Fusion GPS, firm behind disputed
Russia dossier, retracts its claim
of FBI mole in Trump camp

Washington Times, by Rowan Scarborough

Glenn Simpson, the Fusion GPS founder who sponsored the unverified anti-Trump dossier, claimed in August and again Jan. 2 that the FBI has a source inside the Trump camp who lent credence to the document. When a transcript of his secret August testimony was released on Tuesday, news headlines immediately latched onto the disclosure as a boon to a dossier whose core charges of Donald Trump-Russia collusion have been denied and not confirmed publicly. Then suddenly, as quick as the headlines went up, some one close to Fusion was waving off reporters. Mr. Simpson had “mischaracterized” the source. It was not some on the

Comments:
I am honestly confused by all the "revelations" suddenly coming out and being confirmed that President Trump isn´t involved, but rather Hillary and Herself´s dRATS party and political sycophants and law enforcement (FBI). Why? There seems to be no mechanism to immediately stop and question the fake Mueller investigation (under threat of impeachment) or issue warrants to arrest and perp walk these attempting a "palace coup" against a lawfully elected President.

“Mischaracterize” means he lied, but he wasn’t under oath, was he? He was still making it up like when he was just a reporter.

Gee Wally.. maybe they should have got their stories straight before testifying before congress..( and yes it was under oath). They can certainly go back and correct the record if something was said that was unintentionally incorrect, but this is kinda crucial, don´t you think?

way bottom line again... NONE of this was supposed to be uncovered! The arrogance of the Obama Administration coupled with the Hillary campaign is over the top. She was supposed to win, darn it! Given what all we now are finding out, Im still amazed she didn´t! Can you imagine what they would have done if they thought it might be close?

The “dossier” conspirators are obviously still trying to get their “pegs in a row”. As if Simpson knew that the FBI had a “mole” placed within the Trump campaign, how would Simpson know that, unless some high ranking DOJ/FBI person who he was conspiring with told him so?

During the course of legitimate intelligence or law enforcement investigations, the fact that the investigators have a “mole” (informer) working for them is a very close held secret, and the investigators do not let that “cat out of the bag” so to speak, especially not to some non-law enforcement entity or person.

Berkeley Heights, NJ - President Trump claimed without evidence on Sunday that his administration’s release of top-secret documents related to the surveillance of a former campaign aide had confirmed that the Justice Department and the F.B.I. had “misled the courts” in the early stages of the Russia investigation. “Looking more & more like the Trump Campaign for President was illegally being spied upon (surveillance) for the political gain of Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter. In a series of early-morning tweets, Mr. Trump left unmentioned how the documents laid out in stark detail why

Beating your wife is worse than protesting during the national anthem. So, too, is sexually assaulting a woman. While that might seem obvious, it needs to be clarified given The Associated Press´ report Thursday that the Miami Dolphins are now including protesting during the anthem on their list of "conduct detrimental to the club." Under NFL rules, that´s an offense punishable by a suspension of up to four games. The Dolphins later told the AP that "all options are still open." But to give you an idea of how heinous at least one NFL team sees trying to draw attention to racial and economic inequality, a four-game suspension is

Washington, DC - President Donald Trump repeatedly promised during his campaign to nominate Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade. Now with another nominee to the Supreme Court in his hands, abortion rights advocates worry that conservative dream will come true. But what needs to happen in order for Roe, the 1973 court decision that legalized abortion nationwide, to be overturned is more complex than it might seem. And if it happens, what comes next isn’t black and white either. Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh, a George W. Bush–era nominee with an extensive record

Jerusalem - Israel’s parliament approved a controversial piece of legislation on Thursday that defines the country as the nation-state of the Jewish people but which critics warn sidelines minorities. The government says the bill, passed in the early morning hours, will merely enshrine into law Israel’s existing character. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called its passage a “historic moment in the history of Zionism and the history of the state of Israel.” “Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, which honors the individual rights of all its citizens,” he said. “I repeat this is our state. The US administration of President Donald Trump on Thursday proposed sweeping changes to the 45-year-old Endangered Species Act which would roll back protections for threatened animals, sparking alarm by environmentalists. The 1973 federal law is considered the gold standard for global environmental protection, and is credited with saving dozens of key species from extinction, including bald eagles, manatees, humpback whales and American alligators. One proposed change, announced by the Interior and Commerce Departments, would remove a sentence that aims to separate economic impacts from decisions about animal protection. Other provisions would vary protections for animals on a case-by-case

Most House Democrats voted “present” Tuesday on a resolution aimed at forcing them to clarify whether they support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, after some Democrats have criticized the agency´s role in enforcing U.S. immigration laws. The House passed a nonbinding resolution saying lawmakers support the "officers and personnel who carry out the important mission of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement." A two-thirds majority was needed to pass it, and because Democrats voted "present" instead of "no," it passed easily in a 244-35 vote. The final vote saw just 18 Democrats vote for the

Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election wasn’t as one-sided as Special Counsel Robert Mueller charges in his latest indictment. The Russian military spy agency that Mueller says hacked the Democratic National Committee also penetrated the computer systems of the Republican National Committee using fake emails in a phishing scheme, U.S. officials say. This evidence challenges the narrative, now reinforced by Mueller’s indictments, that Russia’s scheme was solely aimed at damaging Hillary Clinton. “RNC emails were stolen through the same spearphishing scams used against Democrats,” a senior U.S. intelligence official familiar with the investigation told RealClearInvestigations.

In the past few days, President Trump has given at least some Republicans reason to express displeasure over his relationship with Russia. First he performed a pathetic ritual of subservience before Vladimir Putin, standing beside the Russian leader — after a private meeting between the two, which no aides were permitted to attend — and dismissing the copious evidence of a Russian attack on the 2016 election in deference to Putin’s word. Then we learned that Putin had suggested that we make Americans available to the Kremlin for questioning, including Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, in exchange
