With his newly minted title as the world’s richest person, Amazon’s (AMZN) Jeff Bezos announced on Friday that he is donating a piece of his $108 billion fortune to fund 1,000 college scholarships for “Dreamers.” TheDream.US, the nation’s largest scholarship program for Dreamers, said Bezos donated $33 million in a scholarship grant—one of largest grants in the organization’s history—to give 1,000 undocumented immigrant high school graduates who are part of the Deferred Action for Children Arrivals (DACA) program the opportunity to go to college. “My dad came to the U.S. when he was 16 as part of Operation Pedro Pan,” Bezos

Comments:
These leftists just make me sick! Their affection for all the illegals is just outrageous. What about AMERICAN children?? Bezos and his ilk should be utterly and completely ashamed of themselves for destroying this country that has given them so much. It just infuriates me that they snub those born in this country..

You don´t learn anything, when people give you things. The younger generation has nothing to do but get into trouble, when they don´t DO things to earn what they want.

Good bezo. You pay for their college tuition. Don’t forget to pay for their food and housing. After they graduate send them back to their own country. Tell them to fix the place where they came from. Help their own people

So how many Americans has Bezos provided scholarships for??

Perhaps it is time to consider a national sales tax on internet sales, you know so we have the money to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged American citizens, as opposed to illegal aliens. You hearing me Jeff??

He could give $10,000 to 100,000 American citizens to go to college, and still have $107 billion. What a cheapskate...

When you have $108 billion, $33 million is nothing. But to give it as a reward for criminal behavior is just disgusting. Guess I will have to stop using Amazon for anything, since Mr. Bezos doesn´t seem to like Americans.

It´s his money and he can do what he wants with it. He is free to support those things he believes in, be it dogs & cats, wounded soldiers, or college for undocumented immigrants. I would only hope some of these kids take their education gift, when done, willingly return to their home country in order to make IT better. America is a good place to live. What about some of those "other" countries, that Trump allegedly so indelicately (but accurate!)mentioned? If they´re so repellent to it´s own peoples, why not make them better?

That is 3/100ths of one percent of his entire fortune. That´s the equivalent of an average incomer giving $9.00 to buy a street bum a Burger King meal.

33 million to buy a college education to some border crashers. wonderful. Can´t think of anything else to do with it, can he? besides, where4 do you go to get a 4 year university education these days for $33,000.00? That´s only $4,125 per semester. My neighbors daughter just enrolled in Utah State and her books and labs alone were $2,100! What will they live on? Or does he think that will pay their living expenses in a half-way house, while the State tuition pays the rest of their way through community college?

see? The numbers do not add up. This is pure Bull scatology!

My son has a year and a half of college left. His father and I work crazy hours to pay for his college, after paying for our older son´s college. They´re not illegal though so they don´t get free in-state tuition like others in our State do. And they don´t qualify for financial aid. And our taxes are going up.

He can contact me anytime he wishes to pay for the remainder. Not holding my breath though.

I can see his point, after all it was citizens who made him rich, and as he see them as stupid, why waste money on them.
There is, however, a potential serious downside.
What he is doing is knowingly entering into a contract with an illegal alien, that is a crime. Even if he only gets 2 days in jail for each offence it will be sufficient to dissuade him from trying this again.

But it sure would be nice if he would maybe help send 1,000 kids of US military members who died in service to this country to college.

I think it will be interesting if this blows up in his face the same way it did when Starbucks declared that they were going to hire a bunch of illegals...

