Fusion GPS co-founder upset
New York Times passed on Trump-
Russia story days before election

Washington Times, by Rowan Scarborough

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 1/14/2018 6:59:21 PM

Glenn Simpson, whose investigative firm Fusion GPS produced the unverified Democrat-financed dossier, bemoaned the fact he could not persuade The New York Times to run a Trump-Russia conspiracy story days before the Nov. 8, 2016, election. Fusion had lobbied the Times by having dossier author and British ex-spy Christopher Steele personally brief its reporter and other selected media outlets during two sessions. Mr. Steele argued there was an “extensive” conspiracy between the Donald Trump campaign and the Kremlin to hack Democratic Party computers whose emails were stolen by Russia and released by WikiLeaks.

Unrepentant. Just wait till Sessions has him and his company shut down with an FBI raid. (I can dream...)

Glenn Simpson was trying to peddle a false story paid for by Hillary and Bill. My guess is he would have been paid big money if the lie would have taken off and helped Hillary win. His business would have hit the big time.

No Hillary in power no payout and business went south. Hillary and the FBI then used it as a coup attempt against Trump which is backfiring big time.

These people are sick and corrupt.

This guy is a real P.O.S. He starts a business to smear and destroy people. What a low life he must be. How ironic that in the end he is the one that gets smeared and destroyed.

It wouldn´t have made any difference with the Trump voters, they had already made up their minds and they were determined to vote for him. GPS thinks they are so important they could have turned the Election to Hillary, but NOTHING would have stopped Trump´s voters at that point!

Per CNN, FBI did pay Dossier compiler Steele: 3/1/2017, "FBI reimbursed some expenses of dossier author," CNN, Evan Perez. As to NY Times, it didn´t want to create controversy right before an election it was 99% sure Mrs. Clinton would win.

You know what else happened end of October ´16? Mike Rogers shut down the FISA searches.. the DOJ-NSD knew they could be caught with their hand in the surveillance cookie jar. At at that late date, they thought their work was done. It was only after Hillary lost, that the full court press was out on the "collusion" theory.

And it almost worked! Let´s hear what all these losers have to say under oath now that Nunes has the IG investigations documents.

And as a side note.. I wish someone could call out the misnomer that the DNC servers were "hacked" when in fact, since they refused to let the FBI look at them, most agree there were "leaks" .. as someone inside the DNC was working with someone.

President Trump is on a collision course with Congress on ZTE, the Chinese telecommunications giant sanctioned for doing business with Iran and North Korea. Trump has publicly signaled his desire to ease the restrictions on ZTE as he seeks China´s cooperation on North Korea talks and hammering out a trade deal. But Trump’s pivot on ZTE has received terrible reviews from Republicans in Congress, who have joined with Democrats in passing measures to ensure the restrictions are kept in place. The video – taken by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – comes from a brand new satellite launched to survey weather over the US. In a letter to Kim, Trump wrote that it would be “inappropriate” to hold the planned historic summit. “Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long planned meeting,” he wrote. The summit was to take place June 12th in Singapore. Trump did leave the door open to a future meeting. “I felt a wonderful dialogue was building up between you and me, and ultimately, it is only that dialogue that matters.

Dust came at you, the heat came at you. It was extremely loud,” Cheshire said. The finding by a Dutch-led team raised the likelihood Kremlin officials would face criminal charges for the downing of the BRUSSELS — A Dutch-led international team of investigators said Thursday that a missile that downed a Malaysian Airlines jetliner over eastern Ukraine in 2014 came from the Russian military, opening the possibility that Dutch prosecutors could sue the Kremlin in connection with the attack that killed all 298 on board. The long-running inquiry already established that a Russian-made Buk antiaircraft missile downed flight MH17, but it had not previously made a direct link to the Russian military.
