Chuck Todd: Trump thinks ´white Europeans

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Julia Manchester

"Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd said on Friday that President Trump believes white Europeans are better than brown immigrants. The comment follows the president´s reported remarks referring to Haiti and African countries as "sh**hole countries." "Folks, you can debate all you want about the president’s recent language, but you cannot debate what it seemingly reveals about his core beliefs — that white Europeans are good and brown immigrants are bad," Todd said on "MTP Daily" on NBC. The president has faced fierce backlash in the media and from many members of both political parties for the remarks, which were

Comments:
That type of language from a member of the media is reckless, outrageous and beyond biased! Can you imagine the former MTP host Tim Russert saying such a thing?? Of course not! And he was certainly no conservative. The media has gone so far down the toilet that I don´t know how they can ever redeem themselves. It is infuriating cause the media was meant to protect American citizens. They are now just extremely biased, corrupt, political hacks who are ripping our country apart. They are clearly abusing the special privileges they were given under our Constitution.

You are absolutely right, OP.

This inflammatory language and "psychiatrizing" (a term coined by Prof. Dershowitz; i´d never heard it before) is extremely dangerous.

The Left is still trying to bring about revolution.

Trump was making a point that educated immigrants from Asia, which would include people of different colors, might be of more benefit to the nation that hundreds of thousands of uneducated dependents.

I think Chuck Todd hates Asians.

Only in Chuck Todd´s desired world, as it fits their story line.

Trump is calling for merit based immigration, which does not limit it to white, European countries.

I´ve said over and over, the GOP should be calling for legal immigration of 30-35 million over 15-20 years, but have it open to Russians, Chinese, India, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Brazil, Australia, Ireland, etc.. Cross-spectrum of people, nationalities, which includes people of color.

Secret FBI source for Russia investigation met

Washington Post, by Robert Costa*    Original Article

In mid-July 2016, a retired American professor approached an adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign at a symposium about the White House race held at a British university. The professor took the opportunity to strike up a conversation with Carter Page, whom Trump had named a few months earlier as a foreign policy adviser. But the professor was more than an academic interested in American politics — he was a longtime U.S. intelligence source. And, at some point in 2016, he began working as a secret informant for the FBI as it investigated Russia’s interference in the campaign, according to people familiar

U.S. law enforcement and intelligence officials have leaked extremely sensitive information about a top secret source three times in the last week while claiming that confidentially sharing information about the source with congressional investigators could greatly impact U.S. national security and potentially risk the source’s life. The officials have leaked specific information that could directly identify the source on three separate occasions to reporters at the Washington Post and New York Times. This raises even more questions about whether current top intelligence and law enforcement officials can be trusted to obey the law and to

Boston — The former mayor of New Orleans is being honored for his leadership in removing Confederate memorials in his city. Mitch Landrieu will be presented with the 2018 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for standing behind his decision to take down four monuments. The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is paying tribute to Landrieu for taking the action despite legal challenges and outright threats from those who insist the Confederacy is an important part of New Orleans’ heritage. President Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is scheduled to make Sunday night’s presentation.