WASHINGTON — For once, President Donald Trump is opting to go smaller. The president who delights in bigness — of his buildings, his crowd sizes, his hands — is opting for a slimmed-down affair when he hosts French President Emmanuel Macron for his first state dinner on Tuesday. Imagine a combination of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and you´ve got Kamala Harris, the current seat-warming senator from California who, like Obama, is using the World´s Greatest Deliberative Body as a resume-puncher before swiftly moving on to bigger things: the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Even as a nobody senator, she´s been the subject of dozens, perhaps scores of speculative stories about her future, so now -- lest they build her up too quickly -- Politico and other Democrat cheerleaders are cautioning her to get her ducks in order before heading out on the hustings: "Kamala Harris has been called “the

Cannabis is responsible for 91 per cent of cases where teenagers end up being treated for drug addiction, shocking new figures reveal. Supporters of the drug claim it is harmless, but an official report now warns the ‘increased dominance of high-potency herbal cannabis’ – known as skunk – is causing more young people to seek treatment. (Snip) At least two studies have shown repeated use triples the risk of psychosis, with sufferers repeatedly experiencing delusional thoughts. Some victims end up taking their own lives.

NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton excoriated President Donald Trump for his treatment of the media, saying in remarks on Sunday that press rights and free speech are “under open assault” in the current administration, which she compared to an authoritarian regime. “We are living through an all-out war on truth, facts and reason,” Clinton said at the PEN America World Voices Festival, in Manhattan. “When leaders deny things we can see with our own eyes, like the size of a crowd at the inauguration, when they refuse to accept settled science when it comes to urgent challenges like climate change

The gunman who opened fire at a Nashville Waffle House with an AR-15 wearing nothing but a green jacket is still on the run and police have warned he is armed and dangerous. Travis Reinking, 29, shot dead four people and injured several more at the Waffle House in Antioch early Sunday morning before shedding his jacket and fleeing. Police said Reinking had his Illinois gun license revoked last year at the request of the FBI and four of his weapons were seized by authorities in Tazewell back in October. Residents in the San Francisco Bay Area are living along a fault that is a "ticking time bomb" that could generate an earthquake that could kill hundreds, according to a report released Wednesday. The U.S. Geological Survey said in a report called the "HayWired Scenario" that a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on Hayward Fault located under Oakland could kill as many as 800 people and injure up to 18,000. “This fault is what we sort of call a tectonic time bomb,” USGS earthquake geologist emeritus David Schwartz told the Los Angeles Times. “It’s just waiting to go off.” Researches said the Hayward Fault is dangerous because it runs through

A funny thing happened on the way to this week’s column — Sen. Jon Tester did something I liked. On Wednesday, Sen. Tester took part in a Senate Commerce Committee hearing where he blasted someone who is perhaps the least popular man in America. No, not Jeff Zuckerberg (he is SO last week!). I’m talking about Adrian Abramovitch. Chances are, you’ve never heard of Abramovitch, but even so, I am confident that — along with me and Sen. Tester — you don’t like him! Indeed, when you find out that Abramovitch is accused of making nearly 100 million robocalls in

AMSTERDAM -- Amnesty International gave former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick its Ambassador of Conscience Award on Saturday for his kneeling protest of racial injustice that launched a sports movement and might have cost him his job. (Snip) "Racialized oppression and dehumanization is woven into the very fabric of our nation -- the effects of which can be seen in the lawful lynching of black and brown people by the police, and the mass incarceration of black and brown lives in the prison industrial complex," Kaepernick said. On April 21 Breitbart News reported that Yeti Coolers cut ties with the NRA Foundation and by April 22 a #BoycottYeti campaign was sweeping Twitter. NRA president Marion Hammer explained the NRA Foundation is a charitable organization that raises money for youth and educational programs nationwide. She noted that Yeti products have long been a staple at Friends of NRA Foundation banquets and functions. However, on April 20, the NRA-ILA quoted Hammer saying, “Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with the NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why.

Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez said failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has not been consulted on the DNC’s civil lawsuit alleging collusion between Russia, WikiLeaks, and the Trump campaign. Perez said on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday he hadn’t talked to Clinton ahead of the DNC filing the lawsuit. “I have not consulted Hillary Clinton to ask her permission to file a complaint. The buck stops with Tom Perez and we filed this complaint because our democracy is at risk,” Perez said. “This was an assault on our democracy and we have to protect that.” Perez said the DNC
