"Steve Really Hijacked Breitbart": The Right-Wing
Site´s Staff Confronts a Post-Bannon Landscape

Vanity Fair, by Tina Nguyen

The Breitbart Embassy is closed. If anything symbolized the end of an era for the scrappy, youthful crew of Breitbart News, it was the loss of Steve Bannon’s grand Capitol Hill town house. Once the de facto headquarters of Breitbart’s legendary ragers, it had more recently become the decorous nerve center for Bannon’s attempt to do the D.C. power-player thing—fete Washingtonians with Dean & DeLuca canapes and hold them captive with his megalomania. But when Bannon stepped down from Breitbart earlier this week after he seemed unable to outrun the comments he had made about Donald Trump Jr., among other things,

Breitbart is the target of many for its honest, take-no-prisoners reporting.

They were the one breaking the stories about the INVASION taking place on the border while everyone else had their heads in the sand...

The Radio end of things is THRIVING. The reporting is certainly miles ahead and timely while a lot of news sites and agregators put out articles without discussion and analysis.

Bannon may have said things that we insulting to Trump family members who were not elected, and rubbed many the wrong way. He was certainly a THORN in the side of the RINOcrats and DC Establishment who was pretty well OUT OF TOUCH with the pulse of the American conservative base.

With our without Steve, the operation will continue and there are those who do noe want the controversial topics discussed lest they get exposed as frauds.....

With due respect for the Breitbart staff who took over after Andrew died and Bannon´s leadership in that vein, as someone who was "there" when John Nolte first announced a little merger between himself and others at a little blog called Libertas (conservative-in-Hollywood culture) and a dynamic New Media calling itself Big Hollywood, I have to say there is a grain of truth in the title of this piece. There IS an alt-Right: they are the decendents of the John C Calhoun school of ideology (they hate the US Constitution and they scorn conservatives) and because of Bannon, they found a home at Breitbart.

On top of that, Big Hollywood went from being a news site that featured not only the latest cultural movements in Hollywood, but sought out and supported Real Conservative actors/directors/producers who were fighting against the leftist activism of the progressive elites. AND they were seeking out NEW conservative actors/directors/producers that were seeking to find the wedge that would help turn the tide...

...but once Andrew died, it seemed everyone at Breitbart threw that out the window and turned it into a Stand In Line Gossip Rag.

Seriously, as much GOOD as Bannon may have done in his involvement with getting Trump elected (however it is you may want to merit that), Im really looking forward to seeing someone who wants to return Breitbart to the spirit that Andrew established there.

Yesterday’s hearing on Capitol Hill featuring FBI agent Peter Strzok quickly turned into a political firefight among lawmakers, but overall it was a damning illustration of the toxic culture that exists within the Washington, D.C., beltway. At one point, Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy confronted the former investigator over some anti-Trump texts he had sent. In 2016, after FBI lawyer Lisa Page asked Strzok if Trump would ever become the president, his response was, “No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.” Republican committee members read a number of Strzok’s vitriolic texts about Donald Trump and his supporters, and at one point

Hillary Clinton still thinks she is relevant. This week Hillary spoke in Pittsburg to the American Federation of Teachers. Since her 2016 lost to an utterly political outsider in President Trump, Hillary has not swayed far from the opportunity to make news headlines or receive a cool $250,000 just for giving her inept opinion on something. Now, she is trying to tell others what is American. During her speech, Clinton said that Trump is “trying to rip the heart out of America.” She went on to say that a test of a society is how we treat our most vulnerable, old

The venerable Washington Post, the newspaper that brought down a Republican president and spawned at least two Hollywood movies, a paper backed by the resources of the wealthiest man in America, sicced three reporters (including a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter) and six researchers on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. This fearsome team produced two exposes on the nominee revealing that — drum roll, please — Kavanaugh drinks Budweiser at his local pub and used a credit card to buy season tickets to his hometown baseball team. When NARAL, the multimillion-dollar abortion lobby, trained its resources on the man, they came up with

A man parked his motorcycle on the sidewalk Saturday morning, ruining the aesthetic of the last remaining Blockbuster in the continental United States. “You can’t park there,” general manager Sandi Harding told the man as he walked into the store in Bend, Ore. “People are trying to take pictures.” The man paused for a beat. There was confusion in his response. “Trying to take pictures?” Somehow he had missed the past decade, when Blockbuster the video rental behemoth became Blockbuster the fallen victim of modernity. In 2004, at the company’s peak, 9,000 Blockbuster outlets studded city blocks and suburban strip malls nationwide, a onetime indelible

Is abortion a sad and unfortunate reality — regrettable, as we are sometimes told, but often necessary — or is it a breezy nothingburger, completely “normal,” and something to be giddily celebrated like a last-minute NFL touchdown? For a long time, the abortion lobby has had difficulty deciding. This summer, it seems that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — and the rising feverish chatter surrounding the possible demise of Roe v. Wade — might just push the pro-abortion movement over the edge. By now perhaps you’ve seen the horror show cooked up by Michelle Wolf, the Netflix star best known for

Subtlety not being Donald Trump’s customary approach to his job, his nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court was a surprisingly artful political play. For the many Trump supporters who delight in the president’s thumb-in-the-eye approach, the court vacancy was an opportunity for Trump to actually earn the prefab fulminations from Democrats, which were coming no matter whom he chose, by selecting a nominee that another Republican president might have deemed too risky. The option preferred by this group was Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals judge Amy Coney Barrett, whose presence on Trump’s short list caused palpitations on both sides of

The indictment Friday of 12 Russian military officers for the election hacks against the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign lends a surprising new detail to the 2016 election interference timeline: The Kremlin’s hackers apparently still maintained a foothold in the DNC’s network four months after the Democrats announced that they’d locked the intruders out. Until today, the story of the DNC hack ended promptly on June 14, 2016, when the Democrats went public with the intrusion in the pages of the Washington Post, and Crowdstrike, the security firm hired to respond to the breach, published a detailed technical account. Americans are encouraged to embrace diversity and be culturally sensitive to those who have flouted our laws and invaded our nation. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad. Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted.
