiast´s monumental ingestion, held at 3 p.m. under the “golden arches” on Military Road and attended by McDonald´s Fox Valley´s franchise owner D.W. Liberal commentators and media figures mocked former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney for saying that “hot dog” is his “favorite meat.” Romney, now running for a Utah Senate seat, made the comment at a dinner organized by his campaign, according to a profile of the candidate by the Washington Examiner. “My favorite meat is hot dog, by the way. That is my favorite meat,” Romney said. “My second favorite meat is hamburger. And, everyone says, oh, don’t you prefer steak? It’s like, I know steaks are great, but I like hot dog best, and I like hamburger next best.” Social media users were quick to jump on Romney for the quote,

Former GOP presidential nominee and current Senate candidate Mitt Romney praised President Trump´s first year in office on Tuesday, saying it was similar to what the first year of a Romney administration would look like. In response to a question from a voter in Utah, Romney seemed to indicate that he largely approved of the policies pursued by the Trump administration during Trump´s first year in the White House, calling it "better than expected," the Washington Examiner reports. “His first year is very similar to things I’d have done my first year,” Romney said. California Rep. Tony Cárdenas, a junior member of Democratic leadership, is denying through a lawyer allegations of child sex abuse raised in a lawsuit filed last week in Los Angeles County. The lawsuit did not name Cárdenas, describing the defendant, John Doe, as “an elected politician in Los Angeles County.” California law prevents the naming of the defendant in court filings for civil cases involving child sex abuse “until there has been a showing of corroborative fact as to the charging allegations against that defendant.” But for reasons not explained in the statement his lawyer Patricia Glaser provided reporters, Cárdenas has decided

Bob Dylan often wrote songs about booze – and now he’ll be peddling some of his own brew. The 76-year-old Nobel laureate, whose songs in his 13 album “Bootleg Series” include the titles “Moonshine” and “Copper Kettle,” says he will debut a line of whiskeys next month. “You don’t always find inspiration,” he said in a statement to The Guardian. “Sometimes it finds you. We wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that would each tell a story.” Dylan is partnering with liquor entrepreneur Marc Bushala, and their distillery will be located in a former church in Tennessee.

Months before 84-year-old Utah senator Orrin Hatch announced his retirement, polls showed Mitt Romney easily winning the race to replace him. When Romney received Hatch’s blessing to enter the contest, and quickly secured an endorsement from President Trump, he had every reason to think that he’d sail to victory. But that’s not how things work for Willard Mitt Romney. Romney was narrowly defeated at Saturday’s Republican state convention, receiving 49 percent of the vote to state Representative Mike Kennedy’s 51 percent. That means he’ll have to face a primary race, like some pleb who wasn’t governor of Massachusetts and the 2012

Major names on Wall Street and in the Republican establishment are buying into Mitt Romney´s run for Senate, particularly as Republican lawmakers are looking to him as a future leader within a congressional caucus that is struggling to find its identity. According to first-quarter filings, Romney has been quietly receiving the financial backing of some of the most powerful names and donors in Republican circles, such as former Goldman Sachs CEO and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. The early contributions are not necessarily big, but they indicate a coordinated effort to push the former Massachusetts governor and presidential

There is a kind of modernity to the 19th-century story of New York archbishop John Hughes, in terms of three issues we still have cause to ponder in the United States: namely, the nature of community, the utility of any form of identity politics, and our national embrace of — and, in some quarters now, new skepticism about — multiple cultural identities. Hughes gave thought to the forces that were necessary to forge a tight-knit community, and his answers, if dangerous in our own day, seemed more reasonable to him. He did not share Bishop Benedict Joseph Fenwick’s gentleness when

So he went out and got some people who are experts on the subject. The result, Cal 3, is a political masterpiece. This could work. When California was admitted to the union in 1850 it had only 92,000 people, most of them scrambling for gold in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. That´s why California´s county lines are so screwy. Los Angeles County now has 10,000,000 people. Alpine County has 1,000. Cal 3 divides the

In today´s public dialogue, there´s a lot of talk back and forth over the transgender issue. And why not? Transgenderism has been made into a cause celebre by the cultural elite. Many, myself included, view this as part of the ongoing effort by the Left to separate America from God and tradition. For that reason, it is worthwhile to delve a little deeper into the issue than what is normally provided by what is claimed by transgender people themselves.
