Fusion GPS co-founder upset
New York Times passed on Trump-
Russia story days before election

Washington Times, by Rowan Scarborough

Original Article

Glenn Simpson, whose investigative firm Fusion GPS produced the unverified Democrat-financed dossier, bemoaned the fact he could not persuade The New York Times to run a Trump-Russia conspiracy story days before the Nov. 8, 2016, election. Fusion had lobbied the Times by having dossier author and British ex-spy Christopher Steele personally brief its reporter and other selected media outlets during two sessions. Mr. Steele argued there was an “extensive” conspiracy between the Donald Trump campaign and the Kremlin to hack Democratic Party computers whose emails were stolen by Russia and released by WikiLeaks.

Unrepentant. Just wait till Sessions has him and his company shut down with an FBI raid. (I can dream...)

Glenn Simpson was trying to peddle a false story paid for by Hillary and Bill. My guess is he would have been paid big money if the lie would have taken off and helped Hillary win. His business would have hit the big time.

No Hillary in power no payout and business went south. Hillary and the FBI then used it as a coup attempt against Trump which is backfiring big time.

These people are sick and corrupt.

This guy is a real P.O.S. He starts a business to smear and destroy people. What a low life he must be. How ironic that in the end he is the one that gets smeared and destroyed.

It wouldn´t have made any difference with the Trump voters, they had already made up their minds and they were determined to vote for him. GPS thinks they are so important they could have turned the Election to Hillary, but NOTHING would have stopped Trump´s voters at that point!

Per CNN, FBI did pay Dossier compiler Steele: 3/1/2017, "FBI reimbursed some expenses of dossier author," CNN, Evan Perez. As to NY Times, it didn´t want to create controversy right before an election it was 99% sure Mrs. Clinton would win.

You know what else happened end of October ´16? Mike Rogers shut down the FISA searches.. the DOJ-NSD knew they could be caught with their hand in the surveillance cookie jar. At at that late date, they thought their work was done. It was only after Hillary lost, that the full court press was out on the "collusion" theory.

And it almost worked! Let´s hear what all these losers have to say under oath now that Nunes has the IG investigations documents.

And as a side note.. I wish someone could call out the misnomer that the DNC servers were "hacked" when in fact, since they refused to let the FBI look at them, most agree there were "leaks" .. as someone inside the DNC was working with someone.

Intelligence officials can selectively release classified information to trusted journalists while withholding the same information from other citizens who request it through open records laws, CIA lawyers argued Wednesday. In a motion filed in New York federal court, the CIA claimed that limited disclosures to reporters do not waive national security exemptions to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies frequently deny records requests on the basis of protecting sensitive national security information, one of nine exemptions written into the federal FOIA law.

More than a year into Bill Clinton’s first term, of 1,044 White House personnel, nearly 100 had no security clearance at all, according to press reports in 1994. The scandal alarmed both Republicans and Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, who wrote to CIA Director James Woolsey on March 17, 1994.
