Trump lawyer arranged $130,000 payment

Washington Examiner [DC], by Caitlin Yilek

A lawyer for President Trump reportedly arranged a $130,000 payment to a former porn star just weeks before the 2016 presidential election to stay quiet about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump. People familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that Trump’s longtime lawyer Michael Cohen arranged a payment to Stephanie Clifford in October 2016 during negotiations of a nondisclosure agreement. Clifford, 38, has told people privately that she had a sexual encounter with Trump after they met in July 2006 in Lake Tahoe. Trump married his wife, Melania, in 2005. Trump denied all allegations of

Comments:
This story is originally penned by the sanctimonious Wall Street Journal that went to great lengths to destroy the Clinton administration before and during his presidency as the claims of rape and adultery have surrounded his legacy. S/O. True or not, this should send a shiver down the spines of powerful men today who engage with these working girls today. Has the great WSJ gone into competition with the National Enquirer for breaking tabloid "fake news"? (I feel dirty posting this article.)

I had a revelation this morning. I read the title and automatically decided this story was garbage. No consideration if it was true, just dismissed it.

The media has written so many things about PDJT that have been false, they have lost their reputations.

The media has destroyed itself. People will no longer assume what they read in the papers or on the internet is true. They have inoculated him with these stories.

Of course, liberals will believe because it “ feels right”.

It´s what Hillary and Fusion GPS did; they tell 3 foreign powers that Trump fornicated, then send 3 different agents to ask the same foreign powers if they have any evidence Trump fornicated. Then Hillary and co. breathlessly run to the WAPO, or NYT, or WSJ, and declaim, "Trump cheated on his wife. We have 3 separate foreign spy agencies to back us up!!"

The memos are out from former FBI Director James Comey, and one of the big takeaways is how useful a tool Valerie Jarrett´s daughter, Laura Jarrett, could be for the Hillary Clinton campaign while she was employed at CNN. CNN, it seems, helped orchestrate the set-up of President Trump when it pressed the then-FBI director to have a meeting with Trump so that the matter could be leaked and the press would have a credible reason to report as news all the otherwise slimy opposition research contained within the Steele dossier. Up until then, Fusion GPS, the purveyor of the unverified garbage written by its Moscow sources,
