How Conservatives Are Being Destroyed

Today, as you read this, my website Right Wing News is shutting down operations. It has been around since 2001, but became massive a few years ago because of Facebook. Remember the mainstream media liberals going out of their minds because the Russians reached almost 150 million people with their $100,000 Facebook ad buy? In July of 2015, in just a week, the Right Wing News Facebook page reached 133 million people. Because conservatives were sharing content they were interested in, little ol’ Right Wing News (well, I guess nearly 3.6 million Facebook likes isn’t so little) was driving the same

Wait a second, I´m confused!
I don´t want to make your wedding cake because I don´t believe in gay marriage... lawsuit!
I don´t want to perform your marriage ceremony because I don´t believe in gay weddings... lawsuit!
You can´t force me to serve alcohol or pork because I´m muslim... lawsuit!
I don´t have to print your conservative viewpoint because I don´t agree with it...

This has been happening everywhere. Our schools, the media and online. It is a serious problem. We cannot just shrug our shoulders and let it continue.

Just like Fox News stepped in and found the conservative audience, there´s an opportunity for a conservative to take the plunge.

Are we going to be consistent?

We believe that a private business has the absolute right to refuse to bake a cake for a homosexual "wedding." When said baker prevails in court, we consider it a victory for freedom and liberty.

So--shouldn´t Facebook and Twitter have the same rights?

I agree with #7, private businesses should be free to discriminate. However, they should not be allowed to do it stealthily-they need to disclose their policies up front and allow people to consider other options. By spiking conservative content/posts, they are going beyond simple discrimination. Akin to a baker agreeing to make a cake for a gay wedding than not going forward with it and claiming philosophical differences later.

When liberals railed against Big Anything over the years, they broke it up or sued them into submission; conservatives have access to the same game plan, and have anti-trust lawyers at their disposal.

I´m sorry the author lost business, but if he was relying on Facebook he made a poor bet. It was only a matter of time before they´d cut him and others loose. I don´t frequent Facebook, but I understand they now pepper non-conforming articles with editorial notices urging readers to visit conforming so-called fact-check sites.

Facebook, google, twitter, you tube (owned by google) have always been left wing. What´s new? On facebook, you can block the news sites you don´t want, that was about 99% for me. The other 1% will probably be gone soon. Conservatives need to work & get some conservative social media sites. They definitely would have the audience. ... But on the other hand it´s probably a good idea to stay on these sites it drives the left bonkers. Driving the conservatives away is probably their goal.

The thing that Facebook has offered has been a digital town square where different ideas and perspectives could be found and discussed. They are taking that away. It´s hard to imagine that there isn´t someone out there that could recreate a Facebook-like site that would be open to differing views. The same thing goes for Twitter and YouTube. Google is a search engine; there are any number of alternatives to use.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, says students from the high school near Houston where the deadly shooting occurred told him they don’t believe more gun control is the way to make schools safer. In an interview in his Senate office Tuesday with The Daily Signal, Cruz said support for the Second Amendment in Texas is why CNN and other media outlets aren’t giving these students the kind of wall-to-wall coverage that followed the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Cruz also talked about why the Senate should work full workweeks and potentially skip the August recess to get more done. From making tax reform

This is an outrage, but it is common nationwide: the Daily Caller News Foundation reports that Mountain Ridge Middle School in West Virginia is "instructing junior high students to write the Islamic profession of faith ostensibly to practice calligraphy." Students are made to write out the Shahada, which states: "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah." This is exactly what I warned about in my book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance, in the chapter "The Mosqueing of the Public Schools." In order to convert to Islam, one says the shahada.

As I will explain, the widespread notion that Russia and Trump colluded to beat Hillary has long been demonstrable bunk. What seems more clear each day is that there was collusion between certain members of the U.S. and British intelligence communities to spy on the Trump campaign. This may explain, in large part, the reluctance of the Department of Justice to reveal what it knows publicly. After all -- with rare exceptions -- the two countries’ intelligence services have long had important information gathering and sharing agreements, and exposure of this may harm the traditional reciprocal relationship. Opponents of President Donald Trump claim that President Donald Trump’s decision to leave the Iran deal blocks any chance of a new agreement with Tehran and wrecks U.S. credibility with its allies. Trump’s supporters, for their part, argue that the president opened up the possibility of negotiating a better deal with the ayatollahs by abandoning his predecessor’s lopsided nuclear pact. Both sides are wrong. And, more to the point, they miss the larger picture. For more than twenty years, successive U.S. administrations have been vexed by the challenge of Iran’s illicit pursuit of nuclear weapons. And from the time the problem first
