‘I’m Running,’ Romney Says Privately,

Salt Lake City - A few days after Senator Orrin G. Hatch of Utah announced that he would conclude his tenure after serving 42 years in office, the state’s governor, Gary Herbert, was growing anxious about whether Mitt Romney would run for the seat. “Let’s not be coy about this,” Mr. Herbert said he told a close Romney friend and prominent business leader, Kem Gardner. “If he’s going to run, let’s go. If not, we need to find somebody else to run, and there’s people that have been trying to queue up for the opportunity.” Last Saturday, Mr. Gardner called the governor and read from a text that Mr. Romney had offered: “I’m

What about Orka and Fauxcahontas? These dRATS are so depleted that being at the bottom of the barrel is sitting on the top. Eventually, PIAPS, if not in prison, will step in and demand a WWE cage match. This keeps up, they´ll have to recruit some dimension-challenged Disney cartoon character... The question will be then, who will supply the voice?

No mention here of the question of residency. Are Utahans anxious to welcome an obvious carpetbagger/opportunist to drop in and expect to be elected Senator? I doubt it.

Fake threats will get you lots of free publicity. But if you do run, you will have enormous overwhelming opposition from Conservatives, let alone Democrats. If Mitch is putting you up to this, just thank him and save yourself a lot of punishment. Roy Moore was a walk on the beach compared to what’s in store for you.

The GOPe has a death wish, and they keep proving it over and over. They would rather lose an election than allow a candidate who isn´t bought and paid for. They deserve to disappear forever, but if they did we know what would happen. All the former GOPe´rs would look which way the crowd is going, then run out front and pretend they were with us all along.
Establishment politicans are all phoney, all choreographed, and wouldn´t know integrity if it bit them.

U.S. regulators on Thursday killed the politically sensitive sale of the Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) to a group led by China-based investors, saying a lack of information on the would-be buyers threatened the ability to properly monitor the exchange after the deal. Intelligence officials can selectively release classified information to trusted journalists while withholding the same information from other citizens who request it through open records laws, CIA lawyers argued Wednesday. In a motion filed in New York federal court, the CIA claimed that limited disclosures to reporters do not waive national security exemptions to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies frequently deny records requests on the basis of protecting sensitive national security information, one of nine exemptions written into the federal FOIA law.

President Trump’s legal team is citing a three-pillar argument to convince investigators, and the public, that President Trump shouldn’t sit down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Mueller wants access to the president as part of an inquiry into suspected obstruction of justice in the firing of the special counsel’s longtime friend, FBI Director James B. Comey, in May.
